America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I went to get the eye exam for contact lenses and had a pleasant experience here. The service was friendly and the price was very reasonable. Even though I didn’t get spare glasses today I will come back in the future for some as they seemed to have a good selection of them.
I made an appointment and recommend you do so as well as it seems to stay pretty busy.

My mother and I expierenced an issue with service a week ago however the manager immediately addressed/​rectified the issue. Thanks Michelle and Nancy for your stellar service! This company stands by their desire to treat each person who walks through their door with the upmost respect and curteousy !! I would recommend this company to anyone. Not only are thier prices affordale but the dedication to customer satisfaction is amazing!

With the two pairs of eyeglasses for $ 70 offer being advertised, I thought for sure that was a misleading statement to get me in the store so they could hit me with a much higher price tag or, more realistically, it would be an indicator of the quality of product or service I was to receive. I mean, I always spent a fortune at my previous eye doctor and never really got quality glasses or was treated like they cared about me as a customer. So less money spent must mean even worse, right? I WAS SO WRONG!
I scheduled an appointment online (good thing I did, it was very busy when I went in) and when I got there I had to wait maybe five minutes. My appointment was so punctual that I didn’t have time to fully complete the minimal paperwork (good problems!). Everyone who worked on my eye exam was super nice and worked efficiently, but I never felt rushed. The exam didn’t take long AT ALL. It was great.
After my exam I went to the front of the store to pick out my glasses. There was a huge selection to choose from clearly organized by price, which was awesome because I was fully expecting to buy two cheap pairs to use as my spares while I used my new prescription to order a fancy pair of glasses online. However, I never ended up doing that and I now use my America’s Best glasses full time. The woman who helped process my glasses order was the best. She was so nice and helpful, and while she presented the upgrades that they’re supposed to try to sell, she never made me feel pressured or uncomfortable which I greatly appreciated.
My glasses were ready in about two weeks. I walked right in and an associate grabbed them for me and adjusted them where needed. Again, this person was ultra nice! This whole process took about 10 minutes. Super easy.
It’s been months since getting my new glasses and everything has worked out great! I’ve even spoken to random people I’ve met and they’ve had the same great experiences at America’s Best. Overall, I’m very happy and I’ll never go back to my old place again!

Totally unacceptable customer service.
Business sets appointments and does not keep the time. 50 minutes after my appointment time I am still waiting and will have to reschedule due ti another commitment.
I suppose you get what you pay for, lesson learned.

Full service optician — broad range of eyeglasses to choose from. Optometrist on staff. Clean, well lit, courteous, knowledgeable. Took 1 week to get my glasses — I got two pairs 1. Progressive, top-​of-​the-​line glass and 2. Polarized sunglasses (top glass too). Spent $ 450ish for everything –exam included.

This past March I had my annual eye exam at the America’s Best in Panama City. I opted for the Eyecare club which would supposedly give me free annual eye exams for three years. I woke up this morning with an eye infection due to sleeping in my contact lenses, and so I called America’s best in Tallahassee to see if my insurance was accepted. In finding out that I was an Eye-​club member, the very friendly receptionist informed me that the visit would be free. With no appointment, I was able to come in and be seen right away by a very knowledgeable doctor. Great value, friendly service, and knowledgeable staff. Very, very impressed.
