Food was good. We ordered butter chicken, garlic naan and medley biriyani. Everything was delicious. Waiting time was long.

Everytime I try a new Indian Restaurant, I usually go with the Butter Chicken because it’s always a safe pick. For the price I payed tonight, I found the Butter Chicken to be good but not as amazing as I anticipated it to be, based on the raving reviews. I found it to be a bit over-seasoned. It tasted good, but I’ll definitely be trying something else next time.

Best indian we’ve had in town. The butter chicken is fantastic, as was the samosa. Howecer, I did find a bone in my chicken, so chew slowly. Place was clean and nice inside.

A drive by will not favor you to stop in, but trust me, it’s worthwhile! Excellent menu choices with lots of seafood options and if you want it hot make sure you say«Indian hot». Chicken tikka masala and butter chicken are two of our favorites.

Really glad I found this place when in Tampa recently! Lamb vindaloo is great: made with a rich, dark sauce. I might subtract half a star for it being very salty, but that could have been a one-off for the night and I’ve only eaten here once. My coworker ordered chicken curry and also liked her meal — I was too hungry to waste time taking many pictures! The place is already on the small side but was packed when we went for dinner on a weeknight. Plenty of people getting carry-out too. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others in the area.

Amazing !!! Me and my friend drove by and wanted to dine in, when you walk in it smells wonderful and we are immediately greeted, I ordered the spring rolls and garlic naan and the flavors were so so great I asked for spicy potatoes it was not on the menu but they surprised me and made it happen that was truly great. The baby eggplant in coconut curry sauce was the best, and my friend had the chicken tikka masala he loved the flavors together. We will be returning !!!

I’m always excited for Indian buffets for lunch! Especially when they have new things for me to try! I was near a different office for work, so I decided to give this place a try for lunch. There was a lot of options on their buffet. More sauces than I usually see at my usual Indian restaurants I go to. I couldn’t find my favorite butter chicken. They had a lot of vegetable dishes which were good. A few sweet dishes that were different as well. I really liked the pistachio jasmine like drink they had for a dessert option. What kept my review to a four star rating… They didn’t have a lot of seating, so it felt crowded when it got full. The bathroom was clogged in the ladies room, and I had to be the one to report it… They only had one server running the lunch, so at times I would need to ask him if he could bring some more water.

I’ve been eating indian food my whole life, this is by far the best indian food in all of Tampa bay! I won’t be exaggerating if i said its on my top 3 best indian food ever! The portion: at first it seems like the portion is a little, but take it from me. When you start digging into that rice & creamy sauce just make sure they have boxes so u can take what’s left to your home! This restaurant is so underrated. I think i like it this way because whenever i go its not crowded and i get an exceptional service. But for real with such delicious food. This place should be packed 24⁄7 but as i mentioned. No one knows about it.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice! That’s exactly how I would describe a meal at India’s Grill! Came here for lunch on the weekday and it was. There’s plenty of parking on the side of the building so it shouldn’t be too difficult. There’s also a giant sign in front on Kennedy so you can’t miss it. Sugar — Okay nothing was that sweet, but let’s put savory in here instead of sweet. There were a lot of choices, everything from butter chicken to saag paneer. Everything just blends so naturally. I would suggest trying a bit of everything. The savory taste does really come through with most of their dishes and mmmmm I could swim that curry all day long. Spice — With all Indian food, you’ll get some pretty bomb flavors with a hint of spice. India’s Grill does a perfect combination of spicy dishes vs no spicy dishes to satisfy everyone’s craving. The different chicken dishes have varying spice levels so check before you drench your naan in that sauce! If you really love spices, this place is for you. Everything nice — The staff members were very friendly and constantly checked up on us. I couldn’t have asked for better service! Overall, a great experience! The buffet deal for lunch is also worth every penny. $ 9.95 to get a total tour of Indian cuisine. tl;dr — I would definitely stop by and try the food here. If you’re new to Indian food, go for the buffet so you can try a little of everything!

Food here is pricey, but always excellent. Love their new location. For Take-out customers, it is sometimes awkward as the counter in the restaurant area kind of meld together. Their lunch buffet is really good and very filling. The buffet is probably the best deal on the menu. Buffet usually has a great selection of Indian cuisine. Some of the best Indian food in the Tampa Bay area!

Very good indian restaurant that my wife likes as best in town. We went for dinner expecting buffet… but dinner is still a la carte Some of the apps with pretty pricey, but loved the very spicy Mongolian cauliflower and its ample portion. Our mains were mango chicken and curry shrimp, both fine with basmati rice. Naan cost extra bu the garlic version we had was super. Good service and very light trade at 5 pm on a weekday.

I was conflicted on how many stars to give this place. One the one hand, the food makes it 4 stars, easy. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. So, I went with three stars to encourage you to get food from there, but maybe order takeout instead of staying in. Starting with the good: The food is seriously good. I can’t vouch for how authentic it is, but it seems authentic to me. The vindaloo dishes are nice and spicy if you think you can take it, but the tikka masala and the butter chicken are safe standard bets if you’re worried. The naan is delicious(I’ve tried both the garlic and the normal) and I believe it should be ordered with every meal. Even the rice, as simple as it is, seems especially good. But the service in my experience just hasn’t been great. Maybe it’s because the waiters were inexperienced, or maybe it’s a cultural thing, but it’s a bit of a problem. I took a friend here and the waiter interrupted us three times in the course of 5 minutes to ask if we were ready to order. It wasn’t until I told him that we would probably need 10 – 15 minutes to settle in and decide what we wanted to order before we would be ready. My friend ordered a white wine and received it at room temperature. And I saw them refrigerating some reds. So hopefully they figure out that they need to switch those two situations. But other than those problems, I really can’t recommend the food enough. I hope you try it, just maybe pick it up instead of eating in.

Indian grill has been in my list to visit for some time. We know the best time to visit has to be lunch time all you can eat buffet. I have not have a weekday lunch time to do it until the Labor Day off. Parking of the restaurant are only a few adjacent to the restaurant. They do have additional parking at the back. The restaurant have a few seat on the outside and some at the inside. The buffet display great selection of meat which I like. I am not a vegetarian and this is fit my appetite. The stand out dish is the tandoori chicken and the curry chicken. The tandoori chickens is well marinated into the meat in comparison to many restaurant in the Bay Area. I like the curry chicken due to their heavy Indian spice like the one I have in Malaysia.

Very tasty. A cozy cheery spot. Went for dinner and had the; saag paneer, excellent the daal fry. Good but not distinctive And the manchurian/sweet and sour cauliflower. That was the star of the show. I wish the cauliflower had been blanched a little before frying as it was a little hard, but great flavors. So much better than the standard goopy boring rendition, this was lightly fried and lightly sauced, but the sauce had a good kick! Wifey couldn’t eat more than a bite. They used both white and red onions in the dish which was a nice touch. Service was SO friendly, but a little slow. I was bummed they didn’t have the dosas as I was really Jonesing for one. Excellent spot for Indian in Tampa.

Why 4 stars? Because I enjoyed a very unique experience. — — — Indian food is definitely what I am most ignorant on, out of all the mainstream cuisines. I basically know nothing about it, and have probably eaten it less than 5 times in my life. I eat out constantly, but I felt like a fish out of water trying to dissect this menu. Enter, my colleague, who doesn’t live here, but is an expert in all things Indian cuisine. He was kind enough to send me an extensive list of recommendations ahead of time, so I felt incredibly prepared for my experience. But then… a MASSIVE curveball was thrown by life: there was a buffet! I felt alarmingly confused about what I should do. Sure, I could eat from the buffet… but I had a list! What if things from my list weren’t offered in the buffet? The labels on the buffet weren’t the most legible, so it was tough to make out what everything was. I asked the server/hostess if I should just order off the menu, but she seemed to think of that as a silly question. Her attitude was, ‘why not buffet, bro?“ So buffet we did. I knew what exactly ZERO of the items were, but I pretty much plopped at a small portion of every item on my plate. As confusing as this was for me, I’m glad to report that everything was tasty! We ended up ordering a couple of items off the menu, and everything was great from that source as well. We went with the Samosa Chaat, and the yogurt-y Mango smoothie to cool off the heat, post-game. The samosa chaat’s «crust» was very interesting — it was almost sweet like a gourmet ice cream cone or something along those lines. And the smoothie was extremely thick, but definitely did the job of calming down the mouth spiciness. I would love to come back for dinner — especially with someone who knows what to order!

This review will compare India grill’s lunch buffet to the new curry leaves that now resides at IG’s(India’s grill) old location. Why? because they’re 10 mins apart. This is called life and I’ll keep it real. IG is much grittier. They cook with bone and fat. Their food comes out tastier, but also greasier. The goat curry was their stand out, but chana and chicken tikka masala were underwhelming. Tandoori was cooked perfectly. They had other vegetarian dishes that were alright. Unlike curry leaves, IG had fluffy nan and basmati rice. IG also had better dessert. Ok. IG has the more authentic feel and more varied selection. Everything was good, but I wasnt blown away again. In my younger days with my iron stomach I would have gone with IG9 out of 10 times. These days I’m more health conscious and I value food that goes down well. I don’t think the food was worth the exorcism I needed later.

Worst eating experience of my life. I have ate there before and the food was okay for Indian buffet food so I will give it 2 stars I went in for lunch. The place had no air conditioning. There were flies everywhere including on the food. I went to the bathroom and when I came out, they already put away the buffet. The food was barely okay. For Indian buffet food it was considered average which means it is bad Indian food. The food were old and very watery. The taste is very bland and doesn’t have that pop you expect in Indian food. The bathroom is clean. Waiters are friendly but have no eye for needs.

We came to eat at India Grill’s new location. Much better than the old place, no gas smell. It’s nothing fancy but the location is great and the food is good. We ordered garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, Chana saag(spinach and chickpeas), bhagare bhaigan(eggplant dish), Punjabi Chana masala, and some other chicken dish. Everyone loved the food. It was hard for the waiter to understand us at first but he was very nice. After our meal, the owner greeted us as well. We love very spicy food so it wasn’t spicy enough but regardless it definitely satisfied our craving for Indian food. They only thing I was disappointed about was that there was no red onion chutney. I hope they start making that one day. The tables vote for favorite dish was chicken tikka masala. All in all, it was a great dinner that we all enjoyed and we would all come back!
