Our buffalo chicken wrap, Caesar salad wrap, and peanut paradise smoothie was exceptionally good. Laura made all 3 items (Akeemian, who was very pleasant, took our order). You know how you get used to your food just sort of thrown together? Well, I have eaten at plenty of Tropical Smoothies and while the food is always good, something about the way Laura put our food together made all 3 items taste extremely good. If corporate is looking for a trainer, Laura could teach others her obvious excellent techniques. If Laura is working, double my order!!!

Menu is nice, variety of smoothies and food selections for a great snack. Place is clean. Customer service is kind of a bummer because the ladies can use unprofessional language at times and don’t look so happy to be there.

I was craving a peanut paradise smoothie and drove all the way here during lunch hour traffic. Line is out the door and restaurant was full of people just waiting for their orders. Line moved pretty quickly and within 5 – 10 minutes I was ordering. Then came the wait. I ordered a Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wrap and Peanut Paradise smoothie to go. I received my wrap within 5 minutes. My smoothie took much longer and I was contemplating leaving without it, just so that i could make it back to work on time. Finally they called my name and gave me my smoothie — it was the wrong one! I said «Oh I don’t think this is mine.» The girl then repeated my name and said «yup, it is» and walked away. I did not have time to argue, wait for a refund or for them to remake me my correct smoothie. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Great sandwiches but had to send my smoothie back because it wasn’t sweet. I’ve never had issues with any other locations so it was a bit odd. The second one was a bit sweeter but not that much.

This chain is my new obsession for «fast food». I love to stop in and get a Thai chicken wrap and a smoothie. Sooooo good!

This is one of my favorite places to get a healthful smoothie or quick snack when I’m in a hurry. Leon, the owner of this location of TSC is very pleasant and personable and remembers most of his regular and repeat customers by name. I think that’s generally unheard of in this day and age and I appreciate his hospitality and warmth. I also like that he gives back to the community and donates to local organizations as evidenced by his community board in the restaurant. Great job, Leon.
The smoothies and snacks I have gotten from thus location are always fresh and made to order. I like that I can customize menu items without issue. I always ask for smoothie to be made without turbinado but Splenda is a substitution option. The workers are diligent and work to get orders out correctly and efficiently and are also pleasant.
I have tried some breakfast wraps from here and the quinoa bowl and have enjoyed everything. I like that Beyond Meat strips are able to be substituted for chicken in wraps which offer chicken as a protein.
I enjoy trying the seasonal offerings. My recently favorite has been the beet smoothies without turbinado. I also enjoy the Avocolada.
Kudos to Leon and staff for keeping a tightly run operation which yields quick treats. Thanks for providing me solid nutrition in a pinch and for being friendly and pleasant while doing so.

Great place for a smoothie and a wrap. Keep it healthy and simple when eating. A Lot of options for smoothies make sure you add immune and multi vitamin.

First time at this specific location and loved the greeting upon entry and the upbeat energy of the employees. They demonstrated great teamwork and hustled to get people’s orders ready in no time. I went with my favorite, Rockin’ Raspberry because it’s the perfect way to cool down and refresh. It consists of raspberries, strawberries, and bananas. It comes in a good size cup for $ 4.59 after tax. I really liked that he asked if I wanted a receipt… huge fan of saving paper… we all know those receipts end up in the pocket of your car door anyways! I haven’t tried many of their food options unfortunately, only the spinach and feta wrap… highly recommended especially if you’re vegetarian too! The location is prime. It’s right across from the TD bank on Dale Mabry. It’s specifically off of Neptune. Parking can be crazy because there are many other restaurants surrounding Tropical Smoothie. I found a spot within pulling up. It just depends on what time you go. The staff bring your drink or food directly to you, which gives them an A+ for effort and customer care. Overall, very satisfied with the energy of the employees and the service they provided. Thank you! Xo

My first visit, won’t be my last. Love all natural smoothies & use the often as meal replacements.
The visit to Tropical Smoothie was a delight. Staff was friendly & knowledgeable.
Ingredients were fresh & smoothie was made to order. When I am back in that area, I will defiantly return! Good eats.

First time here today for National Flip Flop Day. got a Free Large smoothie! It was delish!

I love the smoothies here and the food is excellent as well! I’ve been going to this location since i moved close by a year ago. The manager here is super friendly and very genuine. He always tries his best to remember everyones names.

I usually enjoy tropical smoothie but today at this location I was disappointed. The staff didn’t know what any of their menu items were and were unable to just give me a wrap and a smoothie. Luckily the food was good. Thai chicken wrap with just enough spice, the chicken was crispy and cooked perfectly. Mango magic smoothie with protein was good.

Me and my boyfriend have been a huge fan of tropical smoothie, it’s healthy, delicious and leaves you feeling nicely full. This particular location though I enjoy the most because it’s very clean and the staff is super friendly. The manager here knows how to run a business and how to bring people back! 10 stars :)

I really enjoy this particular location of Tropical Smoothie Café. The staff are very nice and the manager seems to know the regulars by name. It’s great to be addressed by your name and asked how your day is going– I enjoy the personalized service.
As far as food goes– I really enjoy the half a sandwich and a smoothie deal. It’s only about $ 7 and there are lots of smoothie choices. I usually get the Acai Berry Boost or kiwi quencher smoothie. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich is the best– I get it every time!

After years of coming to this Tropical Smoothie Café because they are so friendly, my most recent two trips have cemented them as the best in town!
Last time I visited I called ahead to ask if they could take my order over the phone. The gentleman was positive and cheerful as he took my one smoothie order. Breezing in and out without waiting made all the difference that day.
And today’s visit topped my last. This morning I went in wanting one particular smoothie, as the woman began making it she noticed they didn’t have enough/​the usual amount of carrots. She asked if I wanted the original order with the few carrots they or if I wanted something different. She was very patient while pursued the menu looking for an alternative. Within a short amount of time the substitute was made. …That was all simple enough and how I would expect customer centered service to be provided… what was the figurative cherry on top was that she gave me a coupon for a free smoothie to make up for not being able to make my original request. Thank You Tropical Smoothie S. Tampa for taking your commitment to service one step further!

I usually dash in for a smoothie to go (working on filling up my 5^th card) but today decided to stay and have a Jamaican Wrap. As I mentioned in the tips section knowing their customers by name is an area they excel in. Leon not only enjoys and invests in his customers but he treats his employees the same. It is a treat to come into such a welcoming environment especially nowadays when it seems in other places that the waitstaff or counter people are miserable and don’t want to be there. Give Tropical Smoothie Café a try and I bet a smoothie you will be a repeat customer.

If you haven’t tried it, the guava smoothie is great. Last time I went it was not on the menu but they were still able to make it for me.

This is the best smoothie place in south Tampa. Leon the owner is great and the Triple Berry Oat is their best smoothie. If for any reason your not satisfied with your order they will redo it with no questioned asked. Come by and say hi to Leon and he’ll never forget your name.

Such a friendly staff and they genuinely seem like they enjoy working there. Every time I eat here I feel like they really appreciate my business. Today I had the Baha Chicken Flatbread with a Blue Lagoon smoothie. They could probably dice the veggies a little smaller for the sandwich (my onion pieces were huge) but other than that it was delicious. The seating area is clean and bright and it is a great place to meet a friend for lunch. I would not recommend for a business lunch.
