David Gemme helped to make a dream come true for our family! I’ve been frequenting Tahoe since learning to snowboard at the age of 18, and converted my husband to boarding from skiing before we were married. Anyhow, we talked and dreamed about owning a Tahoe cabin one day and my interest in real estate turned its attention towards Truckee and North Shore Tahoe a couple years ago. We casually looked at the Tahoe market and last October, we decided to start visiting some of the cabins/​homes that interested us.
We were spending the weekend at Northstar with our close, family friends when I noticed a cabin in Brockway Vista that had just become available. Per the photos, it looked beautiful so we decided to visit it prior to driving home. It was a last minute request and David Gemme kindly accommodated us and met us within 15 – 20 minutes.
Although my family and I were excited to view the cabin, I prepped myself because sometimes «pictures» can look more impressive than the real deal. As soon as we drove up to the cabin, we started to fall in love… and once the front doors opened, it was all over. Aside from the wide angle lens used for the living room (looked a teeny bit bigger in the pictures), the cabin was amazing and a true gem!!! We were officially in love. My husband and I thought to ourselves, «This place is perfect for our family.»
Anyhow, long story longer, David Gemme, Jenna, and Team were fantastic to work with! To echo a previous reviewer, Oliver Luxury Real Estate is credible, informed, competent, professional, friendly, and fun! In addition to introducing us to our cabin, David introduced us to our mortgage lender, house-​cleaning & concierge service provider, contractor, blinds designer, and many others that we are working with on an ongoing basis.
We LOVE our cabin and we’re grateful to David Gemme, Jenna, and Team for the fantastic purchase and seamless move into our beautiful home!!! BTW, I have already recommended David to colleagues and a couple friends who have inquired about Tahoe real estate. We may have more neighbors soon…

Jenna & David were great realtors for my first purchase of a Home. I casually looked for a home in the tahoe area for about 2 years. Jenna would keep me updated with e-​mails when something would meet my search criteria. If I liked one of the matches she would meet with me asap to do a showing of the home. It was also great having them to answer any and all of my questions especially since I lacked experience purchasing a home before. I would recommend them to anyone! They rock!

David & Jenna were exceptional. They provided great overview tours of the area to help us narrow our search. Once we settled upon Northstar, they helped us find the perfect house. David’s construction background came in handy as well — helping us avoid houses that needed too much work!

We purchased a house in Squaw Valley with David Gemme as our realtor. The house was a short-​sale, and needless to say Dave had to work hard with an impossible selling realtor to make it happen. Took almost 6 months, and almost fell apart time and time again, but in the end, Dave made me a home owner. He and the team at Chase are get ‘r done type people. I’m certain he’ll become a friend into the future, and I’ll be passing him a long to all my friends looking to buy.
