I’ve been a regular here for six years now, and recommend it to everyone I know. These are some great folks serving the best mariscos in Utah. I love everything here. It’s all so authentic and flavorful. Amazing shrimp tacos, both regular and governor style. Tasty fish taco, ceviche tostada is always piled high. combo enchiladas are delicious, stuffed with loads of scallops, shrimp and crab. A few other things I’ll mention, their fish soup and refried beans are excellent. Their rice is usually a little dry but tastes decent. Salsa that comes with their chips is spicy and flavorful. Prices are higher than average and their website menu conveniently leaves prices off, but flavors like this cannot be found elsewhere locally. Menu keeps growing, I need to try a few new entrees, plus they now serve Micheladas. Dining room has a lot of character and is kept clean. Bathrooms are spotless. Owner is very nice and accommodating, service is spot on. I still love this place as much as I did the first time I visited six years ago. I always go late since they’re open until 11pm Friday and Saturday nights.

We moved to Utah from Southern California about 8 years ago. After all this time, we finally found a place that we love! Just walking in, hearing the music, smelling the food, and admiring the clean, fun décor, we felt like we were home. On a yucky, snowy February day, we were California dreaming with our delicious ceviche tostadas and seafood enchiladas. The ceviche tostadas were really well-balanced. My husband doesn’t usually like ceviche because he finds it too tart, but he really enjoyed these, especially with the generous heap of fresh avocado slices on top and hot sauce. His Enchiladas were rich and delicious. We decided the our two dishes paired well together, with fresh acidity of the ceviche complimenting the rich sauce of the enchiladas. My husband said the red rice reminded him of the rice his Nana used to make and it made him nostalgic and happy. Great experience, great service. Will be back soon!

Clean restaurant, prompt service, and decently priced for food proportions. I’m not much of a seafood person, so I got the chicken burrito. It was a pretty standard chicken burrito smothered in sauce. Probably won’t go back

The shrimp tostada and the fish taco was ah-mazing! We also ordered the mixed coctel and shrimp nachos. Complimentary chips and salsa is provided when you sit down at the table. The horchata was a bit too sweet for me but it was pretty tasty overall. There is a slight language barrier with speaking with the servers, but we got through it pointing at pictures in the menu. Food is a little overpriced, but it’s a seafood restaurant in Utah. Maybe I’m asking too much.

The only reason this place doesn’t have 5 stars is because they don’t have wine, but I had a Michelada so I was somewhat happy. Three words: Friendly. Authentic. CEVICHE. Now go forth, and stuff your face.

They have live music on the weekends. Great crowd and food. Best place to get some Mexican seafood. We’ve had their family meals. Great price for all the food. I always order the tostada mixta or the coctel with shrimp and octopus. The place has their own parking space and is super kid friendly. Totally worth the drive.

Just left after sitting with no service for over 10 minutes. 6 patrons in the whole establishment. Will never return

Huge menu full of many different interesting items that I am unfamiliar with. Service was awesome, very welcoming and on the ball. We loved the ceviche, it was huge and was great to share! The fish soup and prawns were both excellent, my brother’s seemed to love the items they ordered as well. Can’t wait to go back and try some more delicious items.

Took my husband here for his first time. I have only been one other time. It was so good the first time I came. The second time even better. Good service and fresh. I love the Mexican Coke they serve. We wil def be back! A little pricy but worth it.

I’ve been here a few times, and usually get their enchiladas. Their shrimp enchiladas are really good. I’ve had better enchiladas, but these feel more authentic. Today, I tried their fish tacos. I really enjoyed these and it was my first time having fish tacos. This comes with rice and beans which are really tasty. I always forget, but Mariscos gives a consommé with each dish(I believe), so it was a pleasant surprise when that was brought out to me. Their chips and salsa are also really good. The downside, if you’re eating in and not to-go, the service is a little slow even when it’s not busy. Usually after you get your food, you expect the waiter to come back around and ask if everything is okay and refill drinks if needed. I was given my food, then the waiter didn’t come back around until I was finished and waiting on a to-go box. It’s also pretty expensive for what you get. Two tacos with rice and beans, consummé, fountain drink = $ 15 All in all, I’ll still keep coming back. Especially for the fish tacos again!

Great! Had the mixed Seafood Ceviche and Seafood Burrito, both excellent with lots of the goods! Reminded me of the first time I tried Ceviche at a seaside café in Rocky Point.

The food was sooo good. Lots of flavor. It’s a bit expensive but it’s because we ordered off their seafood menu. We needed help ordering because the menu was in spanish. The cashier didn’t really speak English so she had a younger guy help translate. It was a fun experience. The food was fresh and tasted great.

Carne asada tacos were good, really pricey for what you get though. Clean and fast service. Probably won’t be back due to the price.

Delicious fish tacos and salsa and chips. Good service, too. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that the beans and rice were a little bland. I will be coming back to try more dishes!

Had the combo enchiladas. Very delicious food. Service was friendly until I received my food, then it was non-existent. Had to ask twice for a drink refill after it sat empty for far longer than acceptable. When I ordered my meal I informed my server I would most likely be ordering a dessert. After getting and eating my meal I sat with an empty plate and was ignored for over 15 minutes. Server walked past me many times stopping at all the other tables multiple times but ignored me. Curse of being a single diner? I dunno, it happens so often. Curse of being a pale white gringo? I hope not. Regardless, being ignored for so long after informing my server I would be adding a dessert to my order gives me reason to not come back. I wanted to give you more of my money but you refused to take it.

So I want to give this place 4 stars because the food is 5 star worthy. However. The experience was a tad uncomfortable. I do not speak Spanish. There was a time in my life when I considered learning, and I somewhat regretted it walking into this place. We walked in and could feel all these eyes on us immediately giving us the olé«up and down». We picked the least threatening look table to sit at and waited. The server spoke perfect un-accented english but didn’t seem happy to do so. My husband had a chicken burrito and I had a seafood chimichanga which I must saying was FABULOUS. What brought this from a 5 star to a 3 star was that I wouldn’t feel comfortable returning… So sad.

This small little Mexican restaurant is truly a wonderful stop for authentic awesome food. Menu is in Spanish and English but I saw mostly Hispanic people in there which is too bad because you can’t pass up food this good. The salmon Diablo was incredibly delicious and I have not ever had it this way. We also had great fresh Oysters on the half shell and butterfly shrimp. The tomato based soup had a nice zing to it also. Beer only. Great mariachi band plays there also but I am not sure of their schedule. They were playing when we arrived. Miss this and it’s your loss.
