Energetic hosts in a beautiful tasting room that is surrounded by gorgeous terrain. That is the good. The wines were not memorable except the Zin. Price points were very steep compared to excellent wines at other vineyards and wineries all over Paso. Tasting fee was not earned. Lots of hype here — catering to limos, buses and group tastings especially among the Millennial crowd. Not recommended for folks with educated palates.

Nice, smaller winery. We even got complimentary cheese, salami and crackers. Bought a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.

Great little spot in wine country, very clean and the staff is absolutely great. Great place for a Zinfandel.

Great wines, and cool location. This was recommended by a server at another winery, and I am so glad I took the advice. This woman really knows her stuff, and, evidently, she is some sort of regional legacy. I took a bottle of Syrah home with me, and am already looking forward to my return visit.

Stopped at J Dusi during our wine-tasting Anniversary trip in Paso Robles. This was actually an impulse stop for us as it wasn’t on our«list», but we drove by and decided to stop because it looked fun and friendly. Did not disappoint! We were there on a Wednesday so it wasn’t crowded at all. The wines were great, not the best of the trip, but easily a 4⁄5. We took home a bottle of Zin which is what they are most known for. This winery is family-owned and operated. The staff was really what made it memorable for us. Incredibly friendly and laid-back. They offered us homemade nuts and biscotti cookies to snack on during our tastings, and explained the history of the family, showed us pictures and the vines, talked about their process, and were genuinely enthused to have us there. I think we chatted with them for over an hour!

I gave it two trys… to be fair. The best I could come up with was average. I used to love this place when it was Edward Sellers(not cellars) I had such high hopes when Dusi took it over because I love the Dusi Vineyard zins I get from other wineries, who shall remain nameless so this doesn’t sound like a shameless pitch for some other wineries. Our server was marginally knowledgeable. That person went on and on about how Janell pays the same price for her grapes that everyone else does which I could care less I don’t care if grandpa gives them to her it’s how she makes wine with them The wine business is a tough one. That must be why when I ordered and paid for two tastings(6 wines) I got one glass of the 2012 zin and one glass of the 2013 zin but not one of each for both tasters. There goes the profit The best thing about the whole experience is the carmels they’re pricey but good. The price on the wines with a little bit high in my mind for the quality It’s definitely worth a visit but it’s not the first place I hit when I get to Paso Robles. And I will always be willing to check back from time to time to see if things get better

Attention to visitors were lightweight. The wines are sub-par compared to competing wineries. The little plates of noshes were nice. Service was OK but can’t overcome the mediocre wines. Suggest visitors try L’Aventure, Law Estste, Turley or Linne Colado for a five star experience.

Love, love, loved this place. We came here after visiting Doce Robles Winery(bad experience, you can read my review) and were greeted by friendly staff and the owner. Their dog Jenna, black lab, is so well-behaved and friendly, our kids and our silky terrier were all playing with her. Wine is good, especially their Syrah-and normally I don’t really like Syrah. Their port paired with chocolate salami was the best to finish our tasting there. I will surely be back to visit this place when I’m in the area and will recommend it to all my friends. Thank you for such great experience.

This place is fantastic! I knew I was in trouble when everything they poured was amazing. My husband gave me a two bottle limit, the Pinot Grigio was a sure bet but the choice between the Zin and Syrah was very difficult. The Syrah won but now I either have to join the wine club or make frequent visits to get there yummy wine! So happy we stopped!

Nice, sincere winery, solid wine offerings. An intimate tasting experience where everyone is very close-knit and knowledgeable. Though right off the main highway from Paso to Cambria, the grounds are comfortable, relaxed, beautiful. There’s a nice picnic area too.

After drinking wines for years that have been sourced by Dusi vineyards, we were super excited to discover their own tasting room with their own wines. The tasting room is beautiful, the staff very friendly and the winemaker, Janelle, was very knowledgeable. The wines were outstanding and a good value, we joined immediately and are looking forward to many more trips to Dusi.

$ 10 for 6 wines. Animal crackers too! Memory lane. My girlfriend’s Favorite was the port! The staff was extremely friendly. Great family owned winery. Fair amount of parking, and nice clean restrooms.

Went there on 03⁄05 in the late afternoon since it is right off Hwy 46 and easy to find. The tasting room and grounds were nice and staff was friendly. I found the wines to be okay, but not great especially for the price point and think they should lower the cost if they would like to incent the average wine buyer.

Where do I even begin? I hate the phrase«a must go» but J Dusi truly is! The property the winery is on is beautiful rolling hills and the entire experience from rolling down the driveway to things to check out after your tasting is top notch. There are plenty of interesting vehicles around; a classic old pickup, a modern Vespa(in the winery’s trademark light blue), and a weird tiny yellow old trucklet you can sit in. There’s also plenty of beautiful outdoor seating and a swing hanging from a tree to entertain yourself. Inside space is much more limited, space for only about six or so couples to be at the tasting bar. A smaller outdoor tasting bar is also available. The day we were there the owner(?) had baked sourdough bread and made several flavored butters that were incredible! Free chocolates were also on hand. The staff was also extremely friendly and even offered to take our photo several times. You may have noticed I haven’t mentioned one thing central to a winery. The wine. It was the weakest part of a great experience. But that isn’t to say it was in any way bad. The wines were quite tasty, especially their dessert wine(not too syrupy or too sweet), but not quite up to the level of some really good wines. Any good winery is about the overall experience though and not just the wine. J Dusi delivers in spades! It’s a must go!(*cringe*)

The JDusi family is awesome. We had a private tasting in the cellar for 12 and there were baby chicks and roosters in there too! The tastings were great and we all bought a few bottles. I really liked their Zin 2011 and I’m not even a Zin fan. The snacks at the tastings were generous and classy. They do not skimp on their patrons! I’d recommend this place to anyone. There’s plenty of parking and picnic tables to eat lunch. They have a food truck as well so you can eat after your tasting.

We just visited the new tasting room for J Dusi. They moved in at the old Edward Sellers location. Janell Dusi did a great job redecorating and incorporating their Dusi blue. The wines were excellent. Her family has been growing zinfandel for generations and it really shows. Here is an article on their opening:
