After visiting some businesses in the Taunton area, and coming down this way to the new Walmart, I decided to order a pizza from this Pizza Hut. I LOVE Pizza Hut and don’t really have have one close to me(closest to my house being 15 minutes away!). So I made the order. The guy in the phone was very friendly, very helpful, yet asked WAY too many questions, most of which I don’t get when calling Papa Gino’s or another pizza parlor. No I don’t want deep-dish or anything with thin crust, just a REGULAR cheese pizza. Anyway, besides that, the experience was superior. I’m going down Route 138 and see the sign for the Pizza Hut, great, I JUST called in the pizza, there’s NO way it would already be ready. Now, the funny thing is. I parked in the lot, but the place REALLY actually, surprisingly LOOKED closed. There was no action WHATSOEVER throughout the entire restaurant, now I guess not many people really eat in at a Pizza Hut, but there wasn’t even a staff member behind the checkout area. After finally noticing the«OPEN» sign that was lit up(that needs to be re-ordered, by Pizza Hut, the lights are not very visible), I tried opening the door, and it was unlocked, which I probably should’ve done first, but still, it looked as NOONE was there. Anyway, both of people working(didn’t get their names, one guy and one girl), were efficient, kind, and friendly. My pizza was ready within a few minutes of my arrival, only a few minutes after I called! Great service provided by the Taunton location. They additionally gave me a magnet with coupons, a take-out menu, and some additional coupons for my next visit to either this or my Pizza Hut. Plus, the inside of the restaurant was very clean and modern(in comparison to my tiny Pizza Hut in Hyde Park), and provided a few tables for sit-in eating. Overall, great experience and besides adding a NEW open sign and not asking as many questions on the phone, this Pizza Hut is doing everything right, especially with the amazing staff. Located on Route 138(Broadway) in Taunton, at the Washington Street intersection. Definitely a good place to stop by if you don’t feel like going all the way down to Route 44, or 140.

I was so happy to see a Pizza Hut in Taunton when they first opened. It’s a nostalgic taste from when I was little. I’ve tried this one 5 times. Each time I have gotten very sick unfortunately. Stomach cramps and very upset tummy. I gave them one last chance today and within 20 minutes after having it for lunch, I feel terrible. Never again. Be careful here, some things not ‘clean’ about there establishment.

Food is actually pretty good. I think they changed sons things. My favorite out of dominos and papa Gino’s. When we were here at least three customers came in saying they screwed up their orders. They didn’t give us one of our pizzas and it wasn’t even on the receipt. I’m but sure if the system is messed up or the people working there aren’t super bright, but that needs to be fixed.
