This is one of our favorite places. It’s on my way home so we do takeout more often than eating in. It’s definitely better to eat in rather than do takeout, sometimes the pasta can be a little dry. However, the food is great so we keep coming back every Monday!(And sometimes Sunday) my favorite is chicken broccoli and ziti Alfredo and my boyfriend loves their chicken parm.

Tried this restaurant out for the first time tonight. The girl who took out order over the phone was very nice and polite. Ordered Chicken Marsala, Brushetta appetizer and also chicken Francese. Was told 15 min and we waited 30. Finally got home and the Brushetta was awful and not cooked. We ordered both dishes with Angel hair and both dishes came with red sauce ?? I don’t know why red sauce was put on a Marsala dish or Francese dish. Marsala was burnt and the cheese wasn’t even melted on the Francese. The breaking point was the small black hair in the red sauce. We tried it but definitely not try a second time.

New place 1st time here. Door windows were dirty upon entering! Not impressed to start with. Maybe its me but I like everything clean &1st impressions count. Upon sitting it was loud. The table was tiny. Requested a bigger table & asked if they had a quieter table. We moved to at least a bigger table then bistro size we started with. Overly loud was as it was. :) Waitress was friendly & pleasant. Because of her I stayed to try the food. Food was a bit salty, ordered clam sauce, also the chicken & veal with red skinned potatoes had chunks of garlic & onions randomly in it. Dessert a homemade pumpkin spice cake made right here was very good. I asked the waitress for her recommendation. By the end of the meal I will come back due to the waitress and try the food again. Oh when I left the windows were cleaned too. Any concerns I had and mentioned to the waitress she cared, and listened to. The manager I believe on duty walked around and spoke to others. I looked up a few times after voicing concerns and saw her what appeared to be glancing my way. She did not come to my table. Huge thanks to DJ our waitress. They are fortunate to have you as a waitress. The hostess was good too. Service is why I’ll try again more then food first.

Capellini’s catered our company holiday event this past Friday and they were AMAZING to work with. From the first phone call with the catering lead, Maria, to the clean up and final interaction I felt they cared about my business and took pride in their food and service. Maria coordinated our event and worked with me to design the menu options. She offered suggestions and made planning the food for this event extremely smooth and easy. We ordered a 3 entrée buffet which came with 2 salads, 2 sides, and rolls w/butter for roughly 60 people. We also ordered a nice assortment of canollis and pastries. The food was great! Everyone at the event raved and asked for the same for our next event. We had Maria and Cindy stay to set up, serve, and clean up and they were both awesome. True professionals at what they do and it showed. If you’re hosting an event I urge you to give Capellini’s catering a try!

Capellini’s has been my family’s staple«going out to eat» restaurant for a while now. Both my sister and I celebrated our high school graduations with a family dinner at Capellini’s — while a little small, you are usually seated very quickly and you can enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying the ambiance in the«waiting room»(more of a corner of the restaurant with chairs). The food is nothing short of incredible with a small but quality wine list. My family nearly always gets the toasted ravioli, arancini and sometimes calamari for appetizers — it’s so hard not to fill up when the food is so good and you’re also served fluffy(and I mean FLUFFY) Italian bread with seasoned oil. An Italian restaurant is not a good Italian restaurant if you aren’t served quality bread and oil. Some places don’t even serve bread/rolls etc. Like who are you? So for the meals — my reviews are based on a long history of enjoying Capellini’s for both in-house dining and large-scale catering(big family parties) and the quality is incredible across the board. I nearly always get the Capellini special(angel hair, olives, shrimp, artichokes, all sorts of goodness) or the chicken and broccoli(cavatapi, mushrooms, broccoli and chicken in a light oil/wine/cream sauce). My mom usually gets a lobster ravioli or butternut squash tortoloni(specials I think) or something with the creamy risotto(heaven). My dad always gets chicken parm(the best I’ve ever had) or a seafood pasta dish. You will not be disappointed. The food and service are both amazing — I highly reccommend Capellini’s to anyone and everyone.

Don’t even live near the Tooks(Tewksbury) anymore, but always return to Capellini’s because it is still SOFREAKINGOOD. And I am picky about Italian food. Service is always impeccable, and so friendly.

The Capellini Special is delicious. I get it nearly every time a visit. My husband had a chicken cutlet that he raves was the best he’s ever had. Great service and excellent waitress who was super helpful and patient when we brought in our 2 year old.

The food was unbelievably amazing, our waitress was great, the other waitresses really didn’t seem that friendly though, this is our new favorite Italian Restaurant

Had the caesar salad, veal piccata and spinach risotto. Salad was ok, a little dry and they used shredded mozzarella instead of shaved parmesan. Veal was cooked to perfection, very moist and tender. Sauce had too much capers and was overly tart. Spinach risotto was a little al dente for my taste but flavor was good. Overall a decent place but not top shelf.

3 chicken fingers covered in cheese does not constitute chicken parm in my book. Service was o. k not a very comfy feeling place seems more like a daytime lunch spot. Calamari was o. k I guess. It’s hard to screw that up. Won’t be back. There’s much better down the street

Local Italian, great food that still couldn’t make up for poor device and uncomfortable atmosphere. The noise of the kitchen and wait staff prep area made it difficult to continue. Very loud voices and noises as was well as someone reprimanding an employee, not cool. The spinach salad with grilled chicken was nice but slightly over priced. Combo meal satisfied our 17 year old and the Rosario was flavorful. Hoping the owners see and take note, time to renovate and«quiet» it down for continued success! After reading some more reviews, updating because I have not done take out. Taking the comment out.

Some of the very best Italian food in the area. If your ordering take out look at their party plater menu– you get triple the food and it costs much less than if you order separate entrees. A full platter which includes bead, side and a veggie easily feeds 4 – 5 or get a half tray for 2 – 3. The pasta is always excellent but they excel at their chicken dishes. The roasted anti pasta platter is not to be missed– an assortment of fresh meat, cheese and other Italian nibbles.

Tasty dishes are what you can expect when dining at Capellinis. Bread is so fresh and a perfect start. Serving sizes are large. Leftovers are great the next day. Family friendly. Parking is a little tight but usually no problem finding a spot.

I use Capellini’s for lunch catering, for family event catering, and for a nice place to meet with friends. The staff is very friendly, the food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I cannot recommend Capellini’s more!

Very good food in a nice atmosphere. Parking lot seems to be a little small for the restaurants. Definitely planning to come back

First the service was very good to excellent. Too bad they didn’t have food to serve that matched the quality of the service. When the best thing about your meal is that the broccoli is done to perfection that’s not a good thing. Bland describes it best. The food and the presentation spoke of a lack of care in the kitchen. Cold, sliced italian white bread? Even the Olive Garden can do better. At the price, I’d rather go there.

Came in tonight Sunday night with high expectations because I hear so much of this place and I am super disappointed. Service great and the atmosphere is lovely but the food is so plain! What happen to the italian touch with flavor and all in the pasta and sauces?! No flavor in pasta or sauces and meatballs were not fully cooked.

We have been coming here for years and have never been let down. My parents got the Cappelli Special with chicken which they really love. I got the fettuccine Alfredo and it was very creamy and decently sized. On Monday nights they also had a special where you roll a dice and win something. We got free dessert which was a nice unexpected surprise and ordered the Chocolate Lover’s cake. It was delicious and good sized that 2 of us comfortably split it. We will be back!

I really dont get how anyone can give this less than 5 stars. They have catered my holiday dinners for the last 5 years as well as a few date nights at the restaurant itself. I can’t tell you what not to have as you should have it all. However, if you want the best of the best there, have anything with Capellini’s on the end, whether it is shrimp, veal, chicken. Debbie has been the manager each time i have ordered or gone there and she as well as the staff never fail to please.
