Went Sunday for my birthday lunch with 8 friends. It was hands down the worst service we ever had. The place was not very busy but the waiter never checked our table or took our order for a long time. Really spoiled my birthday. Food was okay. I am afraid to go back.

Best joint in town for live music, drinks, fantastic food and a classy yet comfortable lounge area. This is THE up and coming spot of Temecula and is beginning to produce and support the greatest local musicians and talents. Supremely romantic, highly stylized and deliciously entertaining. 5 stars for me. PS: The menu is smaller than before as ownership is changing — it is still phenomenal and you really can’t go wrong with any of their menu items.

This is the BEST place in the Temecula area for food, drinks and life changing live music. Once you come you’ll be addicted. PS it’s not closed… it’s going through rebranding yes, but it’s open!

This is in response to Sara E. Just to inform you that I was a real customer of yours. I don’t know Keith your bartender and I would never take a dig at someone on Unilocal at the expense of taking business away from a local restaurant. I love Temecula and the many local owned restaurants it has to offer. I acknowledge the Operations manager attempted to contact me. However I have said all that I needed to say and did not want to speak to anyone at your restaurant. I believe the the phone number that you are referring to is the number I left you Cellarz93 web site where I also complained about my poor experience at Cellarz93. I could not leave a complaint without a phone number, so I put in a bogus one. I Suggest that you spend your energy on improving your restaurant. Good luck! And FYI now I really will NEVER be back!!! Thank you Unilocal for keeping my real life experience at Cellarz93 on your web site.

On a recommendation we ventured to this restaurant which seems to be in a outside mall with the Lazy Dog Café and next to a Korean BBQ. The place was almost empty on a Wednesday night, not a good sign. I am not a wine drinker so if you are, then maybe its more your scene. Prices seemed a bit high for the area, my C93 salad was way overpriced, others in my party had the Caesar Salad and thought the same. Entrees were up pretty quick, obviously the kitchen wanted to go home, and they were very sub-par. One couple had the Lobster Mac & Cheese and both barely touched it. I should have taken a picture as it looked like a packet mix with flecks of pink, no Lobster could be found. On person had a $ 28 pork chop which they said was very very average and way overpriced. Service was OK, although one persons wine order never came, which is pretty sad for a «wine» restaurant. The Korean BBQ place next to the Cellarz93 was rocking, so maybe next time we will go there instead.

Went there for the famed guitarist Doug Smith this past Saturday night. My wife and I had an absolutely over the top experience. Since we like Syrahs the waitress recommended a Petite Syrah that was outstanding.(wish I wrote down the name) Had a nice cheese & meat plate with it; great combination. If the entertainment, the wines and the service are indicative of their culinary expertise in the dining room, we cannot wait to go back.(hear the paella is superb) Well worth the drive up from San Diego. I’ve been back to Cellarz93 several more times. I have noticed that the service issues seem to have been resolved. The food is still delicious, although they appear to have made some changes to their menu that I don’t love. For instance, I didn’t see some of the items my friends like to order, like the Hummus, and I don’t think they’re offering a small portion of most of their entrees like before, meaning it’s more expensive. They’ve also done away with the Valet, which is NOT good on busy nights, like Saturdays when a band is playing. Parking there can be a nightmare, and now I have to worry about that when planning an evening there. They started doing Karaōke on Sunday nights, several weeks ago! I have sung at a lot of bars, but NEVER have I experienced this great of a sound system! I could clearly, and without effort, hear every«T» and«S» that I sang, and the sound was rich & clean. Without a doubt, this is the BEST karaōke system I know of, so 5 Stars for Karaōke. I still can’t give that 5th Star, unfortunately, because I think they have a ways to go, but it’s still a very nice place.

Been here twice, first time with my husband for date night and the second time with my girlfriends for lunch. My first time was back in December 2012. We were at the bar because the dining room didn’t open up until 5:30pm. So my husband ordered a beer and we had our crab cakes appetizer at the bar. The beer by the bottle was huge and the bartender was very informative because my husband was debating on two different beers. She explained how they were different and helped him make a decision. Our crab cakes, even though it was served at the bar, was very well plated and was delicious, not many fillers and lots of crab meat. Once we were seated, our waitress was very friendly and we got to talking for a bit. She was quick and came to check on us frequently. She even helped me pick my plate, since I was debating on two different plates. I went with the paella because she said it was delicious and I am glad I did, it was very generous with the seafood. My husband got the short ribs and that was deliciosu too, perfectly cooked! For dessert, my husband got the lemongrass crème brûlée, which my husband didn’t like because he doesn’t like lemongrass as a dessert, but he loves crème brûlée. My fruit cobbler with ice cream was delicious though so I ws pleased with my dessert. We bumped into my husband’s coworkers and we talked for a bit before we left. The second time I was here, I came with a few girlfriends and had the lobster mac and cheese with salad for lunch, it was delicious! Very generous with the lobster. For dessert, I had the white chocolate crème brûlée and it was much more delicious than the lemongrass crème brûlée my husband had. The waiter even told me that they took it off the menu.

Upon entering the restaurant I was greated and quickly seated. The atmosphere is warm with dark woods and wine bottles everywhere(nicely appointed). The dissapointment came with the food. I ordered a half dozen oysters. They were served very well with a side of grated horseradish, cocktail sauce and a house sauce. The oysters themselves tasted very good, however they were enormous. This is strickly personal preference, but I don’t want the oyster to be competing for size with my tongue. I ordered the ciopinno(I am confident I butchered the spelling on that). To me, this is suppose to have layers of flavor to it. Mine did not and my shrimp was rubbery. Addtionally, they added a bit of pasta? I did not understand that. Finally, the service. The waitress did this action that I like to call«drive by» waitressing. More than likely a terrible reference, kind of like when people say, they drank the Koolaid. The point, it worked like this, as she was walking by she would ask if we needed anything else or if our dishes were okay. If she did stop when she asked the question it was merely for affect. I found her to not be very attentive, although she was extremely chatty with other tables. Then the bill came. For the experience that I had, coupled with the food and serivce; I feel I was gouged on pricing. The experience simply did not meet my expectation.

What a fabulous restaurant! The entertainment never disappoints regardless of the day of the week. The décor is beautiful. Classy and elegant. The food is amazing. I heard so much buzz about the crab cakes they were first on my list. I was amazed they were so thick and the texture is perfect. The Lobster Bisque I had on New Years was rich and creamy and although there were not chunks of lobster as I had originally thought there might be, there was a delicious lobster flavor. The french onion soup has a caramelized generous layer of cheese over the top and underneath is an abundance of onion cooked to just the right texture. Very thick and delicious. The oysters I had were the first time I’d ever had oysters so I have nothing to compare to. They were very good but they did have a horseradish sauce in the shell that caught me by surprise. The baby spinach salad I ordered I expected to be like any other ordinary salad but I was pleasantly surprised by the sweetness of the dressing and the combinations of fruits used. Very delicious. The Paella ’ 93 my college student ordered, was by far, the best we’ve ever had. I was afraid he was going to lick the plate. He was skeptical upon ordering as he wasn’t sure he was going to like the mussels but I assured him I could handle that problem for him. This dish(Paella ’93) is our favorite so far but of course there’s much more to try and I’m looking forward to my next dining experience at my favorite restaurant.

Got an opportunity to stop by this place on the way home from a fun-filled day of wine tasting in Temecula. I was already wino wasted by the time we arrived, so I figured, why not keep the liquor flowing and keep the party going, right? What else is there? :-D Our order consisted of wine, beer, lobster rolls, crab cakes, & flatbread pizza. Everything was delish! There was also live jazz music playing & the place was hopping! Because it was a few weeks before Christmas, the place was lit up with tons of lights & decorations(as you can see in some of the pics). Like us, everybody seemed to be having a good olé time. We ended up making friends & drinking the night away. Ahh, the good life. Can’t wait to return! :-)

Meh. It’s all hype and price with little kick. The food was just okay. The service was slow and the server was a bit condescending. Maybe we came on a bad night, but we didn’t really enjoy this place. Not a kid-friendly place. Over priced. Our table ordered ribs, planchette linguini, the burger, lobster bisque and French onion soup. The best thing was the lobster bisque! Everything else was sub par.

Excellent! Food was well executed and balanced. Jen our waitress was well trained and knowledgeable. Started off with a crab cake, followed by lobster bisque… yummy. Both are keepers. Entrees where simple but well prepared. Pasta with fresh tomatoes and grilled Mahi Mahi Can’t wait to try more.

I loved Harry’s, but this place is great!!! I have only been here for appetizers and drinks. Will update when I have dinner here. Chorizo stuffed dates wrapped in bacon… amazing!!! Pork sliders are delicious. Although I did not try them, the people we were with said the Lobster Bisque and the calamari were wonderful. I really enjoy wine, however what sold me was the fact that they have a nice selection of craft beer. Black Market, Stone, Lost Abbey, Ballast Point, etc. Nowadays this is how I determine if I am going to eat at a restaurant. They must have great craft beer. The lounge is very nice. Great atmosphere. Woodrock was great. Excellent musicians and very good with the audience. I will be back.

Had a perfect evening at Cellarz 93! We ordered salads to start, my cranberry walnut arugula salad was absolutely fantastic! And for my entrée I ordered the chefs special corn raviolis. They were AMAZING. The flavor was so unique, definitely not what i was expecting, it’s my new favorite dish! My friend ordered the crusted half chicken with garlic mashed potatoes which were also delicious. The chicken was moist and the potatoes had just enough of a garlic taste. For dessert, we had the Death by Chocolate Cake. It was three layers of heaven!!! The food alone was enough to make me come back! But the service put the whole experience over the top!!! Our waiter Tyson was just attentive enough without being overbearing. He was very knowledgable of the dishes and eager to answer all our questions. The owners and famous chef Andrew took the time to stop by our table and see how everything was which was a really nice touch. I have no complaints! I will definitely be visiting Cellarz 93 regularly!!!

Temecula needs more restaurants like this!!! The atmosphere is very-high end with dark wood and dim lighting. A great place to take your wife or date. Presentation could not have been better. My son got the Kobe burger and it was stacked 7 inches high with artisan bread and a generous slice of tomato. I don’t know what kind of sauce they put on it but it was not typical for a hamburger. It came with criss cross fries which were made in-house. It was a $ 14 hamburger and expectations were high but we were both pleased. I got the Hanger steak. It was my first experience with this cut of meat. It appeared a little on the rare side but still good. What I thought was cool was one of the owners, Michael, stopped by my table to see how our meal was and he explained to me that it is much more tender the less you cook it… and that it becomes tough if you cook it too long. Wine list was very extensive. Would have liked to see more local wines; I think it’s important to support local industries, especially since there are so many exceptional wines produced just 5 miles away. Service was very personal. My son was in a pretty bad mood when we got there and our server, Natalie, was all smiles. It took her about two minutes to get my son bouncing in his chair with a smile on his face. He’s only 9 but I also think he’s a sucker for a cute girls. Next time will be date-night with my wife. Conveniently, it’s walking distance from the Edwards movie theater.

Just had an amazing meal at Cellarz93 this evening. I must say that the crab cake was the best I have ever had. Like one reviewer said all crab no cake, large lumps of crabs with an incredible sauce. My husband had the lobster bisque, which was creamy and full of big pieces of lobster. I had the hanger steak, which was a great dish. However, the dessert sealed the whole meal. The Madagascar Pepper Lemongrass Crème Brûlée is definitely worth ordering. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, was that we kept having to ask for utensils.

My wife, my son and I had dinner at the new Cellarz 93 on Saturday and all I can say is — Wow! When you walk in you are transported to what seems to be New York’s newest high end eatery. We started with a glass of wine from an extremely well chosen wine by the glass list. The main wine list is such an unbelievable bargain with a selection that is sure to please the areas wine experts. We were seated in the main dining room surrounded in absolute luxury resembling the finest private club atmosphere. Every finishing touch complete! The menu is a dream. I chose the Lobster Bisque whcih was silky smooth filled with lobster meat and the French Onion soup was delicately sweet and seasoned to perfection. The menu selection left us paralyzed as each choice was so enticing we almost ordered one of each. I settled on the Wild Fish and risotto, which was Sea Bass on Saturday. The dish was a knockout! The creamy parmesan risotto really complemented the firm flesh of the perfectly cooked Sea Bass. My wife’s Filet had a wonderful char with rosy medium rare center. The mashed, demi glaze and Pattypan squash were a perfect setup. Most entrees offer«demi sizes» which was an opportunity for our son to have a great dinner choice instead of the predictable«chicken fingers». Yeah! Kudos to the Chef who has elevated the bar in Temecula! Temecula has been waiting a long time for a chef like Andrew to come along. He has designed a menu that at first glance seems familiar, but upon further inspection delivers in every way possible with inspired flavor combinations. The restaurant’s designer created a sumptuous and classy environment with a comfort level that seems like New York, LA or Vegas! The professional staff that greeted us and served us during our meal was a true pleasure. BTW, our son’s food allergies were handled as well as we have ever seen! This is Temecula’s finest room offering up the best dishes in the valley! We’ll be back often!
