TGI Fridays

I love TGI Friday’s. Period. It’s ALWAYS a dream come true whenever I visit any of their franchise locations and this was no exception. The hostess was quirky, funny, amazing and attentive. The food was deliberately awesome and tasty (as always, it’s always Friday in here!!).
I tried the French Dip sandwich and lemme tell you, if you’re a meat lover who likes it all classy, then this sandwich is for you. Succulent sliced beef with horseradish (?) sauce and melted provolone cheese inside accompanied by the French onion soup style dip. Oooo la la. J’aime beaucoup! Always get it with a side of fries to feel a little bit American too: P
Overall great food, great atmosphere and great service.
P. S. I have lived in Dubai and TGI is huge there so the menu here was different as well which is a GOOD thing. Variety rules the world!

Good TGI Fridays. Makes a good addition to the airport and makes it seem more homely.

Typical Fridays restaurant. Waitress was super nice, service was quick and food was good. Would eat there again.

Worst. Ordered a ribeye and a beer. Took a few sips of my beer and my ribeye promptly arrived. Cooked ok, covered with some sugar sweet concoction, OK this is their thing. I take a bite and it’s as tough as a strip. On closet inspection it was not actually even a ribeye. Told a server I think they made a mistake and they brought me a strip. He tells me that is what their ribeye looks like. Well, it’s not a ribeye, called for manager and he said the same and asked of I wanted something else, we’ll not if you can’t tell a basic cut of meat from another. Asked for tab, brings me 8 dollar check for my beer and I realized I only took a few sips and now need to eat elsewhere as I have a plane to catch. Told him just to comp it, since they wasted my time and he was not inclined to make it right. I paid the tab, left the almost full beer on the bar and walked over to Carabba’s. Fool me once. You reminded me today why it has been years since I frequented TGI Friday. I will not soon forget.
BTW Carabba’s got some good soup.;)

I have been to a lot of TGIFs but this one was by far the best. Our waitress Danielle was AMAZING and swift.
The Bartender I could have married!!! He made me a Henny and Strawberry… It wasn’t syrupy, it wasn’t overy sweet… it was PERFECT!!! So perfect I had 2 before my flight. (Glad I wasn’t flying the plane… LOL)
If you have time… Definitely stop in and have a drink or 2. :-)

Wow! I just had the most PERFECTLY cooked omelette in my life– huge, plump. Not dry not undercooked (4÷23÷16−−10 am). Slowly patiently cooked at exactly the right high heat, a good pan but most of all a seasoned genuine cook who understands timing, when to shake, toss turn, how not to overload, what temperature the ingredients inside need to be. Yes a LOT of parameters, and a great deal of experience.
I ate this magnificent Southwest omelette with my beloved daughter as we SO happily (and uniquely) spent our last hour TOGETHER … Inside this well designed airport eating breakfast. What a treat to do this at an airport !
Then 3 days later I returned ate alone on their «patio» = coolest place to eat (temperature), and had a delicious French dip sandwich plus a Cobb salad to go. Delicious fresh concentrated onion soup was the au jus sauce. Bread light but not large nor thick enough. (wd be a snack for most famished men). But flavor was excellent. Price was good. Cobb salad was excellent with huge chunks of baked seasoned chicken thick cooked bacon (4 strips thick), and fresh great vegetables. Lettuce was perfect. Ryan (thin 5’7″) was a 5 star waiter ! Absolutely w b back!

Excellent waiter. Fantastic music playing just loud enough to still have an intellectual conversation. Jack daniels burger tasted like a succelent bite of heavan. Also a great cobb salad. Their oreo madness dessert was an excellent way to end the meal. The only bad part was not being able to eat any more of their food.

The staff provided excellent service, but I would also expect that at an airport. The food was quality as always, and the atmosphere was nice. Sitting outside the restaurant was oddly relaxing given the foot traffic. I was able to take care of business on my phone as well without interruption. If I am ever stuck in Tampa again, this is the place I’m hitting up for food.

I don’t think I’ve ever given one star. Service was good but the Memphis ribs were very bad. First time I could not finish or even come close. Wedge salad was not so good either. Nice atmosphere but I will never eat here again. Writing this review to remind me.

Service at bar was good. Nice male bartender w/​prompt service. Here’s the catch; beers are 9 $. 9 $ for bud light at a chain, ok I just won’t drink here; ever.

Absolutely horrible. Food had no taste. Had wings and potsticker appetizer. How can you mess up wings, zip favor. Had a pecan crusted chicken salad. Like eating grass. Please go somewhere else.

Waiting for my hubby to fly in from Miami thought I would grab some food to go so we could eat on our way to Post 14. I was greeted immediately by two gentleman at the from door and choose to sit at the bar.
Although extremely busy the bartenders (2 ladies) were very attentive once I placed my order I would estimate it took about 15 minutes to receive my order. Pretty decent considering the amount of people. Chicken fingers and fries :) not bad!

Went to grab a snack before my weekly flight. Was moved from my bar seat since a Bears fan wanted to watch his game. Then had to listen to the knowledgeless dickhead ream me about my attitude. Will never eat here again. Way to support the local folks, generic, worthless, food source, TGI Fridays.

Excellent food for a chain restaurant. They have one of the Best Wedge Salads I have ever had from a non independent chain restaurant. Also great sandwich and salad combinations.

Greasiest burger I have ever had. I mean, I wasn’t expecting much from a chain place in the airport but it still was bad. Could have changed the oil in my car. My brother’s was greasy as he’ll also. French dips turned out ok. Only plus is that service was good and fast.

Good place to get a few drinks and some food before jumping on an airplane. A typical US TGIF :-)

Really good for an airport restaurant. Let’s face it, it’s still a TGI, but good food in a pinch. The service was really good, smiles and welcomes from every direction. Food was quickly served and pretty good. I had the pecan crusted chicken salad and I would get it again. Price was a bit higher than I would have liked, but it didn’t break the bank.

If I’m comparing TGI Friday’s to TGI Friday’s…this is my favorite of the bunch.
The food isn’t any different from other locations, but the clientele is. The food is always pretty decent IMO, but you get an immediate upgrade in patronage due to the fact that the only diners are ones that are flying somewhere.
The service here was also attentive and great with their descriptions and recommendations. They also seem fairly knowledgeable about their spirits, wines and beers.
I’d definitely come back as I’m passing through.

Famished– mixed grill & Sam Adams. Perfect!
After a long food deprived day this was the perfect combo with mashed potatoes and tomato and mozzarella salad.
I sat «outside» which was very nice as it was more quiet.
Robyn was my waiter. He was prompt and very nice.
Seated near me was a very young traveler that was enjoying sipping water with lemon from her Mom’s straw. Beautiful young family.
Ready to continue my travel.

I LOOOOVE This TGIFridays! The food is always great and the staff is wonderful, including the Management which are always there to make their customers happy.
You can’t go wrong with any of the Jack Daniels menu items, the JD Chicken sandwich is sooo DELICIOUS, so are the burgers & ribs… also a favorite is the Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad with avacado! Also, The Broccolli & Cheese soup is the best!
I eat here quite often and am always VERY pleased!
