This is a really nice neighborhood coffee shop. We came in just before 10am on a Saturday and there was a constant flow of customers many of whom seemed to know each other. We started off with a couple of lattes which were nice(maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10). Had the quiche(today’s was spinach and peppers if I recall correctly) and it was super. We got some drinks to go. The pour over coffee was nicely done and the iced lavender latte that I tasted was really good too. The operators handled the constant flow of customers with grace. They greeted each new arrival and let them know that it might be a few minutes

The lavender latte is like a taste from heaven. My favorite place in Tampa for coffee, lunch or a great conversation.

Unexpected delight. Perfect spot for an incredibly delicious latte and bite. Cozy atmosphere. I got the lavender latte and my daughter the salted caramel. Not a lot of seating so go at an uncommon hour.

Great little coffee shop tucked away in South Tampa. I had a cinnamon roll latte, which was delicious! I went with a group of friends and we didn’t realize they closed so early, which was a little bit of a bummer. We took a big table in the back(not a lot of seating available) and then were later approached by a barista and told«usually people who sit at this table order food.» As we are poor graduate students already ordering drink is a treat, and we felt guilty and uncomfortable the rest of the time there not ordering food. Overall though I would go back for the latte which was delicious and the vibe was very home-y.

I am originally from Tampa but have moved for job purposes. With that said, even when I come into town for just a day or two, this is where I eat breakfast. The espresso is so good and the food is delicious too! The ladies are an absolute delight and they make you feel like a friend they have known for years, even on your first visit. This is a must try!!!

Had a wonderful day studying here. This is a quaint, cute and cozy café. The staff is super friendly and the food and coffee are both excellent. So far I’ve tried the mocha latte(definitely recommend!), the quiche and fruit, and the yogurt parfait(must try!). All the food and drinks are made fresh to order, no soggy crust or granola here! Only downsides are that the space is somewhat small and can get a bit crowded, and that they close at 1pm! Wish I could stay and study here all day, but I’ll continue to come back for more productive mornings!

The absolute best coffee in town! Dawn and Marie are so knowledgeable about coffee, friendly and warm. They make their syrups in house and you can really taste the difference! Love the lattes and the food. My favorite place to go meet up with friends.

Library Coffeehouse has wonderful, unique syrups to make delicious lattes! So far I’ve had a hot and cold lavender latte and loved both. Next up is ginger, and I want to try several others as well! The barista(maybe the owner?) is very friendly and nice. Only downside to me was the quiche… I thought it lacked all flavor and the crust was mushy as it was reheated in the microwave. I saw them making eggs in the microwave too, which made me sad… but I guess you have to do what you can with limited space! The latte prices aren’t cheap but are worth the cost for the unique flavors. Recommend!

Love this place. Small place, with delicious food, and even better coffee. Ginger, lavender, coconut lattes are all amazing the ladies running the place are very hospitable. Definitely a must go coffee shop!

Before we moved, this my husband and I’s favorite spot for a delicious coffee and a bite to eat. I loved their side of fruit as well. The two gals behind the counter were so warm and friendly(in the best way for an eatery — not overly so). We miss them and the delicious coffees they serve up. Highly recommend stopping in!

Had the Borgia latte with orange zest and nutmeg. Very good. It’s a small place and cozy. However when they start cooking the smoke is every where because of the small place. Good wifi and pleasant workers.

Best authentic coffee in town. The way coffee was intended to be! The food is simple, it’s not intended to be a culinary experience as much as the food is intended to simply compliment your incredible cup of coffee. However, the fresh baked pastries, that vary by the day are always outstanding. Dawn and Marie, the owners, are true gems! They care deeply about their patrons and have very loyal regulars. The place is very small, but it is everything that is right with a real local business in Tampa Bay! Make sure you know that they are not open Monday & Tuesday. And occasional holidays they shut down.

Found this place through Unilocal and the good reviews are accurate! This place is has really good coffee and fresh bake goods. I had the Coconut Mocha latte with a warm lemon coconut muffin. The only downside is that to this place is that it’s a wee bit small. Dont get me wrong I love small, cozy places but this is just a little too small. It would help if they had outdoor seating. But if you’re just here for quick bite to eat and delicious coffee this is the place to go!

Came here for the first time. Very friendly customer service. Price is very fare. Food is excellent too! Very small but very cozy. I will definitely bring my wife here for another breakfast or brunch. She will love it!

Comfy, Cozy and Crafty! The 3 C’s and 5 stars that I will give Library Coffehouse. I absolutely adore this quaint coffee shop. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles by the owners. They were busy taking orders and making meals yet they still greeted you. A plus in my book. The coffee shop is extremely small so seating are limited. I wouldn’t recommend coming with a party of 5 or more but arrangements most likely could be done. The coffee itself is delicious. Tasteful, pungent and the aroma of the coffee is just delightful to ones senses. Coffee art here is very beautiful here as well. Along with coffee, I ordered the eggs, ham and bacon. Nothing too spectacular about the breakfast meal but the atmosphere and coffee surely made my experience at The Library Coffee House a great one.

Lavendar latte, iced. It strangely works. The lady working told me people either hate it or love it, but I was somewhere in the middle. I’m still not quite sure I enjoyed the floral taste with my espresso, but I wasnt adverse to it and appreciated the novelty. I sipped over it during my stay which was quite a while. I was surprised the library café didn’t have any books, but I understand. It’s not practical in terms of space. However the table I chose had a lamp which encouraged reading/writing. I loved it. Had their quiche. Today it was spinach and mozarella. It was delicious, but you can tell it isn’t as flakey compared to its glorious inception. Again, small space and probably not great forms of reheating. Forgivable. The quiche doesn’t make this place. The interesting coffee choices and atmosphere makes this place. Patrons came from the earliest hour. They read, they drank. Excited to come back and taste more.

Tried our first meal here, and it was delicious. We are vegetarians, and to our surprise, there were a few options for us. We had the Gouda sandwich on Cuban bread, and I had the coconut mocha latte. So so good! We’ll return for sure next time we are in the area. Only negative, is that I wouldn’t have recognized the location as a coffee shop if a local hadn’t brought us there. It’s in a small plaza with little advertisements…

Great atmosphere here but very limited seating. I had breakfast here once and ordered their scrambled eggs and bacon. It was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. The eggs were watery and the bacon was microwaved. But their lattes are amazing! It is definitely better than other chain coffee places. I’ll just stick with getting coffee here.

I’ve been on a really insane coffee binge lately; I’ve fought with detoxing from caffeine overload. The Library Coffeehouse was one more stop on the«DRINKALLTHECOFFEE» adventure. I had the place bookmarked for forever but kept finding myself in the area on the days they’re closed or too late in the afternoon to stop in. Finally, a Sunday morning, and I was in the area. «This is it!» I thought. FINALLY. After messing up and ruining too soon, I circled the block, and pulled into the lot. My friend and I were the only people besides the lovely ladies who served us. The inside is really quaint, and definitely not spacious enough for groups, but perfect for someone who wants to get some work done. I spent a couple minutes trying to figure out what I wanted because they don’t offer a specialty latte sampler and I wanted one of everything… And two of a couple things. It’s not very often I deviate from simple latte, but I picked the lavender one. I was also eyeing the borgia, salted caramel, cardamom, and ginger ones. The lavender latte was perfect. At first it confused me, but two sips in and it won me over. It was the right amount of floral, with a delicate flavor that this sort of thing deserves. By the time I finished it off, I was really sad this place is almost an hour drive from me. Last but not least, the ladies did a little digging for us when we asked about specific types of stores in the area. This was miles above the call of coffee and snack-making duty. I was glad to see more people flow in after us to keep them busy. Now I just need to figure out when I can go back for the rest of their menu!

OK. Ive been hesitant to write a review for this place because I selfishly want no one else to discover its greatness. This is a true mom & pop local coffee shop. Its a dimly lit, quaint ittle shop with known regulars and the SWEETEST service! Of note, the menu is more extensive than a local coffee shop which makes them even more special! ohhhh & they make DELICIOUS latte’s! oh, oh & the food– makes you feel like you’re at grandmas! Homemade quiche, light & fresh sandwiches served with chips or fresh salad! Truly, DELICIOUS. The only downside is that you gotta leave :(Just when you get situated and forget you’re not actually at home, you have to pack up & get going… but not without a sweet smile and«see ya later» to make you smile on your way out(JUSTLIKEATGRANDMAS)!
