I’m kind of in love with this place. I had the crab cake on a Cuban roll. I have to admit that I don’t want crab cake often so can’t really compare it to any other but it was delicious. The Cuban roll was crunchy outside and chewy in the center. They make their own romulade(and other sauces that I’ll try next time) that accented the crab cake really well. I skipped the Kettle chips and had a house salad instead. This salad has blue cheese, candied walnuts and home made vinaigrette. Perfect on a hot afternoon. Stone(the proprietor) was very gracious when I admitted that though I like wine I have no idea what I’m doing and talked me through a couple of options and treated my crab cake sandwich choice with as much seriousness for pairing as any big meal. He also let me sample the seasonal beers. The SouthernTier Pumpking is fantastic, especially since they rim the glasses with a cinnamon and brown sugar concoction. Take care though, this delicious combination is higher alcohol content than your average beer so sip and enjoy.

After trying & loving the Toast in Lutz, I decided to give this one a try. It was nice & had the same amenities as the Lutz location, minus no Hector. I only stayed for 1 glass of wine & could have very easily been convinced to stay for several more, but just wasn’t feeling it on this evening. Overall with feeling at home & having fun, Lutz location. But, I have only given it one try & feels it deserves a second try, so I’ll hold off on making a final decision. For now 3 *, with room to grow. What’s a girl to do? Love the vine and location is secondary.
