Underground Network

We went here for an improv show that I read about in the paper. Only $ 5 is perfect for a date night. I tried to read about it more on their website but it’s a bit outdated. The ‘Underground’ I believe is a church that also shares the building, but the improv calls their separate stage «The Box».
There’s a little coffee bar inside and a couple couches to hang out on until it’s time for the show. The room with the small stage only seats about 40 in three rows of old movie theater seats. Fairly comfortable.
The show was funny and the comedians performed in a short-​form style, which is similar to «Whose Line is it Anyway». I’d give the show 4*, but the venue itself 2*. It needs some work.
The shows don’t always run and they just finished their summer series. If they would market these a little better, I think the place would be packed.

I just went once so far. It’s interesting. I will have to go back to give a more in depth review. I had a Hot Chocolate. They made it with steamed milk and Hersey Syrup. It looked comfy but I need to do more research.
