I hate complaining but I just have to. On the bright side I had a wonderful waiter named Jesus who was very attentive and nice, I was surprised by how great his customer service was, but as for the food, I had the cheese fries and it tasted ok, after that our food took forever and my stomach started to hurt, when my food got there I decided to I had no other choice but to eat it and it was ok, pretty cold and my steak wass stale. I was able to get my meal removed from the check but once I got home I vomited the entire night, I woke up almost every hour just to throw up the food from Cheddars and it gave my body pains and fever. Worst experience of my entire life… NEVER AGAIN

After waiting an hour and 15 minutes to be seated tonight we are finally seated, in an area that was empty to begin with. We ask why we couldn’t have been seated earlier with that section being completed empty and were brushed off but told the area was closed. While we’re waiting for our food we see a rat running across the floor and noticed the area where the rat ran to had a really bad odor.

I’ve been to this location many times over the years. It’s a family style restaurant and my meal was good. I had the half soup and sandwich with an added Caesar salad (which is my favorite item on the menu) I love the fresh croissant with honey. My guest didn’t get exactly what she ordered but what she did receive it was good.
The down side, the restaurants tile floors were wet with no warning sign. The tables were very sticky and it smelled like sour mop water from time to time. Our waitress came by once, it was almost impossible to catch her. They were very understaffed that day.
Because I enjoyed my food I would return, however I’d probably take it to go.

Everytime I order curbside they mess up my order. From forgetting the ranch to under cooked chicken to skimping on the sides! But this time it was actually right. And I guess they make a pretty tasty Buffalo Chicken Wrapper, so i have to go back. I always wait a long time after the host answers and transfers me to take my order I always try to get there when they tell me, this time 25 – 30 min. I gave them 30, got there and called and still had to wait an add’l 10. Trevor brought the food out and he was nice & professional. But If I’m paying a few bucks fir a freaking side of broccoli cheese casserole I want more than a tiny scoop! I mean i could order a kids scoop of ice cream at baskin robbins and get a larger scoop! Id like to get more the 3 tablespoons, talk about cheap! The chicken strips were good and crunchy.

This is my first and last time i eat here. My father ordered a steak that he requested it well done, the steak care almost rare, the server took it back to be remade and brought back same piece of meat that was still rare. The meal i ate was a burger that tasted like a dried out piece of meat that came from a tv dinner. After we complained about the meal they said it would be 25% off whole check, when we got the check it was only 2 dollars off and was told no we will not take that much off. I wish there was a negative star i could review it as. Bullsh*t should be the companies name.

I visited this location on Sunday night with a few friends. The place was crowded with a 30 minute wait time. We chose to sit in the bar area which is first come first serve. There were 3 booths available. The 3 of us immediately occupied one of them. Our server was Matt. Matt was a very disappointment. He was not attentive at all and forgot just about everything we asked for. I got the feeling he didn’t want to be at work that night. After waiting over 30 minutes for our appetizer and over an hour for our food. We decided to speak with the manager. It was unreal. I have never had a bad experience at Cheddars before, but this time, they put a sour taste in my mouth. Oh, let me just add, we found out Matt has put in his 2 weeks notice which means apparently he is slacking miserably for his next week or so. How professional.

Came here Today for lunch before the hockey game.
The food was not fresh off the grill at all !
My pasta dish (one of the house favorites) looked so dry. I ate a few bites and it was just not good. I asked the waitress for more sauce, it helped but I couldn’t get over how old the pasta tasted. (Definitely not al dente) !
So DISAPPOINTED in the food. Oh and my boyfriend’s lemon chicken was so dry…
Felt like they made all of our dishes then left them under a heat lamp for 15 minutes while they did other things.
Bad food!

The prices aren’t bad and the quantity of food. However that being said the food is not as good as what you could make at home. The service is VERY slow I waited an hour for a salad. The shepherds pie had no flavor at all.

Very good food and drinks. Nice looking place. The only negative thing is they very bad service. I often come here to eat with my family, and I guess we always get unlucky and have a server that looks miserable with their job. Especially today, our server Aaron didn’t talk to us, no hi no nothing. I honestly felt the whole time that she hated our table. I didn’t even know her name until we got our check (about not even 5 minutes after we got our food)…
On another hand, they only have few good servers. One of them is Joe. He is very friendly and professional with his job.
Anyway after so many bad experiences throughout last year and this year I really don’t want to come here anymore.
Oh and make sure you don’t order their side of Mac and cheese, you’ll regret it.

1st visit — Service — ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE !!! Can’t remember when we have had worse.
As a previous posted stated, the place was NOT CLEAN. The floors were littered with crumbs, small bits of paper, and just looked unattended. As I walked back from the men’s room, I noticed that several of the empty tables were not cleaned, however, there was a guy walking around with a rag as if all his work was done??? I would blame the management for not only hiring people who are inept and simply just don’t care about the place where they work or are simply not doing a good job of managing the employees as to what should be required from thwm. I will say the food was actually pretty good, but in all honesty, it was sadly overshadowed by the POOR, POOR level of service & cleanliness throughout.

Cheddars is a nice economically, family friendly restaurant in Brandon. I have been here countless times. The food is great and the alcohol drinks are very reasonable. On my recent visit, I decided to step away from the norm of their ribs. I decided on the 8 oz sirloin. I like my steak well done. The steak came out just right. I had a Texas shaker to accompany my steak. I did notice the prices have increased but eating here www will not break the bank. My only complaint about this place is their hours. This establishment can have an hour wait at times and they close early. I think they should stay open to at least midnight.

So, I decided to give the restaurant another try… BIG MISTAKE! Once again we had to wait a long time, for cold, nasty food! I ordered the ribs & chicken strips with loaded baked potato and broccoli & cheese casserole. The ribs were cold and dry, I had to drink some lemonade just to get it down so I wouldn’t choke on it! Also, the loaded baked potato was cold, hard and topped with flavorless bacon! My husband ordered catfish, which was very under-​seasoned. He’s a seafood lover, but didn’t even want to take home the leftover pieces of fish he had because it wasn’t good. The waitress barely paid attention to our table, and every time my husband tried to tell her something, she would rush past our table and only half listen to what he was saying. HORRIBLE FOOD & BAD SERVICE is a terrible combination!
I used to love Cheddar’s in Michigan, but this location has completely turned me off to this restaurant! We will NOT be going back!

Start with a positive. Food was tasty. Now for the not so positive. Service leaves very little to be desired. How many times should you have to remind your server about something you asked her to bring (i.e. Lemons), once, twice, 3 times? Well here it was the later. App came out quick. Main lunch items not so much. Server Liz was not friendly. Made us feel uncomfortable, like we were a burden or keeps my her from something more important. Why hire introverts? Concierge manager at front was rude. I asked her if she could put a live football game on their 1989 model bar tv. She rolled her eyes and said she would get to it hen she had time. Doubt we will spend our money here ever again, esp. With all the choices in the local area.

Stopped at Cheddar’s with the paramour. The food was. what I expected, it was nothing fantastic, but it was adequate. I will say this for them, they only have 2 settings on their ac. It is either ice cold or really warm there is apparently no comfortable setting.

The service was slow. They were not able to get a basic grilled cheese with tomatoes correct. I was left with an appetizer to eat without utensils for as long as it took me to ask for utensils. Also my burger was completely over cooked.

I only get the Buffalo chicken wrapper and it’s all I need! Pickles and Jack cheese inside and ranch on the side. Buffalo chicken is NOT real saucy and not overly spicy which is how I like it. Simple but guuuuuuud… Price is good and portions big. Solid family restaurant to take the kids too as well as kids menu offers typical items. Much better overall than Chilis and Applebee’s in my opinion. Never been here? Get the BC wrapper.

This was my second visit and the food was just as good as the first time. If you’re a steak lover like I am, you’ll enjoy getting a quality ribeye for a lot less than the steakhouses charge. The side dishes and dessert are awesome too. I’ll let my pictures tell the rest of the story.

This place use to be good. Now the service is horrible you wait forever on your food or drinks. I had left my boxes of food and I called in 5 mins they threw them out. The prices went up. Then there not capable of telling me that the apple juice you have to pay for each fill. 4 cups of apple juice almost $ 10 bucks. That’s just ridiculous!

The atmosphere was just okay. We sat at the bar and ate dinner. It was a little dirty and sticky. The place could use a facelift. However, I had the BEST country fried Chicken!!! It was so delicious, it was hand battered and covered with white peppercorn gravy and a side of mashed potatoes. I can’t tell you how good it was. I got the broccoli and cheese, I hear it was good but not so much tonight. It was a cool lump of velveeta and broccoli.
I recommend getting the fried chicken lunch plate. I got the dinner plate and it was too much… It’s basically was one boneless chicken breast or two.
On the plus side I have chicken for tomorrow too.

I’ve been to many Cheddars over the last 15 years. This chain, though growing quickly, is not as large as many other restaurant chains. However, when you see one, you need to stop and eat! With the exception of just one location, I’ve always had a great meal with great service. This location is no exception!
I arrived with my friends for lunch. The parking lot was nearly full, but don’t let that stop you. We were seated immediately and were taken care of properly. Portions are good, prices have gone up over the years, but are still respectable.
If you are new to Cheddars and not sure what to go, the chicken tenders are a staple. My wife loves them and they might be the most popular item on the menu. Some of my lunch favorites include the buffalo chicken wrapper, Monte Cristo and more. Salads are huge. You pretty much can’t go wrong with any dinner selection either.

If I would’ve known the sauce for the grilled fish tacos was demanded to drench through the tortilla, I wouldn’t have ordered them. The side of broccoli was flavorful but I can also make a mean broccoli at home.
The level of noise in a restaurant typically isn’t the defying factor of my experience, but this place was outrageous. We were yelling across the table to speak! The waitress seemed bothered as well and could have quite possibly been the reason for receiving my margarita 20 minutes late. If I ever return, it will be to sit at the bar for a margarita.

I have visited Cheddar’s a few times before, every other visit has been less than good. This time was an above average experience. The service was not perfect but it didn’t detract from the visit.
The best part of this visit was the food. I ordered off the lite menu sirloin steak over sautéed onions with iceberg wedge salad (under 500 cal). I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out perfect (see picture). I like a good steak sauce, however this steak had great flavor and the sautéed onions added that little boost so that no sauce was needed. The salad was good as well, the house ranch had flavor but was a little light.
My wife and I both ordered off the lite menu and our bill was under $ 25 a nice surprise at the end of the meal. I only gave 3 stars because as good as this visit was in the past the visits have been the complete opposite. Still best cooked steak in months.

Been here years ago. Had the Painkiller and Chicken Tenders. Both were excellent.
Came a second time last week. Was told the wait would be 30 minutes. Still was not seated after 30 minutes, but managed to experience some entertainment in the form of people watching. One girl had her legs draped over her date in the waiting area, allowing everyone across from her to see all of her «glory» they eventually left due to the long waiting time. Another lady came in her pajamas with a sleeping cap. Her date wore what appeared to be house clothes with socks and sandals.
We left and decided to go to Chick Fil A down the street…

This place looks very nice from the outside. The inside is clean, and our server was fast and friendly.
The reason in giving a three star rating, and not a higher rating was the food. I ordered a steak, and my wife ordered blackened salmon. My steak was okay. I was expecting a little better cut, but live and learn.
My wifes salmon was raw inside. We told our server, and he told us he would get the manager. The manager cane to the table, so we showed her the raw salmon. She took it to the kitchen to finish cooking, and we didn’t see her again. Some fish is raw quality. I’m sure this place does not get that quality fish. Why get a manager just to take a plate to the kitchen? I thought we were going to get a complimentary dessert, but there was no offer to make up for the mistake. I guess serving raw fish is too common of occurrence here.
I don’t think I’ll go back. For the price, there are too many other, BETTER options.

LOL, so I’m just updating my last review, because once again I feel prey to the «we haven’t been here in awhile» syndrome. I’m lowering my previous two stars to one. The food is nearly unpalatable.
Disappointed once again. Not sure why about every six months or so I give this place a chance to disappoint me again. 45 minutes after the order was taken our room temperature food arrived. Would have been okay if it had a good flavor but it didn’t.
