Came here a few years back so this is a long over due review. The tasting room was pretty quiet when we visited due to the rainy weather. The fellow who did our wine tasting was younger and really fun. Normally tastings are 4 – 5 samples, but he busted out all the stops and I lost count of how many we actually tried. We ended up buying 4 bottles. I can’t attest to the recent selections of wines, but when were there, the wine was awesome!

If you love any of the Peach Canyon wines you can find in the store, you’re going to go GAGA over the selections of crafted zins at the Winery. My only problem with Peachy Canyon is that they are always busy and you really don’t get the one-to-one experience unless you arrive at 10am(so arrive at 10am!).

Not happy at all with Peachy Canyon’s wine club; we have been a member for some time and have been happy with the selections; this past week we received our usual shipment and opened their Mustard Cree k Zinfandel and it was terrible; sour; mustve gone bad. I wrote the winery two emails and have received no appreciation for the alert nor even an answer; you measure a company not on wh ether they make mistakes but how they correct them; we will be rescinding our club membership and hope you don’t get a bad bottle sometime

Easy to find cause it’s right off the Hwy but that’s why this place is so popular. You can buy a bottle and take it out back and they have nice picnic tables. The wines aren’t that expensive and for good reason. Wines weren’t that tasty or full bodied. Tastings are $ 10 for any 7 wines and they have a bunch of Zinfandel. Picked up few cheap bottles to avoid the tasting fee.

We loved everything about this place. Every single wine we tried, we loved. Some favorites were: PARASIEMPRE, MSBEHAVE, 2013 Westside ZINFANDEL and their 2013PETITESIRAH. $ 10 tasting fee for 6 wines — the best part is they have a variety you can choose from. The grounds are gorgeous and the people working there are all super friendly and helpful. They also gave us a cork to bring over to Hunt Cellars for a free tasting(but Peachy Canyon was much better)! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

This was our first visit at this winery. Very nice server and friendly server. Very attentive but we didn’t love the wine. It was good but not outstanding. The port however was excellent. The negative is that it smelled like cats.

Super tasty wine but it’s a bit trashy when you see a mom with a baby strapped to her cheat in a holder while mom sips her wine! Gross

Dropped in again while driving through the area — still 5 stars in my book. Para Siempre 2012 was particularly memorable.

Our new favorite Zin label. Do the tastings, they are easy to find, convenient to the highway, knowledgeable and fun. The wine is great and the wine club makes it very affordable. Can’t go wrong.

Peachy Canyon should definitely be a stop on your Paso Robles wine tour… they have a variety of wines available, but their single-vineyard zins are the stars… fantastic, priced right, and among my favorites anywhere The tasting room is charming, and the staff have been very friendly and fun each time I’ve been here. We decided to become members, and have not been disappointed

We visited several wineries and peachy canyon was by far the favorite. Why? Because it was the least pretentious! It seemed to me like most of the wineries in the area focus on their surroundings than their product. Which is a treat for the eye, for certain, but I go for the wine. The lady was extremely helpful in describing wines that would appeal to my palate, and was generous with the pours. It’s not as flashy as what you can see nearby but in my experience, their product was smoother, more balanced, and way more delicious than head to head tasting of the competition. It seemed more homey and inviting, personally. We really enjoyed our visit.

This spot is right off of 46 with the giant chair! The reds are where it’s at and we loved the clevenger zin. The rest were ok! Glad we stopped in but probably won’t run back. The tasting felt a bit rushed…

Peachy Canyon was our first stop in Paso Robles and we did enjoy our tasting experience even though I’m only giving three stars. Overall, we weren’t a huge fan of their wines but liked how friendly and casual they were. One highlight were their zins but everything else was just not a favorite on our palette. I felt like we were searching for flavors after each sip. Cute nonetheless and great place to start for $ 10⁄6 tastings.

Peachy Canyon is by far our favorite winery. Every time we are in town or passing through we make it a point to stop by. We are always welcomed into the old school house warmly. We enjoy their Zins so much we joined their club. The customer service we receive is always excellent. The staff always go above and beyond. This past weekend we stopped by to pick up our club shipment and purchased a few extra bottles. When we got home we had opened our treasure trove and realized we were missing a bottle we had purchased. We called the tasting room, they looked up our receipt and confirmed our purchase. Steve was so kind to accommodate and problem solve the circumstance and took care of us. We appreciate their amazing staff, wine, and of course their kitties!

After the concerned message by the owner, we decided to give Peachy Canyon a second try. It was a much better experience and we ended up buying six bottles of wine. I really appreciate that the owner took the time to respond to my post and invite us back. To me, this made a lasting impression. I will always recommend Peachy Canyon for their wonderful hospitality and service.

Thankfully my husband and I got free tastings here through the Central Coast Wine app. If I had paid for this tasting I would have been even more disappointed. I’ve purchased 2 of their wines that I enjoyed: 2012 incredible red(buy it at Trader Joe’s, $ 9ish which is cheaper than the winery), and found a bottle of their 2012 Westside Zin at Costco while on vacation in Hawaii(I was SO excited to see a Paso wine, so maybe I enjoyed it more there since the selection that week away from CA had been subpar). Unfortunately inside the tasting room I wasn’t impressed with anything, poured most of them out. I would still highly recommend the incredible red for an under $ 10 table red, but in my opinion they failed at making quality reserve wines.

$ 10⁄6 tastings; waived with a $ 50 bottle purchase. They are known for their zins although they only had two to taste. The tasting room is in a super cute building. One side used to be an old school house. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive — one woman was pouring and keeping many people happy. Many stars for her. I started with the Viognier(a bit buttery for my taste) and then tried the Rose, Cirque du Vin, a Zin, the Old School House Cab and the Petite Sirah. All of the reds were quite good. I especially liked the two maine coon kitties. So fluffy. So snuggly.

We stopped into Peachy Canyon as we were driving through Templeton. Tasting is only $ 5 and that is refunded if you purchase a bottle.(They do offer complimentary tasting for 2 if you check-in on foursquare.) We didn’t spend too much time tasting, so I didn’t purchase any wine. My father-in-law did purchase a couple bottles(although I forget which reds they were). The guy pouring our wine was very friendly, but he spent more time chatting with another couple(which I believe were his friends). We did have a good time though and they even let our 70lb dog inside the tasting room even though they had a cat in there. Overall, it was a good experience and the signs they had in the tasting room were pretty amusing as well.
