Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed eats yet! Well here it goes… I came here on a Friday night and it was full. It’s not a very big place and its self seating. It seems like a lot of families and regulars come here judging by the conversations the servers were having with other patrons. They offer a lot of groupons and cldeals as well. Judging from there menu they have been on several food network shows as well. It looks like they condensed their menu from the last time I was here. Now it is just one sheet front and back. It used to be like a book with several pages. I am not sure if they took some things away or not. For starters they give you a basket of home made chips with this delicious sauce. I haven’t figured out what it is yet but it’s kind of like thousand island dressing. I have tried their fish tacos before and they are very good. I usually get the mahi and it comes with two sides. I opted for the baked sweet potato and the house salad. Don’t get the sweet potato taters they are weird tasting IMO. I wish they had sweet potato fries though. This time I got the mahi fish sandwich. It was okay… they offer blackened, grilled, and fried. I chose the blackened. I have to say that the fish was dry though but the flavor was good. Maybe they should not cook it as long. I do recall when I ordered their chicken burger it was dry too… hmm may be a pattern. Overall from the other things I have had I had a good experience with the servers and the food. There are many options on this menu to satisfy the all American appetite.

First and last time eating there. horrible service and horrible food. Everything I ordered was sitting in a pool of oil. The tomatoes on my salad were previously frozen and extremely soggy. I couldn’t believe they would even serve that to me. To make matters worse the Mac and cheese had a long blonde hair right smack on top. After addressing this to our waitress she snatched the food from me and walks always without apologizing.
Not only is that disgusting but that type of service is unacceptable.
The rest of our visit she gave me attitude and told me that it was actually nice of the cooks to remake it for me. Ummm what? This was not my fault! I will not recommend anyone to waste their time or money at this establishment. Completely disappointed

I am lucky enough to live close to Eats. It is a diamond in the rough. The food is great, drink deals are awesome (and strong) and there is always something going on there. I wouldn’t give this place less than 5 stars because I have never been disappointed and I have eaten here over 20 times. The waitstaff is experienced and fast. I have only had to wait a bit longer than usual for food once. That is the diamond part.
I will say that it gets pretty loud and I really wish that they would update the décor to more of a concept. not a «hit you over the head» kind of concept, but just a little less weird pink walls and random pictures hanging about. It is a great place with awesome food, so I feel they should match that. That is the «in the rough» part. Since décor really doesn’t matter that much, it is still 5 stars for me. See ya soon, Eats!

Are server, Brittany, was great and very attentive. However the food took an extremely long time to come out. Once out the meals were great. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and it was awesome ;-)

It’s Burger Week here in Tampa and the $ 5 burger deals are devine! Tonight we tried the Red, White and Blue burger at Eats in South Tampa. Our waitress was Sam and she was efficient and fairly friendly. My drink was refilled promptly and boy did I need it. The Red in Red, White and Blue means HOT! Tasty hot, but hot nevertheless. The onions are cooked in their signature heat sauce and they are like a firecracker on the 4^th of July. The burger itself was nicely medium, maybe just slightly closer to rare than I am used to, yet still yummy. Fries included for five bucks, what a deal. Stop here for a burger, you will be happy you did.

I’m from out of town, Southern California to be exact, and when my South Tampa sister had me staying with her, she just had to bring me to this joint!
She told me all about the tasty wings and much more. Naturally I couldn’t say no.
Walked in and the environment was light and airy with tvs on the walls showing whatever games were on, but people seemed to be here chatting away and enjoying the food. The bar was being run by whom I overheard was the owner and our waitress came right over to check on us when we chose our seats.
My sister and I split an order of wings and I ordered the Mac n Cheese and a side of Sweet Potato Tots with the Rum dipping sauce. All super delicious and cooked perfectly!
Service couldn’t have been better and food tasting awesome, just couldn’t have gotten any better. Thumbs way up at this place.

My dining experience at EATS! was awesome! The food was spectacular. No questions asked.
Just when I thought sweet potatoes couldn’t taste any better… I find out sweet potato tots exist. I wish I could get a gallon is these yummy little balls of deliciousness… it was so good. I could have easily eaten myself into a coma. lol
The burger was also cooked to perfection. We ordered it medium well and it was just the way we like it. The shrimp and corn chowder soup was delicious. We got a small bowl but after gobbling it up I wish I had gotten a large. lol
You wont regret trying this place. Sometimes they have groupons so check that out!

I love Eats, but this location is not their best. I’ve eaten at Eats many times, but only twice at this location.
The parking is a little tight. The building is old and rundown, and has an odd layout. The service is hit or miss, and the cleanliness is okay (on a good day). I didn’t get the house-​made chips I usually get… huge bummer, because I love those things, and my Coke was flat. Also, our waitress kept disappearing for long periods.
With that out of the way, let me tell you about the food. The burgers are outstanding! I’ve had two burgers from this location, and they were both awesome! Aside from the burgers, I’ve also had a side salad, the Shrimp & Corn Chouder, the «Bite You Back Shrimp», and the Blackened Mahi Fish Tacos. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and fresh. I want to try other things on the menu, but it’s hard to resist ordering a burger when I come here.
Also, they have a bar, several TVs, and have music while you dine. The prices are reasonable, and on Mondays, they offer a $ 5 burger. Overall, I had a good experience. The food is outstanding and worth coming back. The sweet tea is pretty good too.

Came here with my boyfriend for lunch because we had a Groupon. The homemade chips and sauce they served us were delicious. The chips were so crunchy and warm! We ordered the Sweet Chili Wings, Garlic Parmesan Wings, and Eats! Original Chicken Burger. My favorite item was the Garlic Parmesan Wings which were really crispy and buttery. The Sweet Chili Wings tasted like they just poured a bottled sweet chili sauce over it. The Chicken Burger was cooked well; not dry at all. Our food came out at a reasonable time. I will definitely be back.

Seems like I update my review on Eats once a year and nothing changes.
Tonight, it was as busy as I’ve ever seen it and I barely had any time to catch up with the great bartender Danny about our favorite things (golf, Big Brother and all our common friends from those vintage Stadium Bennigan’s days).
Seemed like everytime I looked up there was a new party of two, party of four or party of eight hanging around the bar waiting for the next table to open up.
This place is no secret. The drink specials are very good and the menu is delicious.
No, the room isn’t very big and there isn’t a lot of room to move around in there, but what Eats offers from a staff that really hustles is obviously worth it.

Why oh why have I not been here sooner?
Have tried them at a few different Unilocal events… well. One day, it just dawned on me and SO glad I could finally experience it.
First off, sitting at the bar, the bartend-​ress was quite fun and nice. She offered me a taste of the Lazy Magnolia brown ale. Oh did I really like that. So I had 2.
And she brought us some homemade chips with dipping sauce. Yum.
For lunch I had the naked pineapple mahi… salad turned sandwich! On a fabulous bun. It also came with a nice crisp fresh side salad.
The hubby had a classic cheese burger with bacon. Oh, it looked really good. And he said it was even better than it looked.
Monday is $ 5 burger day! Toppings extra. Will have to return just for that, if nothing else.
Lots of tv’s, nice bar, great staff, outdoor seating out back. Parking is in the back.
Come to EATS! I certainly will again.

I tried out Eats! after seeing their deal on Groupon and was not sorry. Everything we ordered was great but the parking lot was awful. If more than a few cars are waiting for spots then the line is out to Dale Mabry. After waiting to drive out of the lot we ended up parking next door. It was a Friday so the place was busy and we ended up at the last available table.
I liked that they had Yuengling on tap although the bartender was a little slow getting it out. My girlfriend didn’t get her drink until after the food arrived. We both loved the chips they brought out and the sauce was fantastic. It tastes like ranch but with an extra seasoning added. My fried pork sandwich was very crisp and juicy and the fries had just the right amount of seasoning. It was hard to choose between that and the rib and mac sandwich but it’ll be the first thing I get when I go back.

After searching and searching for somewhere easy for dinner on a Friday night, the delicious photos of the sandwiches at EATS! drew me in. The parking lot was completely full when we pulled in and so was the shopping plaza’s lot next door! Crazy. So we ended up parking in the Badcock lot on the other side of the restaurant and prayed that our car didn’t get towed.
We were sat near the back door, which was probably the only open table since it was pretty cold and rainy out. Every time someone opened it, a large gust of freezing wind blew our napkins all around. Our waitress, Rachel, was very friendly and took our drink orders right away. Since it was a Friday, there was a special on Florida Cane Vodka drinks for $ 4. I ordered the cherry flavor with Coke and my boyfriend ordered a Yuengling draft. She put our drink orders in and we ordered our meal when she brought us each back a water and the fantastic complimentary homemade chips. A few minutes later the beer showed up but mine never did make it to the table. To be fair, it was very busy and she thought that the bartender brought it. It was the only minor flaw in the meal and she brought it after our food arrived and I reminded her.
My boyfriend ordered the fried pork chop sandwich so I tried a bite of that. it was delicious! I had a plain grilled chicken bacon ranch sandwich and we each had fries as our side. The sandwich was very juicy and the bacon was perfectly crispy. The fries had a tasty seasoning and weren’t soggy like you’ll find at some restaurants.
The atmosphere inside was very loud and there were quite a few TVs playing on different channels. There were customers of all ages and plenty of staff to handle the packed house. My boyfriend and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meals at EATS! and left happy and full. We agreed that we would definitely return since we still have to try that fried oreo sundae!

I had the penne pasta, mac and cheese side, and fried green tomatoes.
The penne pasta had a strong blue cheese taste. Didnt like it.
The mac and cheese was bland and the fried green tomatoes were okay.
The setting was like an old community bar/​tavern. Low lighting. Lots of tv screens. A lot of country folk who seem to know each other.

Meh! I don’t know this is my second time here and neither time I was really impressed. We went for date night, which happened to be wing night… I will say their wings were on point very good! The sauces were delicious but we just ordered them for an appetizer. Our waitress was definitely not too great at her job she didn’t really listen and quite a few things were wrong with our order but nothing major but still.
The food/​main course was just meh, I ordered a cheeseburger and while it was good it wasn’t anything special. Brandon had the fried pork sandwich and he wasn’t a huge fan either… Edible but nothing WOW about the meals.
The best part was dessert, fried Oreo Sunday ! Absolute deliciousness.
