This unassuming place is truly a great find. Stopped in after a tour that brought us to the area. Ordered the handmade chow mien(fat) noodles they were divine. Another stellar item was the Dumplings wonderfully flavored stuffing delicately perfect wrapping finished just right made a succulent divine morsel of a dumpling. Pot stickers good but not as good as dumpling. All the food was so impressive I decided to bring home food to the men at home could have passed on the«spicy chicken»(Generals Chicken at most spots) but may have been that it didn’t stand up well since it was packed tightly in a box. Ordered black mushroom with greens and loved the way they quartered the baby book Chou so that it was pretty and completely edible(sometimes other places just chop up the book Chou and leave you with stems in that are not quite appealing. I added braised tofu to mine and that was $ 1.50 extra and made a pleasing combination of flavored. The black mushrooms were creamy big halves of a whole mushroom and had a shiny glaze of that lovely garlic type perfect sauce that was a really delightful combination. Fried rice pretty yummy as well. BEST Chinese food I have had since living in San Diego for 6 years from the Bay Area! Also dug the odd décor featuring a wall of photos of random folks eating at Fannys as well as the numerous recruiting posters for US Navy. Our very sweet waitress ‘Tiffany’ was wearing what appeared to be a Navy recruiter T-shirt. Was that a uniform? Anyways wish Fanny’s wok was more in my proximity as it would be a definite go to for my household of food snobs.

Our go to Chinese food here in temecula. We’ve tried different Chinese food in this area but this one takes the crown. It’s a small family owned restaurant and the service is friendly. Inexpensive and food is excellent.

Our Family Go-To for Chinese food in town. The seating area is small and we love that! Ask for the homemade noodles. I believe we have tried everything on the menu. I favor the spicy dishes and they will turn up or down the heat as requested. Family Owned 5 Stars!

Not disappointed… ordered delivery to Churon Valley Inn. Food was there fast! Very affordable, and the vegetables were fresh, crisp and flavorful. We ordered the mushroom chicken and kung pao shrimp, which was plenty for hubby and I! The sauces were tasty and not over powering! Thanks!

I haven’t been to Fanny’s in awhile, but I hope to change that soon because we used to go frequently and the food was always good. It’s a nice little family run place with homemade noodles. My boyfriend rediscovered a dish he’s been trying to find for years, albeit under a different name.(The place he originally had it called it «fish flavored pork» and I can see why no one else uses that name.) It’s not a particularly attractive space, so if you’re looking for atmosphere this might not be the place for you. I’ve also received varying quality of service there, though it’s been awhile since they opened now so hopefully they’ve ironed that out a bit.

I don’t live around here but needed a bite around 8:40, I arrived at 8:50– 10 mins before close but there was not an ounce of irritation from Fanny who was the lady and owner I’m assuming. While I was waiting, despite it now being 9:08 she still served me hot tea which I didn’t order with the little crispy wontons, this was a huge bonus. I ordered the cream cheese wontons, shrimp and tofu, egg flower soup and the shrimp chow mein. Everything tasted excellent.

We were served hot tea as soon as we sat down. The pictures on the wall helped me choose a dish. I had the Dry Braised Green Beans with Pork. It was excellently prepared, delicious, and there was plenty of it. The service was great. We will definitely be back.

This has to be the worst food I have had in this town, ever. I try and not give a bad review. I understand that this is people’s living. Everything we had was flavorless. The fried rice, was white rice with some broccoli, a tiny bit of zucchini, a few mushrooms, and a bunch of eggs. The chow fun felt and tasted like noodles with butter. They were greasy and the chicken was bad. The special sauce shrimp was so flavorless that my kids wouldn’t even finish the shrimp. The dumplings were ok. I have also never been to any Chinese restaurant that doesn’t provide white rice with your entrees. They charge $.50 for a container or $ 1.00 for a large container. I spent nearly $ 50 and no one will even eat the leftovers. So in the garbage it will go. Very, very disappointed.

Just. Order. The. Dumplings. Omg. Ambience ain’t special but there’s no denying the homemade-ness behind the bao.

My go to place is closed on Mondays so I thought I would try Fanny’s Wok. I love small family restaurants and really hoped I would enjoy this experience. I ordered 5 items for 42 $ and some fried rice. The food was good but not great. The main problem I had was all of the cartons were only maybe 60% full leaving what seemed like a pretty good deal, in reality a poor deal at best. This restaurant is all the way across town so I won’t be back.

Our go to Chinese food place!!! We missed the old Chinese food place that was by Sprouts and hadn’t found anything good since they left a hole in our heart until now. We had been here before(I wanna say over 4 years ago) but I could have sworn it was a different place and it wasn’t very good then. I feel like it was like a small panda express type place before. My friend said she loved this place and they had very good handmade noodles. I was confused because I thought I disliked this place so I felt like I should give it another shot. Anyways one day we decided to try it. We got Mongolian beef, Chow Mein with hand made noodles, and Fried Rice. Omg. All soooooo good. The noodles are a bit salty but the handmade noodles are my kids’ favorite! It does have bok choy so when I remember I ask them to replace it with something else. The Mongolian beef is super awesome. I don’t know if I ever had Mongolian beef before but if I did Obviously it wasn’t good enough to remember, but their Mongolian beef is awesome! I have tried seem of their deep fried stuff and those aren’t as good. Like orange chicken was not that good. I think Panda express has truly mastered orange chicken. I haven’t been to a place where I liked their orange chicken other than Panda. So obviously you know how refined my taste palate is. My husband loves their fried rice! It is greasy and yummy just the way we like fried rice! When we eat in I always get their ice tea lemonade(must be country time or something because I see them mix a powder) but it is so darn sugary and good! I feel like I had my weeks worth of sugar in my drink! We come here all the time. Not sure why I hadn’t reviewed this place before.

Worst Chinese food experience. One star for the food, zero stars for customer service. We ordered three dishes from them, one of which should have contained rice according to their website. When we opened the packages, no rice. We called, and they told us rice was $ 1 extra, even though their website said rice was included with one of the dishes we ordered. The food was well below average, the noodles were overcooked, and overall, the food was not appetizing. Never again.

SOOOO good! We found this place on Unilocal while we were passing through Temecula, almost didn’t go because it’s a few miles off the freeway, but we decided to take up a little more time and go try it anyway; SO glad we did! We had a group of 5 so we ordered a few different things to try and it was all wonderful! One of the best Chinese places I’ve had in my life thus far. The special chicken(kinda like orange chicken) is amazing, as well as the mooshu pork! All of the employees that were there are very nice as well! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! I plan to drive to Temecula just for this place :) lol. Love it!

I wish I could recommend. In a word, «vanilla». To their credit, the food is prepared to order. And, while not bad, it’s lacking in flavor… a common mention in many posts I’ve read. The food simply lacks flavor. Any. It came out hot, it came out neatly packaged to go, it just had virtually no flavor. I see no reason to make a second visit.)-: I just read another review and I concur; every entrée’ tasted exactly the same. Whoever posted that is dead-on…that describes it exactly. Virtually no flavor and everything tasted exactly the same. Not good…

(As stated in check in) This is the best Chinese/American fusion food in the valley. Service was above excellent. Previous comment mentioned their lack of English so I must ask, do you care if Carlos and Manuel don’t speak English well when getting tacos? The family was present, they spoke English better than most teenagers I know, the chef is from China and the chicken and veggie entrée was spectacular. Do yourself a favor and go here! And show a little respect and learn how to say hello and goodbye in Mandarin. Current military? Past military? Let Fanny know. She is very appreciative of service personnel. She might even take your picture. My new«go to» spot for that craving.

We recently moved to Temecula and based on the 4 star rating from Unilocal decided to order from Fanny’s Wok. The first time we ordered we asked for delivery. About 45 minutes later they had not shown up and I am literally 2 miles from the restaurant. I called back and asked on the status because I was sick and hungry. They said they couldn’t find the address on Google and so just never came. I said you had my phone number why didn’t you call? She said the normal delivery girl called in and she doesn’t normally do the deliveries so she wasn’t sure what to do. About 30 minutes later they showed up with the food after forcing the normal delivery girl to come in to work. The food tasted fine and I was starving so ate it all. Now my wife wasn’t feeling well today, and wanted Chinese food again. We ordered the Deluxe Mixed Vegetables with Rice. Horrible decision!!! Near the very bottom of the container, after eating about half of the veggies already,: gag: my wife starts to look sick and tells me to call the restaurant. I asked her why, and she said she found a huge bug floating in the sauce. I immediately felt sick, and pulled what she was talking about out of the container. It appears to be the thorax of a large flying insect with most of the wings and a leg still attached. Oh GOD, GROSS!!! WHEREISTHEREST? DIDWEEATTHERESTOFTHEBODY? AREWEGOINGTOGETSICK? That was basically how the conversation went after that. I called the restaurant immediately and asked to speak to a manager. Apparently there is no English speaking staff anymore and they couldn’t understand what was wrong over the phone, so I told them I was coming back and hung up. I drove straight over to the restaurant and asked them to get me a fork. I then pulled out the huge piece of bug and showed it to the young boy host and the woman running the kitchen. They asked me if I wanted the food replaced… I said NO, I want a refund! This is gross and I am sick to my stomach! So they did end up giving me my refund… I think I probably looked pretty intimidating because I was so upset. I will never come here again and I would NOT recommend to anyone!!! I am including pics of the bug with a dime for size comparison. :(

Ordered food from Fanny Wok for the first time since Unilocalers rated it at the avg of 4 stars. The handmade noodles are delish. I ordered the combination which Didn’t come with all the veggies and meat as they claimed it would come with. Also there’s an extra charge for handmade noodles. The hot and sour soup is very good but on the salty side. Still yummy though. The chicken broccoli is very good but didn’t come with rice. Had to pay additional charge of $ 1.35 for a small white rice. Normally Chinese meat dishes come with rice at other restaurants. Overall it was good. I like trying new restaurants in the area and like to compare. They also deliver for a $ 3.00 delivery charge. So if you’re feeling lazy, there are options in Temecula! Keep in mind the portions are not large.
