Cute décor and friendly staff. I was pretty underwhelmed and disappointed with the sides. However, I did enjoy my BBQ pork sandwich. The BBQ sauce on the side was very good. Although I was fine, I’d imagine guys are still hungry after that sandwich. All in all pretty good but not dying to go back tomorrow

Update: decided to try for a quick dinner and there was no line, no wait, and I got my salad quickly. It was tasty and I enjoyed it on the patio on a beautiful LA evening.

I love their sandwiches. They offer healthy options and are super delicious. I like how they have this kids’ corner with games and coloring. My kids loved this place.

Delicious quality ingredients. My favorite is the pork belly banh mi. The healthiest salad is pretty delicious too. Restaurant has a cool rustic vibe. They also have a variety of games you can play while you wait for your food. Definitely a family friendly place! Service was quick and welcoming.

I’ve been here a bunch since my last review — whether you’re vegan or not you need to try the Smoky Sweet Hippie, it’s amazing! The tempeh bacon is so good. And get it with a side of curry cous cous. My one complaint is that when you order, you do it at a till but pay at a different place. And they tell you to put your orders in together so they come out together, but then that you can pay separately at the window — but it’s a total hassle. It’d be nice if they had an easier way to do the ordering/paying for people who have bigger parties but pay separately.

Came here for the first time…, was positively surprised! Nice sandwiches, had a chicken one with various greens…, quite good. However, on subsequent visits, takeout screwed up beyond belief. Charged for a side salad, but there was no side salad in the package when I got home. Wifey’s Save Drake’s Farm Salad had no goat cheese. A few of those visits and we say«no thank you.»

When I’m craving farm to table food, Pucks Natural Soda, or both, I escape to this location. The staff are super friendly, attentive, and go out of their way to make sure that customers are happy. You get excellent service whether you order to dine in or to go. My favorite dish, the Save Drake’s Farm salad never disappoints. Sometimes you get a chance to sample foods while waiting in line.

I’ve been here a few times. The employees are very nice and helpful! They have great sandwiches and salads. I also love the curried cauliflower side dish! It is craveable = my new word

Amazing food and amazing service! My first time here and the waiter was super helpful and offered me several suggestions, which I took up on! I’m not a very big sandwich person, but this place is definitely worth it. The decorations are super hip and cute! Very tumblr-esk feeling and I couldn’t help but take a picture of the«eat happy» sign! We’ll definitely be back.

First time here and it was too die for! Turkey club is the way to go! It’s everything I could ask for in a club. I’m so picky and this sandwich is amazing. I can’t wait to try more menu items

Came here again during the busy lunch rush and I was really happy with the food! My only problem is that when I was ordering at the front door, there was such a long line that another server decided to open a second POS system to take everyone’s order to lessen the wait time. Instead of taking the first person from the front of the current line to take their order, she asked people right in front of her for their order. So she started from the center of the line. People who were 4 – 5 people behind me got their orders taken faster! If you’re going to open another register, at least start from the order of the line and not from the center just because they’re in front of you! Doesn’t make sense! I was really not a happy camper with that situation. But the food and yummy seasonal grape lemonade made up for that mishap! I still love you Mendocino Farms.

Great place, love that there are vegan options, but of course they could always use more(they have 3 vegan options right now under sandwiches). They’ve also got beer and wine, and great unique fountain sodas. They only need to work on maybe speeding up service just a bit, and as I said before, some more vegan variety, and this place’ll be on point.

Aside from the excellent service and food typical to. Mendocino farms, this one is in a great location ANDTHEYHAVEWINEONTAP. Wine. Good wine. From a tap. The manager was awesome and came and apologized because our order came out a bit later than usual. Offered us free sides and was genuinely apologetic. This location needs to win an award. We will definitely be back. And oh god the Short Rib sandwich. Beautiful.

I’ve tried tons of different things on this menu and have loved every single one of them. Most recently I had the maple glazed pork belly club sandwich which was juicy and delicious. The study of hear is a great classic, and I recently had the chicken and prosciutto panini with avocado and honeyed almonds. The cream of tomato soup is also a favorite of mine. The portion sizes are quite large so it’s perfect for sharing or for two meals. I am in love with their lemonade and ice tea which I tend to mix together because sometimes the lemonade can be a bit too sweet for me. They allow you to try samples of the side options which I think is great if you’re reluctant to be adventurous and try something new.

I want to give this place(like the one on Fairfax) a 5-star rating, but I just can’t… and I don’t know why. They try so hard to offer nothing but fresh, clean and healthy food for we consumers. They really try ! I can’t say I have anything bad to say about them either… maybe at most, their side dishes(the ones I’ve tried) are a bit on the spicy side, and maybe they sound a bit strange(not things I’d typically order), but they aren’t bad either once I break down and try them(like curried couscous with cauliflower). For lunch, I tried their«Modern Tuna Melt,» which had all white albacore tuna with fresh herbs, cheddar cheese, vegenaise, pickles, red onions, tomatoes, lettuce on panini-pressed buckwheat bread. Overall, very tasty. I enjoyed it, especially knowing it was a much healthier version of what I’m used to eating. I would get it again for sure. My husband ordered their«Prosciutto & Free Range Chicken Sandwich,» which had prosciutto & roasted free range chicken breast with fresh mozzarella cheese, crushed honey roasted almonds, basil pesto, balsamic vinegar, tomatoes on panini-pressed ciabatta. He enjoyed all the flavors and unique mix of them, but his one and only criticism was that they put waaaaaaaaay too many almonds in his sandwich. Just too much, even with all the other ingredients. While I liked what I ate and perhaps would go as far as to say, I liked it a lot, it just didn’t make me go «wow» or sit there and moan with delight… but hey, four stars is very respectable. This restaurant is definitely worth trying if you haven’t already… especially if you want to eat good food and not feel guilty about it.

Very tasty sandwiches and salads. Loved that you could sample the side salads before deciding on one… or not. The«samples» they give are a pretty good bite. If i had sampled all 9 salads that were available that day, i probably could’ve gotten away with not ordering one. I did however order the Curried Couscous. DELICIOUS. I’m a potato salad fan, but after sampling both the potato and the couscous, i had to get an order. I ordered the Peruvian Steak sandwich. I love Saltado with Aji sauce, so when i saw this on the menu i had to try it. Sandwich was pretty good. the aji amarillo gives it a good kick. Steak was tender and well seasoned. The only thing i wasn’t a huge fan of was the torta bun, which was somewhat mealy. I would’ve preferred a softer texture on the bread to soak up all the sauce and juices from the steak. Another customer sitting at the communal table had ordered the Spicy Lemongrass Steak Bahn Mi and that looked really good as well. The natural sodas are a nice touch. I tried their Cherry Cola and was pretty good. Very close to Cherry Coke. The restaurant itself is open and airy. Love the long couch inside where they also have a Foosball table. Outside seating looks really cozy where they also have a bean bag toss to pass time. Staff is friendly and helpful. While this location is far for me(I happened to be working in the area), I definitely plan to visit the location by UC-Irvine since it’s so close to my office.

Well designed, rustic yet modern — really nice and great light. Patio is lovely with a mix of high tops, bench seating, and little tables. Inside, also an eclectic mix of seating with vaulted ceilings, very much of a cool warehouse feel. I like. The counter order process is a little messy. I spoke to 2 people, ordered, just to step up to cashier for person #3. The«The 8 Hour» Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich sounded too good to pass up($ 9.45). Bring it on! Pulled Pork sandwich — pork was tender, but way too sweet and on grilled panini? Hardly. It was a 6″ roll cut in half, and barely toasted or grilled. Plus, it doesn’t come with chips, c’mon! That’s a necessity in my book! I paid separately for a bag of Habanero potato chips by Mama Zuma’s…excellent. Sandwich, probably a 4.0 star. Love the soda machine. You won’t find Poopsi or Poke here, only Puck’s — an all natural, no artificial colors or preservatives(you’ll have to bring it from the outside if you want it!). Recommend: The Black Cherry. One peeve: No salt shakers. If you ask, they have to go to the back and bring out a little paper cup worth. Almost making up for it are really nice pepper grinders brought to your table upon request. On the to try sample: Tuna on wheat(they are huge), the salads, and the lunch special(half sandwich, soup and salad for $ 9.95 — but no chips!). I’ll be back.

Yum! Went here for lunch on a Friday and boy oh boy was it packed. And now I can understand why. The Good: Its a healthier alternative for a quick lunch bite. It’s both healthier and filling at the same time, but most importantly it’s also delish!!! There was a line wrapping outside when we arrived. There was menus ready out side so I got to peruse and was ready to place my order as soon as it was my turn. The line didn’t take long, everything in the menu was pretty simple, sandwich & salad. The interior had an eco-urban feel to it. Outside seating was gorgeous on a beautiful day such as today. Fake grass on their benches, both high tables & bar stools and regular ones for family-friendly dining. Total win. They also had a big communal table inside and small tables around it, space was a bit limited but none too claustrophobic. Staff was attentive, there were always eyes on our table to see if we needed anything. Was pleasantly surprised that they offer refills for their seasonal lemonade, but hey I’ll take it! Lol ** Pulled Pork Bahn Mi was a winner the protein had the right amount of smokiness and sweetness to it, the pickled veggies complimented well, the samich had the right amount of heat to it and I was very surprised by how tasty it was. I’m not normally a fan of ciabatta bread but they got theirs down pretty good. It didn’t disintegrate when I bit into it and it wasn’t hard as a rock either. Lol. *** Speaking of pickles. You should def try their dill pickle chips! I was iffy about it at first because the concept was new to me. The first bite was weird, but it was good weird! It’s a nice side to a samich! Plus you don’t get pickle breath after! ** Spicy Dijon Potato Salad; don’t be intimidated by the spicy part, it’s really not that spicy, it just has a subtle kick of heat to it that dissipates pretty quickly! ** Curry Couscous; the couscous was cooked right, the curry while lacking a bit of spiciness was not bland at all. I could honestly just eat this for lunch and call it a day ** Seasonal lemonade was refreshing, nothing special like True Food in SaMonica but it works! And it’s free refill! Oh and they offer you free taste of their sides while you’re in line! Awesome! ======== The Bad & The Ugly? None really! Parking was a nightmare on a busy lunch day but it isn’t really their fault! Will def be back to try their salads and sodas!
