Excellent and fast service, amazing food, and a nice beer selection. Definitely different than any other place in the area and I mean that in the best way possible. Friendly staff and the environment is amazing as well. Will definitely go back!

I’m in pain after devouring the Angry Balls and the whole Ada burger. I’ll probably never go back, but not because I didn’t love it. Because I did. And I want to live. It’s all that is right and wrong with America. Well done.

I love the ruby burger from fifis. The smothered fries appetizer is wonderful. The vibe that the restaurant puts off is vintage and fun. My only complaint is the parking lot… which isn’t their fault. But I can’t walk very well and it’s a little bit of a walk from the lot to the building.

I was planning on having my first meal there today. Unfortunately it was not to be. We sat down and got our menus pretty quickly from some guy who walked by. 11 minutes later we still waiting for our order to be taken. The sad part was the waitress working our table walked past us many times without as much as eye contact or a comment saying she should be with us shortly. We left and went to Wendy’s.

I have had good experiences and bad experiences. Actually I am 2 for 4. My first time the burger was so salty and full of seasoning it tasted like I was eating a deer meat, it was really weird. The second time I ordered the peanut butter and jelly burger, and it came completely regular, I just paid the extra for the premium burger. My last two times have been good. I tried the casserole filled balls instead of fries last time and was not a fan at all. Others like them, so not sure about those. Overall, they still need to impress me.

OMG I love FiFis! I love how it’s different-stuff you can’t get everywhere else. I love the hashbrown balls. All the hotdogs are smothered in something unique.

I have eaten here twice now and I like the vibe. The burger of the day was a «german» which was on a pretzel bun. Very juicy. The second visit I had one of the several hot dogs selection, and I was expecting more than it turned out to be. It was good, but not a show stopper. I will continue to go back as it beats going to a fast food burger joint by a mile.

Very unique experience(in a good way). The square doughnut burger was surprisingly tasty. Had the pulled pork and bacon melt today= another winner. Been there a few times and the food and service has always been good. RECOMMENDED!!!

Finely got to try this restaurant today for the first time thanks to the services of Deliverytogo. I ordered the Ada Monster bacon cheeseburger, fries, and hashbrown casserole balls. The burger lived up to its name because it is monstrously huge! Its a bacon cheeseburger with a ton of toppings smashed in between to grilled cheese sandwiches. This burger was hard to finish in one sitting due to its size, and Im one big guy who can put some food away. Overall, one FINE sandwich. The hashbrown casserole balls were tastey and very cheesey, full of flavor. The fries on the other hand are the reason I didnt rate this restaurant with five stars. The fries were inconsistent. Most of them were cooked perfectly, but there were four or five fries that were not consistent with the thickness of the rest of the fries rendering some fries with undercooked areas. However, the fries were tastey and very satisfying.

Dropped off college daughter at Rose-Hulman and had to give this a try. Comfort food with a twist is just too tempting. We started with our friendly waiters recommendation of HBC(hash brown casserole) balls and being the spicy aficionados we are, we got the spicy ones. They actually weren’t very spicy but they were super creamy and cheesy with regular and cream cheese which hubby didn’t like but I enjoyed. I ordered the Fifi burger which had a fried egg, soft pretzel roll, cheese, fried onions, bacon, and a sweet monster sauce. Super rich burger and I could only eat half. Hubby got grilled onions only on his burger. Both my burger and hubby’s were a little overcooked but still tasty. They didn’t ask how we wanted it cooked but different states have different rules I know. The fries were amazing as we’re the baked beans Such an interesting menu and service was fantastic! I’d try it again!

One of the most unique and enjoyable restaurants in Terre Haute. The menu is one of a kind. We have tried many things on the menu and have never been disappointed. If you enjoy good food in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere and want excellent service this is the place to go.

Pros: — Great service — Food from standard menu was excellent — Unique dishes and desserts that you can’t find anywhere else — Made-from-scratch goodness — Average pricing Cons: — Special stuffed jalapeño appetizer was a disappointment I visited Fifi’s on Wabash this weekend and overall was impressed with the quality of the food and service. The décor was a bit odd with mismatched tables and chairs everywhere. I wasn’t a big fan of it but it didn’t bother me either. Everything appeared clean. We started with a special stuffed jalapeño appetizer. These were jalapeño pepper halves filled with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon, presented over some leafy greens and sprinkled with seasonings and dried herbs. Sadly, the effort put into the presentation wasn’t consistent with the quality of the dish. The jalapeño peppers were hot(temperature-wise) but very crunchy, still essentially raw. The filling and bacon were cooked through but the bacon didn’t have time to crisp up; it was tough and stringy, making it very difficult to eat. However, the flavor combination was good and the cream cheese filling successfully countered the spicy heat so you could appreciate the jalapeño flavor without experiencing the burn. Overall I don’t recommend these. Luckily the rest of the meal was spectacular. I ordered the«Darth Vada» monster burger, a double cheeseburger(bleu cheese) with lots of toppings and a pretzel bun, with a side of fries. I ordered it without the bleu cheese and ended up with no cheese at all, so if you’re like me and don’t like bleu cheese make sure you specify to REPLACE the bleu cheese instead of NO blue cheese. The burger meat itself was cooked well done(but not too dry) and seasoned beautifully — one of the best tasting steakhouse-style burger patties I’ve had. The burger as a whole was excellent. The pretzel bun appeared to be made from scratch and was toasted. The toppings all tasted very good. I was worried that the pretzel flavor would overpower the other flavors, but it didn’t. The fries appeared homemade and were cut thick. They were cooked and seasoned to perfection, an accomplishment considering the thick cut. These are some of the best fries I’ve had. They were crisp on the outside while creamy on the inside just like they’re supposed to be. The seasoning tasted like a coarse sea salt; if so, I am surprised at how much that helps the flavor. I sampled a friend’s «angry balls». These things are AMAZING. Creamy and cheesy potatoes with just a hint of jalapeño on the inside with a crunchy golden crust on the outside and a smidge of sriracha on top. Yum! Caution: these may be addictive. For dessert, I tried a chocolate covered slice of bacon and a bacon-topped cupcake. The crispness of the chocolate covered bacon went well with the chocolate coating, but I would have liked more bacon flavor as the chocolate overpowered it completely. The cupcake was delicious; the bacon flavor was present and paired well with the other flavors in the cupcake. The server was very friendly and kept our drinks filled. In summary, Fifi’s puts a huge amount of effort into their food that really shines through. I like that they have a small menu to focus their efforts on and hopefully maintain their high standards. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes.

We ate at Fifi’s Lunch box the day that the ribbon cutting ceremony for the restaurant was to happen. My wife and I had been there previously and enjoyed our meal and our son wanted to give it a try. The first time my wife and I ate at Fifi’s I had way too much food. I ordered the Porchetta sandwich with HBC balls and my wife ordered the Lulu dog. My Prorchetta sandwich was tender and tasty and very rich. The toppings on the sandwich complemented the richness of the pork by cutting through the somewhat heavy texture. My wife liked her Hot dog as well. She discovered the delicious spicy cole slaw that topped her dog and got the slaw as her side dish in or most recent visit. While the first time was good, The second time we visited was truly Unilocalworthy. This time I had the Truffle grilled cheese sandwich with the tomato bisque. Grilled cheese and tomato soup is a classic combination and in order for a restaurant to serve a grilled cheese and tomato soup and be relevant, the soup and the sandwich needed be some of the best you had ever tasted. I am happy to report that Fifi’s grilled cheese and Tomato Bisque fulfilled that requirement. The bisque was tomato-ie with a tart and rich flavor without being overly heavy. It was the perfect complement to the ooey gooey grilled cheese sandwich. When our server brought me my dish i could see the lava like cheese flowing from between two thick slices of buttery perfectly grilled bread. I know too liberal a hand with the truffle oil can make a dish taste only of truffle. Fifi’s grilled cheese was not like that at all. You could taste the blend of cheeses that made the sandwich wonderful with a hint of the earth goodness that truffles lend a dish. If you wanted to further gild the lily you they will put bacon on your sandwich for a slight increase in cost. Speaking of bacon my wife had the BBBLT sandwich(sans mayo). There many truths in the world and bacon is one of them. There is very little in the world that bacon won’t make better, and this was really good bacon. It was crisp without being overly so and had a very nice smoked and pork flavor. My son looked at the Doughnut burger and was intrigued by the thought of eating a burger with doughnuts as the buns. I was not ready to try something like that but I admire the brave souls that have the courage to try it. He said it was rich and sweet and that the sweetness complemented the toppings and the burger. I would have liked to give Fifi’s full marks, the grilled cheese was wonderful and my families food was just as good. The only reservation I have is the fact that eating a Fifi’s can’t be a weekly affair. The cost of the food is reasonable and the service was friendly and prompt, but if I ate at Fifi’s every week I would be bigger than i am now.

A variety of burgers of the non-traditional sorts. Grilled cheese buns? Donut buns? Sure! Website says they are from Square Donuts, but ours were not. They also have a pretty good Roast Pork and Kale sandwhich! Pork could be more tender and have more seasoning, but it’s nice to have some variety in town. I always welcome local restaurants that offer some variety and aren’t just B&B food re-heaters. They also have beer at a descent price and offer some tempting looking baked goods and well as a selection of bacon-themed novelties

So, the Ada Burger uses 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as the bun… Ridiculous and not for those on any sort of diet, but it was sooo delicious! Also the«angry balls» are fried hash brown casserole nuggets with jalapeño and Sriracha. Very awesome! The food was good, the staff was friendly, they have a few beers on tap, and they’re a local business… what’s not to love? Did I mention they have a «donut burger» which uses TH’s very own Square Donuts? Don’t tell me the calorie count, just take my money!

Excellent service, awesome food choices, and bacon everywhere the eye can see. Fifi’s is not located where the current map shows it to be. It is north of Lafayette past Kroger North on the right-hand side. This is an amazing place to get breakfast lunch or early dinner!
