Lovely spa! The space is superbly clean, beautiful, and I absolutely love the vineyard/wine influence throughout. My therapist, Don, was amazing. His professionalism and overall bedside manner were absolutely on point for a high-end spa. Favorite part: I received a glass of wine following my massage. For perhaps the first time, I didn’t mind leaving the massage room after my 50 minutes were up. :) Four stars in lieu of five only because I found the spa spaces quite small. In the locker room, there is not adequate space to change clothes before the treatment or after a shower. Unless I missed a changing room? Also, they provide hair items(blow dryer, etc.), but the only space to actually do your hair is at one of the two sinks, which puts you right in the flow of traffic. I can only imagine how tight the space would be if there were several people in it at once. The waiting/relaxation area was also small for what seemed to be a normal Saturday. Four clients had finished their appointments and were enjoying their wine. I walked in to find that there was a nice spot on the couch. But then within five minutes, two more people had entered the room, and one woman was left standing. Lastly, the treatment room was tight. The door nearly hit the bed. Not a biggie since you really are just there to get on the bed, but it was probably the smallest massage room I’ve been in. I would love to return because the massage was heaven and the wine was icing on the cake. Next time I probably would just shower at home.

I have had multiple massages & body scrubs from this Spa. SOGOOD I ended up leaving the current place I had a spa membership with & changed over here. The service is good but the therapist really hit the spots you tell them to concentrate on, working out your kinks. Can’t wait to schedule my next massage and get back there sooner than later!

Why 5 stars? Because it was the perfect place to celebrate our engagement. — — — I had mapped out how I was going to propose, about 9 months before it actually happened. That part, was going to be relatively easy. But what would I do post-proposal to celebrate? Even just 3 days before hand, I had no idea. Luckily, someone was super-clutch on my behalf, and mentioned a spa day! Yes! With it being July 1st, and my proposal happening on the morning of July 4th, I had to find a place with availability in less than 72 hours, AND on a holiday. A long shot? Yes. But Spa Evangeline came through big time. I went with a package that included a couples massage and pedicures — but it was so much more than that. Upon arrival, they made us a framed photo congratulating us on our engagement.(Unfortunately, our dog ruined it, but that’s another story!) We were then led into our dressing rooms, where we were given lockers and robes. Who wouldn’t want to wear a robe while at a spa celebrating your engagement? And then as we waited for our massages, they offered us a bottle of champagne and some OJ. All of this was just a bonus and not at all a part of what we paid for — so a big thanks to the spa for hooking it up! We then enjoyed our massages and pedicures. Both were incredibly lovely, and we were offered some Makers Mark to sip on, as the final perk of the morning. Side note: if you’re a dude who thinks pedicures are only for girls, you haven’t experienced life, my friend. All in all, we had a great experience here. As it would be no surprise, this is not a place to visit while on a tight budget, but they also go above and beyond. If you’re thinking of popping the question anytime soon, or celebrating an anniversary/birthday — this would be a great place to do so!

He hotel was amazing! However– the spa experience was pretty bad… I setup a spa day for my boyfriend, after a long day at the theme parks. I wanted pedicures for us(simultaneously). However, there was only one technician available. I wish they would have told me that when I booked the appointment, because I would not have agreed to it. My boyfriend sat there for 30 minutes while she did my feet, and then I sat there while she did his(which took a total of almost 2 hours because she had to go back and forth a couple of times). It was extremely unprofessional that nobody told me there were not two therapists available. My toes were chipped by the next day by the way. Also, the«champagne soak» was not explained to me as a service that would be charged. The receptionist explained it as something they could«throw in». I would not have paid $ 65 plus gratuity for a simple bubble bath. We would have preferred to just jump in the shower and then do a 90 minute couples massage, instead of 20 minutes in an uncomfortable tub. I was very unhappy with the spa experience, with the exception of the massage therapy portion. The lack of communication about the champagne soak and only having one pedicurist was something I’ve never experienced at high-end spas before(especially for a total of $ 500). I was greatly looking forward to this because it was my boyfriends birthday surprise, but was frankly very disappointed.

This place got it right. So many spas get it wrong. So I am now officially adding this place to my spa repertoire, along with Spa Sudeva. I am EXTREMELYPICKYABOUTEVERYTHING, and even more picky about spas. They must be immaculately clean, darkly lit and the therapists must be gifted(my massage therapist Rae was excellent). Spa Evangeline exceeds all of these criteria. If I had to nitpick about one thing, it would be that I would prefer Spa Evangeline to be darker, have less lighting. Especially in the treatment rooms. Basically when I go to a spa I want to feel like I am back in the womb, curled up in the dark and being pampered. Spa Sudeva does a better job at achieving this, but Spa Evangeline is excellent. If you are looking to gift someone with a spa experience, get them gift cards to Spa Evangeline or Spa Sudeva on Ma\cDill Ave.

I love trying out new spas and was really excited to finally get to try out this one. I was not disappointed. I only had a massage, but it was wonderful. I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the spa. It’s very small, peaceful and intimate.

Great spa experience — also great for groups, did a 30th birthday party with 7 girls and the Spa Manager, Lindsay Garcia, helped out so much and made it very easy, relaxing experience! Will definitely be returning!

I had a facial at Evangeline on my birthday. What an amazing start to my day! The facial itself was wonderful. The spa was soothing and very relaxing. My asthecian(sp?) Karen was professional and informative without being stuffy. If you are in the SOHO or South Tampa area, this is a great new spa. I will be back!
