Awesome! I am so very grateful that someone could show up in a timely manner, handle the job and get it done quickly. They also only charged me a price they quoted that didn’t go up, and got the vehicle where it was supposed to be without a problem! Thanks Bobby for the good job you did! I know our broken boat trailer was a pain to deal with, I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Excellent service and very competitive rates. I really recommend this service. Just for you to have an idea… for the same service other company asked 500 usd and with North Shore Towing I just paid 200 usd.

My wife unfortunately lost control in the snow ending up that she and her car plummeted about 30ft down a hill between trees, rocks, bushes and plenty of mud and snow. Definitely not an east job by any means but Bobby was extremely professional, prompt, and more than helpful to get the car out immediately. Would absolutely recommend when in need of a tow or getting out of related situation.

Bobby was absolutely fantastic. We were stuck on an icy patch in a friends driveway and could not get out. Bobby arrived exactly when he said he would, knew how to handle what might have been a dicey situation, and got us on our way. His price was totally fair, and he was very friendly.

The best! I lost my trailer brakes in incline village and feared going back down Mt Rose HWY (9000 foot peak). I was fortunate to have called Bobby. HE was very helpful and explained to me options for both repair in Incline village and routes back down to Reno for repair. (I chose to have him tow it to Reno for repair) He was on time, very pleasant to deal with and his price was very fair. If you are stuck in a bad way, it would be a good idea to call Bobby. Bobby is THE best! My boyfriend and I were up in Tahoe for a week and our car broke down. The engine wouldn’t even turn over. Since the issue was covered under warranty, we needed someone to tow it all the way down to Reno so the dealer could fix it. We called AAA and they wanted to charge us an arm and a leg to get it there and they were pretty rude and disorganized too. But then! Then we found Bobby! North Shore Towing was recommended to us by Tahoe City Auto Repair and man was this a great find. Bobby’s prices were reasonable and he was very nice and understanding. He even let my boyfriend travel down to Reno with him and they had a great drive with good conversation. Please, if you are ever in need of a towing company, use North Shore Towing!

North Shore Towing did an excellent job helping me with my family’s van. On the last day of our vacation in Tahoe our van broke down. I called North Shore towing the next morning and spoke to Bobby who said he could meet me at the stranded van in about 20 min.; which he did. He did a great job, was quick and got me and my van safely to the auto shop. On the way to the shop he even pointed out some tips regarding the bus line (if needed), as well as distance to town if I needed to come back in for anything.

I drove to Silver-​Creek Lake Tahoe campground, and embarrassingly, I lock BOTH my keys in my Rav4 at 10pm. They were very quick, considering the remote location of the campground, they’re also very friendly and professional. I would definitely call them again if I get into a jam again.

The alternator of my motorcycle stopped working in Lake Tahoe. Bobby picked me up and drove me to Berkeley, a long way. I contacted him through my insurance company. He knows how to run his business and the phone call with him was easy, understandable and everything was fast. I didn’t have to wait long for him. He is very professional and knows how to handle a motorcycle. I really recommend his services.

I drove my car from Palo Alto to Lake Tahoe a few days ago, when all of a sudden my car’s transmission started experiencing some serious issues. After 20 minutes of increasingly scary driving, I decided that my old car would not be suitable to drive back to Palo Alto. That’s when I started looking at options to get my car home (Palo Alto), and a friend recommended North Shore Towing.
I talked to Bobby who was incredibly polite, helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. On top of that, he was extremely quick to help out, and with great rates. I was in no rush to send my car from Lake Tahoe back to Palo Alto, but Bobby still made it a point to do the job on the same day, driving my car all the way back to Palo Alto.

I had ridden my bike (motorcycle) to South Lake Tahoe to meet up with old friends from the east coast for some skiing. Stayed at the Harrah Hotel at the state line of California and Nevada. Had a blast…
And then the next morning around 8 AM, I was all geared up and ready to leave for home but the bike wouldn’t start.

So, that’s how I ended up with Bobby from the North Shore Towing. He came promptly at 45 minutes like I was promised from the Harley Owners Group (HOG…like AAA but for Harley Davidson motorcycles)
And what’s more, since Bobby said he is a biker himself, I felt comfortable handing my bike over to him. He seemed to know his way around the bike.
Then, we were on our way to the Carson City Harley Davidson dealer (the nearest HD dealer from where I was, a good 40 minutes further away EAST, entirely in the opposite direction of where I was to go).
I must say I was really impressed with Bobby’s skill driving down the mountainous roads towards Carson City zooming down the hills passing all those cars. It was like he drove those roads often, so often that he could drive those roads with his eyes closed. When we arrived at the HD dealer, he promptly took my bike off the flat truck bed and brought the bike inside the shop. And made sure I was going to be all right before he left…
I would recommend using North Shore Towing because of the promptness, their expertise and best of all, they’ve got Bobby!

Best tow experience I have ever had… The «other guys» took 40 minutes to arrive and wanted to charge me $ 225 to tow my vehicle to a repair shop in town. But Bobby was honest about the situation, and instead of towing my vehicle, he simply gave my spare tire some air. He was quick to arrive (about 8 minutes), and he went the extra mile to save me some money. Anytime I have car trouble, I will be calling Bobby.

Cannot recommend North Shore Towing enough! I had a terrible experience with Alpine Auto Service and ended up needing to reach out to a different company. Bobby was prompt, and more importantly extremely knowledgable. One of the best customer service experiences of my life. Would give more stars if I could!
