Why 2 stars? Because it wasn’t a great experience. — — — This restaurant is very close to my house, but I’ve never been too excited to check it out. Seminole Heights is a mixed-bag in terms of good… and not so good areas. This corner in particular is a bit more seedy than others, but I hit it up during lunch. I wanted to order the steak sandwich, but they had no steak. I settled for the BBQ Chipotle Chicken sammy. She told me that a couple of the fountain sodas were out. I said I was hoping for diet, which she said would be fine. Unfortunately, the diet tasted like club soda. They were about 85% out of chips. Almost every shelf was empty. The sandwich was ok, though it was on stale, toasted bread. I felt like I could taste hints of cleaning solution in it. It’s a shame because it was pretty tasty during most of the bites. This is probably a 2.5 star overall, but I doubt I’ll be back.
