My boyfriend and I have been here three times and we’ve been quite pleased each time. The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes are fantastic… fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. The Norwegian Salmon sandwich is my favorite dish — I think the flavors are perfect together. My boyfriend loves the Singapore Street Vendor sandwich. Everything we’ve had tastes fresh and the place is clean. We’ll definitely be back!

This is our second time back to Sundays deli… The first time we were here for breakfast and it was amazing… Cooked fresh on the grill the crunchiest bacon and the best lemon ricotta cheese pancakes I’ve had in years… We’re back today having pastrami fresh made potato chips and my wife is having a Cali Ruben with turkey on marble rye bread… You can’t go wrong… The owner straight from Long Island NY!!! Next time in Ybor… You should stop in and give them a try…

Great stuff! I really enjoyed their sandwiches. Everything was very freshly made. They make their own bread and use Boar’s Head meat, which is the only sensible choice in my opinion. We got spinach artichoke dip which they also made in house. Anyways it’s great, go there!

We were looking for a new place to go for weekend brunch and found this on Unilocal. We weren’t quite sure what to expect… But you order at the counter, sit down and wait for them to call you, and you go back up and get your food(and get the condiments, etc). We both ordered the drip coffee(which is the only coffee option) and unlike what we come across at other places, they actually gave it to us right away instead of waiting for it until you get your food. thank you.. We both ordered an omelette with home fries with toast. It was very tasty and I really enjoyed the breakfast.(The guy behind the grill was even letting me know our food was coming right up when I came by to get sugar/cream for my coffee). My boyfriend usually loves having a bloody mary at brunch, but I’d definitely come back here for another casual, quick brunch… check them out for lunch too.

On a Sunday morning stumbled among this small café. Ordered the eggs benedict florentine and a signature sandwich. They were both delicious. Not much of a coffee selection. A café con leche is a necessity in Ybor, no?

This place is so awesome, and it blows my mind that even on Sunday there’s usually no crowd. I’ve been here 5 times now and every time the food is excellent. The eggs Benedict is the best I’ve had in Tampa– it’s a florentine Benedict with no meat! Also the lemon ricotta pancakes are delicious. 10⁄10 would come again.

True New York-Style Deli! The sandwiches are huge and delicious with extremely generous portions of fresh meat and veggies. It would be helpful if you check out their menu before you go because they have a lot of different offerings. Great coffee. Fresh bread. GO!!!

The Sunday’s Benedict here is to die for. Home fries were plain and mushy. Coffee was meh. Plenty of options for breakfast with a nice crowd showing up shortly after the 10am opening. Do try the Benedict, though.

Tried this place last weekend with my boyfriend and we were enthralled. Foodie heaven. We ordered breakfast and also lunch to go. It was that delicious. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes & my bf had the eggs benedict. We were sharing both meals because they both were so phenomenal. That had to be the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. We also ordered the salmon cakes as a side and they were very moist on the inside, perfectly crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. The sauce they come with is delicious too. I ordered a bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich to go for later and he ordered one of the lunch sandwiches(don’t remember which one as i didn’t see it or try it). He was equally as impressed as i was overall with our massive breakfast and lunches to go! We will definitely be back. Oh– FYI they let us bring our greyhound inside as we waited by the door for our food. :)

Best breakfast sandwiches in town. Good strong coffee as well. They have hot sauces and honey as well as other condiments. No fresh squeezed OJ, but good cooler selection. Nice and quiet in the mornings. Clean bathroom. Staff usually seems tired and busy but never rude. I don’t care as long as the food is good. Boars head selection is also a plus.

Large portions! Craving subs or sandwiches we decided to stop in and give it a go. I’m glad we did because the portions were huge! We could have shared a half portion lol we had leftovers for lunch the next day so it was great for the price of around $ 7 each. I ordered the chicken salad wrap that was on special with a spinach wrap. It comes with homemade chips with a nice seasoning on them or fries also seasoned. I tried the chips. Very crispy and fresh! Yum! My chicken was large chunk wonderful with grapes and almond slices mixed in. Very refreshing but beware onion breath! hehe I’m not sure if the onions were pre mixed in or if they were something I could ask to omit. Regardless I loved it! My husband ordered the California without guacamole adding Dijon with fries. Fries were delicious! The bacon on it was fresh and cooked perfectly. It was a great choice! Definitely recommend! The Hero as they call their sub is on fresh bread that they make in house daily and it was light airy and delightful! I wish I would have known I could have request my chicken salad on this fresh bread! I think the owner was working behind the counter on a Saturday afternoon. Talk about dedication and it shows with the amount of care put into each meal!

Just tried Sunday’s for the 1st time, and overall, it was underwhelming. First off, it’s not the cleanest place in the world, and the décor and configuration seem thrown together. It’s even more confusing when you find out they moved here recently from across the street. You’d think they’d have everything set up nicely, but instead signs are falling down and the place looks old. They also have 2 separate chalk boards with sandwiches listed, and the boards are 20′ apart from each other, makes ordering an unwanted adventure. Anyway, I heard good things about the«Asian pork sandwich», so that’s what I ordered, with a side of fries. I thought I’d be getting roast pork, but instead I found cold cut pork inside. What a disappointment! I tried one of the previously-frozen, pre-seasoned fries and it tasted just like it looked — gross! I saw fresh this and fresh that signs outside in the window, wasn’t expecting frozen fries. The only plus is they use Boar’s Head meats and cheeses…

My husband and I went for lunch. I happened to notice this place last time we were in Ybor a couple of weeks ago. We ordered a whole Cuban which is $ 13. One half of this half of sandwich is what most people serve as a whole sandwich. They were also very accommodating as I wanted to try the spicy Cuban and my husband wanted a traditional. They made half each way. It was delicious. Better than the Cuban at the Columbia restaurant in my opinion. The only negative was the man cooking seemed to be in a really bad mood. You can clearly see behind the counter. I would definitely go back though. Also the Gatden Salad was huge and only $ 7!

I really liked this place! It has a great homey feel and I am pretty sure the owner was on skillet when we came on a Sunday morning for brunch :) I had the eggs benedict — which is the only thing I ever get for breakfast, so when I tell you they are FANTASTIC here, I speak from experience. I was there on a really quiet Sunday, so I can’t speak to the days/times when Ybor is super busy. The service was great and the food was ready quickly. I am pretty sure it was the owner that was slaving away on the skillet — and I love places where the owner is onsite and clearly vested. the thing I loved about the eggs benedict is that they used a spinach and artichoke spread that made the taste really unique and fresh on a very traditional dish. It’s great when places can think ‘outside of the box’ on a dish and end up with an awesome new twist on something that is normally very traditionally made. As an aside, the bathrooms were clean — which is always awesome at Ybor city lol

Sunday’s Deli is a strange place. The doorway area is where they have produce, etc. When you walk into the deli, it is a little dark. You can order your breads, cheese, meats. Or you can order off their menus at the counter to get a sandwich or breakfast, served all day. I’ve been a couple times and ordered the roast beef sandwich as well as the BBQ meatloaf. I didn’t realize this was also going to be in sandwich form. In any case, it was OK. A whole sandwich is $ 13. I assume it must be as long as a yardstick at that price. The half sandwich at $ 7 is filling enough. If I go back again, I’ll try a breakfast item.

I had never noticed this cool deli before — you gotta try it! The food was great and people know it judging by how busy it was on the Sunday that we went. Maybe understaffed at the time, but they were really nice and made for a great lunch! Definitely going back.

$ 4 for a 16oz plain black coffee should come with a cup of coffee and $ 1.50 in change. It was decent and quick, but that’s too much money. There were chickens outside on a Saturday morning, making the post-Friday Ybor scene walk of shame. That earns a bonus star.

Cute little deli in Ybor with massive sandwiches! The cool thing? You can have breakfast ALLDAY! We went around noon and it wasn’t super packed. They have menu item such as Heros, salads, sandwiches, subs and soup. I opted for the Muffuletta, and let me say when it arrived I was stunned! It was massive! It was so much bigger then I had expected it to be. Piled with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and their olive dressing; it was perfection. It also came with their homemade potato chips with some seasoning on them which were also really amazing as well. Can’t wait to go back and try breakfast!
