Loved the classic, old-school ice cream shop feel to the place! They sell ice cream, candy, all things chocolate, and novelty items like stuffed animals. They even have a Teaneck version of Monopoly called«Teaneck-opoly» lol. I tried the mint cookie crunch and liked it. Two people in my group had scoops of strawberry and pistachio and enjoyed them too. I’d come back to try other flavors if I’m ever in the area again.

Old fashioned ice cream shop. One of the best. Also happens to have one of the best chocolate egg creams around because of the quality of the chocolate syrup.

best place for ice cream in teaneck in my opinion. Ive never actually eaten here before, i mean really sit down and order a meal but the ice cream is delicious. I come here a lot in the summer. My friends and I usually stop by after seeing a movie from the movie theater across the street.

A throw back ice cream/candy shoppe the I love that the neighborhood has. Had their«Oreo» ice cream with hot fudge and marshmallow. It wasn’t anything fancy and pretty straight forward. I’ve had better ice cream and sundaes elsewhere so it’s really all about the cute vibe.

Horrible customer service, they treat you like they’re too good for you’re business. The ice cream tastes a lot cheaper then it used to but the prices went up. I always try to support a small business but Bischoffs has gone down hill. Take your money to a shop that will appreciate your business.

My favorite ice cream in NJ yet. It has yet to be beaten by any other place. I’ve been going here for 5 years and the ice cream maintains its amazing flavors. I don’t drink coffee but their coffee chip ice cream is my favorite and so is their butter pecan! The seasonal specialties like pumpkin ice cream is delicious and the apple pie with ice cream is great. Also — the owners are all very friendly. Would highly recommend!

The place is in dire need of a face-lift and the service is underwhelming BUT the ice cream! Is fabulous! Super creamy and flavorful! I would definitely go back

Old school soda fountain. The guys behind the counter even wear those paper hats you see on old tv shows/movies. You know a place is a classic when you see it in your history textbook. Also the first place I have ever had a root beer float. Their ice cream is good and you get a lot for the price. You can even get a hot lunch there.(sandwiches mostly). The store also sells lots of novelties, like stuffed animals and chocolate covered everything. They’re near an area with lots of benches too in case you want to sit outside with your ice cream.

This place has the best ice creams. Service is just alright, there’s always someone to help but they could be more friendly(that’s why I am not giving 5 stars). Trying a different flavor every time I come. Will give my output for each flavor. I have tried so far: Pecan Priline which is out of the word along with Chocolate Fudge and Swiss Almond are the top three in my list because I love chocolate and pecan/almonds. Cherry Vanilla: vanilla is very smooth and to feel the fruit chunks gives it an extra. Cookies Crush is extremely good. Heavenly hash: I honestly expected more probably because the marshmallow is too much(if was a little bit melted I think would be better –just a guess)

This is my favorite place to go for ice cream. I have tried many different flavors, but my favorite way to enjoy their ice cream is in one of their handmade ice cream sodas. I enjoy a chocolate soda with chocolate chip ice cream. My husband on the other hand enjoys the ice cream here so much that he can never decide on just one flavor so he always orders one scoop of one flavor and one scoop of another. His favorite flavors include coffee chip and cherry vanilla. The portions are very large, servers are nice and the prices are good. You should try it out, just remember to bring cash because they don’t accept cards.

Huge ice cream fan. This place had decent ice cream. I went with a bunch of my friends and this is the second time I’ve came. The first time I got simple chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and today I go the cookie crush sundae. First of all… I didn’t know cookie crush was an ice cream flavor so I got the wrong ice cream base with it. This place basically is only good if you get what’s good on the menu. I heard the grilled cheeses are good but very pricey. Anyway, I enjoyed my visit but I’ve definitely have had better ice cream. Service is good and quick. Enjoyed the décor and old fashioned ice cream parlor look.

Old school ice cream joint. Definitely one of the best in Bergen. My bf got a scoop of cherry vanilla and I had the coffee cookie crunch and I was in love. Did I mention their one scoop is equivalent to 3 scoops at Baskin Robbins? Huge huge portions. They sell cute little gummy bears, caramel squares, and twizzlers at 10 cents each! Must try their homemades chocolates. Will be back for sure!

Bad service. Very slow staff. Over price and on top of that they only take CASH. I took my wife and two daughters. And we order 3 burgers and 2 ice cream deals. Total was $ 65 Are u kidding me? I would rather spend my money in Friday’s or Applebees. Never come back again … I feel like i was not in NJATALL… Feel like i was somewhere in a shit hole in back in the 80’s. Please dont go and waist your time and money. Plenty of BETTEROFICREAMSHOPSINTHISAREA

I visited this place when I first moved to Teaneck about two years ago, and what a regret. The ice cream was not bad, but did not live up to the hype either. The service was horrific. I ordered ice cream for my wife, two kids, and myself. Once I received my ice cream, and paid, I tried to go sit down inside one of the many empty booths. Before I could step foot near the booth, the rude lady yells out, «you can’t sit there, that is only for parlor service costumers only» I was not explained anything about my different ordering options. If I knew I had to order a certain way ahead of time, I would have done so. Instead, my family and I had to sit on a public bench next to the Provident bank in 90 degree weather. Never again will I subject to rude service! Stay away from this place.

Ice cream is so so soooo good… Mmmmm I’m eating it right now as I write this. This is the only place I’ll come for ice cream while it’s freezing cold outside

Truth: I am an ice cream snob. This place is old school. They have a counter and some booths in the back if you want to eat in, but you can also just get your ice cream and sit outside on the benches on a summer day. It’s not gourmet or inventive, but they know how to make good ice cream. They have mostly traditional flavors, but have some other options like mango and coffee with Oreos. The ice cream is super creamy and is pretty cheap considering how much they give you per scoop. I haven’t tried a sundae or a milkshake yet, but it’s on my list. Hands down, best homemade ice cream I’ve had so far in Jersey.

The mint cookie crush is my favorite ice cream of all time. From a reward after the soccer game to an after dinner delight– this is my favorite ice cream spot since I was a kid.
