First of all, I’ve seen gas station bathrooms look nicer than this place. Definitely 0⁄5 stars. Monclova is in no way professional at all. They can’t even afford to buy decent tables or decorations so it looks like they bought all of them from a garage sale or found them in a dumpster. And this is just were it begins. Remember when people dressed up to go to work? Clearly, these people don’t. The main worker must not own any clothes because she is wearing food stained pajamas every time I go there. Their service is all around sloppy. Worst of all, they let their 3 year old son run around the«restaurant» climbing on tables and playing with toys everywhere. When you look where the kitchen is, toys are stacked against the wall. Quite frankly, I don’t know if the 3 year old is making the food its that bad. The only thing I can stand to eat there are the breakfast burritos, which just a step up from microwaveable burritos. Overall, do not come to this restaurant! When you walk in and see the giant Jesus and Mary statue, you better pray that you can hide your disgust or walk out and go to United Chinese. Figuring that they had December 8th on their Christmas calendar until the end of January, they are not fit to run a restaurant.

We have been to this restaurant 3 times and don’t know that we will be going back, each time we have been there they have been out of something. The menu is not big enough to run out of a menu item.

I’m glad to have read the other reviews that mention the authentic Yucataen(sp) food as being what they are known for. If you are looking for a smothered burrito, this is not the joint for you. The green chili sauce will come as a green slime surprise. The photos they have don’t reflect that, so I was surprised when I got my food.

I gave this a try after I noticed they had changed names, the last place was pretty bad. This go around I ordered a simple smothered chicken burrito to go. $ 7.99. To start the green chili is very odd, maybe it is authentic to some region but it’s not characteristic of Colorado green chili. It was very similar to egg drop soup in flavor but thick. Thick with corn starch so it was kind of a clear gelatinous sauce. Fairly strong chicken bouillon flavor but bland. The burrito itself was stuffed with beans, cheese that didn’t melt very well, rice and chicken. The chicken was unseasoned as well and lent very little flavor to the burrito. Needless to say it was a let down, the first thing that came to mind was hospital food.
