If you’ve eaten at places like Café Ponte, Haven, Élevage or Rootser and the Till, then you’ve had baked goods made by Tampa’s premier bread-slinger, Chef Jason Laukhuf. While they’re not yet setup for retail at this small bakery in the back portion of what used to be The Laughing Cat, one can walk in and get schooled. Me and La Chica were in there for 10 minutes and got the full rundown on their sourdough’s humble yet very interesting berry beginnings.

Holy smokes their stuff is UNREAL. Tried a nibble of gluten free cookie and would’ve never guessed it was gluten free! Sweet crunchy crackling bread is SO good… made the best avocado toasts EVER. Potato English muffins — DELISH. Brioche cinnamon raisin thingies… so good. It’s all just amazing. And the owner(I think) was so friendly and nice at the Hyde Park market. If only it were more accessible(so glad they’re expanding the locations that are offering their goodies)…I’d love to get it weekly!
