I just had the worst breakfast of my life at this place! They put a month old Cinnabon on a plate covered with whipped cream and threw a few banana pieces to call it cinnamon French toast. They didn’t even bother to heat up the Cinnabon, it was hard rock!!! Don’t even talk about the omelette my husband ordered, it was a compilation of raw eggs and cold veggies inside. I was really hoping for this place to be good as it’s so close by but what a train wreck … Would never ever go back there!!!

I would read this BEFOREGOING to Geoffreys! Now I know this is a little long, but none of what I am saying is fabricated or sweetened up in any way. Jeff(the owner) is an absolute lunatic and out of his mind. During my 3 weeks with him working there it’s hard to put words on what I seen/experienced. First off. His fresh bakery?! NOTSOFRESH! He buys bakery and bread from publix and other stores then brings it back, portions it out, then claims it as his own. Followed by an up charge. Yeah, that’s exactly how most bakery\eaterys are right? I don’t think so. I was asked to do this many times. Also, the fruit flies in the back are insane. He yells at and treats all employees like they are scum of the earth. He claims we do a bad job of cleaning because he sees fruit flies. You know why he has fruit flies?! Because he’s so cheap and wants to save on garbage bags that we take garbage cans with old food, drink, cooking scraps and dump them all into one. Re using the original bag in the can! And leaving it for the next day, and the next day, and so fourth. Clearly a Heath code violation. After it was time for my paycheck to come. Jeff lied his ass off and made up all this about me and when I started during the pay period. Now I have already read that he’s been sued and reported to the division of labor for non payment of wages. But he seemed so genuine so I continued working anyway. After payday came and no check for me I called the division of labor. As I was on the phone explaining my story, the nice lady cut me off and said«are you talking about Geoffreys» I was shocked. How can he be doing and getting away with this?! She explained that federal law only protects those who handle cash\card transactions and the BOH employees aren’t covered. Jeff must know this because clearly it keeps happening to people. Now. Let’s talk about Jeffs underlying desire for young boys. Now it was made clear Jeff was a homosexual on day one, why? Because he told me all about his ventures with what he refers to as «little gay boys». And how he decided to «switch teams». He on NUMEROUS occasions crossed the line with me! Telling me how I was«undercover» meaning I was gay but lying about it.(Mind you my fiancé was 40 weeks pregnant and the baby could come any day. He knew this) He would tell me on the weekends about how he goes to strip clubs with straight men just to bring home straight men, and have sex with them.(He offered to take me with him and pay my way, clearly I knew his intentions) Now I am not homophobic. But when your a straight man and a gay man makes advance, after advance, after advance on you its hard to take. He mentions one time while have the closet door the storage open«hey if you walk in and then back out you can say your finally out of the closet» he on numerous occasions showed me pictures of young men to which he refers to as his«boy toys» I can safely say that in my 26 years I have held many many jobs. 10 years in the service industry, and never have I been treated so poorly. I hope this man gets what he deserves in the end. I hope that what has happened to me, and the ones before me. Doesn’t continue to go on, that the proper agencies take this piece of shit down. Moral of the story; if you want bakery, you can just go to publix because that’s what your paying for. And obviously if you choose to work here, you won’t be paid. Period.

I love the coffee here. The owner is wonderful. The atmosphere is casual. They always have amazing flowers for our clients. They do parties as well. So friendly with great service. I’m so glad they’re in the neighborhood.

Today we decided to try out this relatively new restaurant. When you walk in, you are greeted by beautiful flowers(available for purchase). The tables are ornate, maybe a little fussy, but I love fussy. I had one of Geoffrey’s signature coffees. It’s a hazelnut/vanilla blend which was sweet enough for my tastes but not overwhelming for my boyfriend’s distinctly less sweet palate. He ordered a turkey wrap and I ordered French toast. Both came quickly to the table and were tasty. Mine also came with a beautiful fresh flower. I won’t say that the French toast was the best I’ve ever had, but it was yummy. My boyfriend felt the same about his wrap. For the price in the usually expensive Channelside district, it is a great option! I even got to meet Geoffrey himself!

First time here. My family and I were heading to eat Thai food. We drove pass and see the pretty lights from the outside of restaurant. It lured us in and we were curious to find out if the food is good. I really liked the deco, very warm welcoming from staff. The owner came to our table and introduce himself and brought his chef out to tell us what’s on the menu for the night. The food is very good. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and services from staff and the owner himself. We will definitely come back with friends…

We live nearby and stopped in to check it out after realizing they sell food along with their floral arrangements. We ordered ice coffees(very good) and a few items from their breakfast and bakery menu. Their strawberry muffins were amazing and they prepared one of the better Belgian style waffles I’ve had in a while. It had some kind of strawberry sauce on it and came with a fresh flower on top. Also the waffle breakfast was HUGE. Two large waffles. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. They also have the space very neatly designed and decorated. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is woth visiting. The staff was very friendly. The food was really good the coffee was great. I think they need advertise on social networks because this place needs to be known. They have high quality pastries and the background music is really good. Highly recommend it.

I have been waiting for something awesome to go into the space after Le Mouton Noir left(tear). What I didn’t expect was this train wreck! Clearly the owner has no taste– it looks like a bad prom threw up in there! Purple light-up tree, horrible linens, ALUMINUMFOILSIGNAGE! I wouldn’t buy a bottle of water here much less stay around for a cup of coffee! And now several reviews about the owner being rude to employees??? With luck his disaster will close soon and a serious business will come in(please??? Someone???)

So unimpressed with the owner’s behavior. He creates an environment that is impossible to digest food in. Won’t be back for that reason alone. Waitstaff was nice and a little embarrassed. I imagine there will be a lot of turnover here. Hard to get any consistency that way.

Living in Channelside, it is always nice to have another food option. My fiancé and I popped in for a quick coffee and we were pleasantly surprised about the great service and impressive ambiance. The fresh flowers and beautiful décor really sets this place apart from most. There are cozy couches and chairs, along with tables to sit and enjoy a meal. Marc Anthony came to our table and brought us fresh cups of coffee multiple times before our mugs ever got empty or too low. The versatility of this place has great potential — for a great coffee place, brunch spot, special event dinner or just a quick bite.

This place is just ridiculous. First off, the owner couldn’t be any ruder to his employees. Secondly, $ 7 for a latte, $ 5 for espresso… Those are just a few examples… Get real! Third, the place looks like they went to ikea and slapped the place together. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped in as we live nearby. Signage isn’t great and at first you may not even realize they sell food. Don’t make the mistake of walking by. GREAT bakery items(i had a strawberry muffin that was really good.) and many other breakfast and lunch items. We also tried their waffle breakfast which was HUGE. Two large Belgian style waffles with some kind of strawberry sauce and powdered sugar. One of the better waffles I’ve had in a while. Definitely worth a visit!
