This location is classified as a community store, which means it’s a smaller version of the one in Killeen. This results in less of a selection, but don’t let this deter you from coming here. She was so patient despite all the unforeseeable problems handling our phone upgrade. Instead of feeling aggravated, she took it as a learning experience to prevent future issues from happening again. Stay positive. Major key. I love this store, we buy all of our electronics from here. Biggest thing I hate is the way the workers stare at me like I’m going to steal every time. Also too many workers bugging me while we’re trying to shop. «You want a credit card? Direct TV? Come look for me so I can ring you up when you’re done. Can I help you find anything?» I understand the concept of good customer service but having to fight of 5 to 6 employees during a 20 minute shopping trip is unnecessary and wildly irritating. Only reason I rate it so high is that we have never had a problem finding what we need or replacing items that are still under warranty.

One of the smallest Best Buys I’ve been to and their stock is very limited. While the staff was attentive and asked me several times if I needed assistance, the guy they sent to assist me was not very knowledgeable of TVs or their capabilities even though he is the«TV specialist.» They had no TVs with the function I was looking for(it’s a new feature and limited to only certain TV sets) only had one(and I mean one of the type of device and their stock) device available that could do what I wanted. I guess I shouldn’t have expected much going in, given the size of the town, but I hoped the specialist assigned to a particular area would atleast know his way around his own department.

4 stars! I was engaged by staff multiple times and to me that’s super important. I used to work at Best Buy so it annoys me when people are gathered around avoiding eye contact with customers. The workers here were super friendly and helpful! Thanks guys.

This is the best customer service ever!!! I purchased my phone there and have visited several times for a price matched product and always courteous friendly and always seem to do whatever is needed to help. Great job to your Temple Tx location for always making my shopping experience a great one.

Since Circuit City is no longer in business, it would seem that Best Buy is our only alternative in Temple, Tx. I have visited this store a few time with not very much success as far as customer service goes. The problem stems from the young employees knowing far less about the product they sell than I do. I’m no encyclopedia when it comes to electronics but it is easy to look the product up and compare to similar products. Example 1) I was looking at the IPad 2 last year and just wanted to know some of the features. The only thing the goober helping me could tell me was, «you can plug it into your tv and watch Netflix» I guess that was his main selling point because he told me that four times. I told him there were 400 pictures on the demo and he started erasing them one by one, I didn’t tell him he could erase all of the pics at the same time. I bought the IPad. This last time I did some research on TVs and decided to get Sharp 60″ Aquos as it was on sale for a good price. After staring at it for ten minutes goober #2 comes up and asks if he can help. I say yes I would like to buy the 60″ TV. He says he’ll have to see if it is in stock. He also stated that if they don’t have it, should he see if Killeen has it? I said yes. Well Temple didn’t have the sale item, Killeen did and they could have it here in a couple of days. All TVs over 50″ have free delivery so I asked what day it could be delivered, he said Thursday. That is ridiculous in this day and age. Six days to get a tv 3 miles to my house? I have got packages from Iraq faster than that. Anyway, I said that was too slow and I’ll keep looking, he asked where, I said Walmart or PX, he stated that the TVs look the same on the outside but they are different on the inside. I calmly stated that«that is why God made model numbers.» he looked at me bewildered and I stated«Adiós» and I was gone. I went to Killeen and bought the TV because it was $ 40 cheaper than Amazon. I don’t think that Best Buy can stay in business when the customer service isn’t that great. Or when the employees aren’t that knowledgeable about products. Here’s my point, Best Buy, you have a lot of Internet competition, Amazon had a better delivery date than you did and their normal price was close to your sale price. If you don’t want to be like Circuit City, you need to offer something to make us customers come in.

I really like going to best buy because for the most part the staff members are pretty knowledgeable about the electronics. I usually do research online but it helps coming into the store to see the life size view. I’ve never seen any lines either as noted in a previous review.
