I remembered when this was a seedy, Asian-confused step child who also adopted hamburgers into a phonebook-sized menu(when it was still aka Crab-B-Q). Now I’m impressed. THEFOOD Asian restaurants with a majority of Asian patrons is a good sign. I suggest skipping the lowly buffet and aim for the menu dishes or dim sum– well… most of the dim sum(and noodles) didn’t seem freshly made(chewier than normal) but I can’t complain about the taste of anything I’ve eaten. Each ingredient stands out in flavor yet complements its flavorful brethren. I’d definitely go here for REAL Asian food before any of those«American-ized Asian» restaurants but give a pause between this place and other«homely-er» Asian establishments. LOCATIONANDSERVICE While the tables often have the love of cushioning butts, the bar in the back doesn’t seem very welcoming. The entire layout of the restaurant seems… odd somehow. Not match-y… but I don’t pay the typical dinner of $ 7 – 12 just to stare at decorations. The servers are always serious but get the work done. From seedy Crab-b-q to the welcoming North Sea Village… great restaurant for Asian fare.
