Ehhhh I had the chorizo burger with no bun. Super over cooked. It was the equivalent of a gas station hotdog in burger form. Saddest looking chorizo and slice of cheese. I still have a nasty after taste. No coleslaw available as they were out. Chicken tortilla soup was good.

Not a lot of options in concourse C and we were starving. The hostess told us it would be 40 minutes, but only took 20 – 25. We all had bbq or burgers, pulled pork was good, burgers were dry. We were there at lunch time and they were out of fries, sweet potato fries and silverware??? They fried my wife’s burger with the plastic wrap still attached to the patty and plated it that way??? Our server Matt was great and quickly got her a replacement and didn’t charge us for her meal. If you just need to stuff some food in your gut before a flight, this is as good as any in concourse C. Don’t expect Shula’s steakhouse quality.

Waited 30 minutes for a burnt burger and soggy fries. Great that they claim they use chuck, short rib and brisket, «never frozen » .maybe frozen would be better, more difficult to burn. By the time my server, Debra, delivered it, there was no time to complain, not that she ever checked back to see how it was. Shouldn’t take nearly 45 minutes to grab lunch in a nearly empty airport restaurant. Did I mention the dirty glass my coke came in?

Ok ok I know another Airport place of course it’s gonna be expensive. Fruit and yogurt granola was like 14 bucks. That’s stupid expensive. It was good though. Nothing amazing but good. They did a great job in making sure we caught our flight so hats of to them there. They even asked us when our flight was before they sat us. My wife enjoyed her bacon and eggs. All and all was a decent little bit to grab. Just priced a little high.

I was so hungry I neglected my cardinal rule of checking Unilocal first. I regret my decision. Ordered the Caesar salad with the market fish. I ordered the fish blackened. If the iron skillet is hot enough and the chef is paying attention, it is difficult to overcook it. They failed at one or both of these aspects and I was left with dried out, like beef jerky tough, fish. So this will reinforce my four star Unilocal reviews or keep walking.

The crispy chicken bites are to die for. Goes nicely with a 9oz white wine. Lovely view of the charging station. Best spot in Tampa hands down.

Pros: No wait time. Great server. Perfectly seared scallops and asparagus. Great mango salsa. Decent coleslaw, not over sauced. Key lime pie tangy. Whipped cream real. Food well presented. Décor pleasant. Cons: Mojito was watered down. Steak was over cooked, waiter put in a new one, and then undercooked. Was told, «They were probably trying to get it out in a hurry.»

I don’t ask for a lot when it comes to a Caesar salad; particularly if it’s at the airport. However, I still managed to strike out here while on an extended layover in Tampa. Long story short: My chicken Caesar showed up with all yellow lettuce that was overdressed. The chicken was dry and overlooked. However, there was a silver lining. The blue cheese chips that I ordered as an appetizer were delicious.

This was a good burger, and the ability to add a party for 3 dollars is awesome — I ordered the black and blue burger w/2 extra patties and no bread. Delicious — slaw was decent too, a bit sweet for my taste. Overall a good airport experience, and the service was very friendly from Alberto.

I didn’t actually eat here but I accidentally sat in their seating area next which is all jumbled in wth Quiznos. I was halfway through my sandwich when the waitress(older angry lady) informed me this was only for the bar. Had she informed me with a decent level of respect that any normal human deserves, I would have gladly packed up my things and left. However, she was very rude about it. A bit of customer service can go along way. And looking at these reviews, they need to be extra nice to make up for the overall customer dissatisfaction.

Had breakfast there this morning and the food was fine. The service was weak. Restaurant wasn’t full but it took a few minutes to get seated. Placed my order for breakfast and had to ask about it after 15 mins because others seared after me were served well before me. Had to ask for a coffee refill. Experience was odd because the restaurant was 20% full.

Came here while waiting for my flight. Their breakfast menu has many options compared to the other places in the gate. I was able to make my order diet friendly with the vegetarian omelet and swapped hash browns with fruit. The service was pretty fast and friendly.

Points for the bartender who was funny, but the food was pretty bad and overall service was pretty poor. Can I get a napkin or something? C’mon. If I am ever in the Tampa airport again I will make sure to eat before or after or anyplace else. Not too many options in that part of the terminal unfortunately.

The friendly hostess coaxed my 5 friends and I into the restaurant to grab Togo drinks knowing that we were boarding in 15 – 20 minutes. She promised us we could quickly grab our drinks Togo and take them with us on the flight. We get our drinks… To the tune of $ 73 plus tip and head to our boarding line. We get to the ticket lady and she makes us throw out our drinks immediately. I took one sip from my drink. We were totally disappointed. I left message with the restaurant team lead, Anthony. Waiting for resolve of the situation. WARNING to all travelers: you can take your drinks to go in the terminal. You CANNOT take them with you on the flight. Don’t make this expensive mistake. Very disappointed in the staff for Misinforming us as they work at the airport and SHOULDKNOW airport & flight regulations.

Surprisingly good burger for an airport restaurant. On a layover, my girlfriend and I stopped in and sat at the bar. We had a great bartender and she did fine work making sure our water glasses were filled and checking back to ensure we didn’t need anything else. We ordered the Wine Country Burger with roasted peppers, goat cheese, balsamic greens and roasted tomato. The burger tasted excellent although the patty was slightly overcooked. Drinks are airport priced but you can grab a shot with your beer for an extra $ 2. Who knows when I will be at Tampa for a layover but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Shula’s Bar & Grill at Tampa International Airport is one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat in Terminal C. I have dined at this airport location on multiple occasions over the last two year. The food is pretty good for airport food, but this location does not compare to the original Shula’s on Kennedy. I prefer the lunch and dinner menu over the breakfast menu. On the one occasion that I ordered breakfast here I ordered the scrambled egg platter that came with toast, home fries, and bacon. The bacon was the highlight of breakfast. It was thick cut and nice and crispy. The scrambled eggs were not that great and were rubbery and tasted like they came from a buffet, but I just dumped ketchup and pepper on them and they were edible enough. The coffee was excellent and my husband’s Bloody Mary was tasty. My favorite items on the lunch/dinner menu are the salads and the flatbreads. The salads are huge and I haven’t been able to finish one by myself. The flatbread pizzas are pretty large as well and can easily be shared with two people. If you are looking for a pre-flight cocktail I highly recommend the strawberry lemonade mojito. This cocktail sweet and tart cocktail is deceivingly strong! Service can be hit or miss and the menu prices aren’t cheap at Shula’s Bar & Grill, but this is still one of the better dining options in Terminal C.

I come here almost every time I’m in this terminal because my mind tells me this is the best option and I have been disappointed every single time. They for the 4th time now never get the blue cheese chips right. Either the bacon is burnt or the forget 1 of the 3 ingredients in the dish. Today I had the lobster bisque. It was cold. I didn’t eat it. The server said she was going to remove it from my bill but didn’t. I paid the check. But I’m not going back… And I’m in the airport at least once a week. I’ll pack a lunch before I eat there again. Shula needs to do some quality control.

Upscale and priced to match. Probably the best glass of wine in Terminal C, with their wine bar. Stopped for breakfast and a had a small appetite. Hence the fruit platter at a steak house. But I had a clear view of my gate. The Bloody Mary was good ish, not mind blowing. Little disappoint in the old lime wedge and mushy tomato. Service was on point. Overall, very nice if you are ready to spend $$$.

Stopped for a BBQ burger and fries before my flight. The sea salt fries were good and served with ketchup and bbq sauce. The burger wasn’t cooked enough, to the point i couldn’t eat it. The server offered to request another burger but I didn’t have enough time to wait before my boarding time.

When the best part of your burger is the fries, I’m not sure what to say. Perhaps«order the fries!» or «eat before you come to the airport, dummy!» On the positive side, the restaurant was inviting, had a ton of big screen tv’s to watch sports stuff, a well stocked bar, and solid service. But, that burger. Sigh… They didn’t ask me how I wanted it cooked, which is a major warning sign for a $ 12 burger. It came well done, dry, tasteless, unseasoned. Ketchup could not save it. Shula’s steak sauce couldn’t save it. Shula’s hot sauce admittedly helped though by numbing my taste buds.
