I loved their all-you-can eat wings specials, the wings were huge… too bad they closed :(

Completely Blacklisted Pros: close to the freeway? Cons: small portions, way expensive for what you get, side veggies were a joke… like microwaved and a brownish green color.

I don’t give 1 star ratings but I have to here. Maybe they get 1.5 because they have tv’s in the bathroom, but I’m going with 1. I am a wing connoisseur. Their wings are no good and they call themselves«WINGERS». Let’s see… they’re small and undercooked and the worst part of all is the flavor. If I ask for my wings«hot» please don’t give me this super sweet sauce bullshit. I love wings and I couldn’t even finish my meal. With Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebees, Hooters all in the area, there’s no reason to come here. All of these restaurants have way better chicken wings.

I hate buffalo wings. The smell of the sauce turns my stomach. I love the Sticky Fingers at Winger’s. Boneless 2.5oz chicken strips coated in the sauce of your choosing. The«original» sauce is a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. It’s a complete 180 from the standard awful buffalo sauce. Came in for lunch, when they have the all you can eat special(drink, salad, fries included) for under $ 10. It’s a great deal. The fingers are made to order and always come out piping hot. I’ll be back for sure as long as that lunch special continues.

I use to come here a lot many years ago but now i come maybe once a year. You can’t deny that the wing sauce is super delicious. They also HAD a great deal during the week where you can buy wings for like .49, something like that. This was a really good deal but they stopped it. Those were the good ol’ days. After that this place went down for me. The service isn’t that good and i don’t think the price is worth coming here, especially having to travel all the way to tacoma. The last time I came, I was not happy with my food. I ordered the chicken sandwich that comes fried with the sauce, but the chicken was over fried. If you haven’t been here before, the food is worth trying or you might be better off ordering the sauce and frying your own chicken at home. That’s what imma do!

We have been going here for years! Always super friendly & quick to get our food out to us! Food is wonderful & if you don’t like something they gladly exchange it for you! I love their sauces! Everyone I have ever taken here has been hooked! Definitely miss the old manager though, & how they used to make the pizookie! It is no longer allergy friendly, as they now put the nuts in the cookie! Make sure to sign up for their birthday club(gets you a free dessert on your birthday)! Definitely kid friendly! Only issue I’ve had recently is waiting for check, to pay & receive drink refills! Love the murals they had hand drawn in the bathroom!

To the Management of Wingers: Do your job. It’s quite simple really, when you train your employees, they usually end up doing THEIR job. If they’re REALLY listening, they end up doing their job WELL. Case in point: My group(2 kids and 5 adults including myself) went to Wingers over the weekend(Sunday, January 1st). We initially made the long drive from Poulsbo to have some wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. Unfortunately, they were PACKED and we were looking at an hour and a half to two hour wait for a table. We were hungry, tired from the drive and craving wings so we drove over to Wingers(ugh). When we arrived, the place was EMPTY. That should’ve been a clear warning sign(empty«Sports Bar» restaurant on a game night) but I figured we should give them a fair chance. We placed our drink order, asked about the sauces, looked through the menu and ordered our appetizers and entrees. In reality, they only have 3 different«flavors» and you can get them as is or «hotter». Not impressed. Our waitress, RACHEL, was nice at first and SEEMED attentive. She brought our drinks and told us the lemonades we ordered were BOTTOMLESS(yeah, cool) and our appetizers should be out soon. 20 minutes later… Oh hey, hi Appetizers nice to see you. We polish off the onion rings, they get taken away and Rachel says our food should be coming up soon. No drink refills. 25 minutes later… No server, restaurant’s still empty and still no refills on our drinks. A little bit after that, we FINALLY receive our food. Our waitress is NOWHERE to be seen and no one has checked on us since they cleared the appetizers. When we got our entrees, our orders were WRONG. The wings didn’t have the right sauces, wings and fries were lukewarm and to add even more frustration, my daughter didn’t get her order ATALL. Our server finally comes by the table 5 minutes after the entrees were given and asks if everything was good — I politely ask for my daughter’s order since we ALL had our food and she didn’t. She went back to the kitchen, brought out my daughter’s food and it was COLD like it had been sitting out the ENTIRE time. I was livid. Nevermind how LONG it took to get our food, nevermind the lack of refills or attention from our server or the fact that they didn’t get our orders correct, but you don’t try to pass off crap like that as food. That wasn’t even the WORST part though. After we had finished our meals, the table was cleared, NOREFILLS(surprise) and the check was dropped off. Another 15 minutes passed and still no damn server. We even went up to the lobby to see if we can pay our ticket and get the hell out but the lady up front said they don’t have a register up there. So we waited, waited and waited some more and 5 more minutes later she came by so we paid our bill, I left a note and we left. In retrospect, if we would’ve stuck with Buffalo Wild Wings, the wait would have at least been WORTHOURWHILE, it would have been astronomically less than the time wasted here. I do NOT recommend eating at Wingers. Save your time and money. You’d get better service from a comatose seaslug compared to their so-called servers.

Im a «benefit of the doubt» type of person when it comes to rating a restaurant but there is no doubt that this establishment went downhill since the last time I visited 2 – 3 months ago. You would think that since the opening of Buffalo Wild Wings this place would bring out their«A» game but sadly no. The server was friendly but was merely going through the motion of order taking and had no real human connection. The place was empty BUT it took 45 minutes to get our order and when it arrived(its a bad sign when you see that the ice in ALL our glasses melted), they didn’t even the orders right. They even got the kids meal wrong. Another 20 – 30 minutes went by as we WAITED to PAY for our meal. I had to walk to the front and ask someone if I can pay but they said to go back to my server who was still ABSENT. So half of us STOOD at our table and the other half stood at the front waiting to make eye contact with SOMEONE… ANYONE! We want to PAAAAYY!!! There was no apologies or anything from our server. It was a just a «thank you for coming in» as she was turning away. It blew my mind. We just kind of stared at each other marveling at how bad our customer service was. You have to TRYREALHARD to get 1 star from me. This used to be my FAVORITE wing place in Tacoma but obviously not anymore. I really hate this place now. I would recommend Buffalo Wild Wings and you can see that 5 star review shortly.

The food at this restaurant has been on and off throughout my visits. I’ve had times when the wings are delicious and perfectly cooked and marinated, but there’s time when I get my food and the chicken is still slightly cold in the middle. All in all, the restaurant has the potential to be better than it is when performing at max capacity. The waiters/waitresses are always very friendly, every time I’ve been there they’ve been very attentive and helpful when pointing me out to different menu items. If you’re a fan of chicken wings, give this joint a shot.

I really hate this place. It has the worst food and service imaginable. My last and final trip was back in January. I haven’t been there since but after reading reviews just reminds me how angry I was when I left the restaurant. Here’s the storyline: my husband and I went here because of my wing craving kicked in(thank God BWW opened up recently) and wanted to give this place a second try. We walked in, no hostess, no bartender, nothing. We just walked over to the bar to get a brewsky. The bar was sticky and dirty… The bartender came over and ask what we wanted to drink… After he sat the drinks down, he disappeared. We were sipping on the flavorless beer and was ready to order. The bartender was still missing and we were about to walk out. He finally came back and we ordered. I got a wrap and the other one had some chicken fingers… I ordered the spicer one and somehow I got the least spiciest one. It came out cold and over salted. I was surprised that this place is still opened. I give them til the end of the year since BWW opened just down the street. I really do hope they get shut down. Then whenever I look for a good wing place on Unilocal, this place won’t pop up anymore.

Been here a handful of times and this visit was decent, pretty good service, food came out in a reasonable time. We came at a off hour which helped, I’m sure. Food was pretty good, ordered some zucchini sticks, which were delicious, just don’t overdue it, lol it is fried and they give a decent portion. I will say that the service in the bar is much better than the general seating area. The bartenders and servers are just more friendly and presentable which is weird to me but hey it’s what to expect from this establishment now:( As a note the food is decent, prices as well but it all really depends on the day and were you sit.

So when you see a name like Winger’s, you better come right!!! Unfortunately, this place was all types of wrong. The 2 positive notes were the service was decent, could have been better, but I was part of a large party, so thats forgiveable and there was no problem finding parking. Ok, so real simple a wing joint gotta have some dope wings. And this place did not. I got the all-you-can-eat dinner special, cause like a true fat boy, if a place offers all-you-can-eat you gotta at least try it once. And i love me some chicken wings. Flavors, the spicy buffalo chicken wing flavor was so bland! Ive tasted better flavors throwing up malt liquor, than what they had to offer. And on top of that, they only had 3 different flavors to choose from??? Why was the best flavor they had was naked, which means just fried with nothing on it. I dont like none of the 3 flavors you offer so let me season it the way i want cause yall doin something wrong back there in the kitchen. The original buffalo was bland so i tried to go hotter, and it was nothing but extra blandness if that is even possible. The teriyaki was way too sweet and the bbq was way too tangy. And those are your 3 flavors folks, thanks for playing. A wing place that I cant go back to. I love the Tac, but this place is whack!!!

Three years ago, my wife and I came here and had a horrible experience. We left in a huff after waiting an hour only to have our orders screwed up and show up at our table cold. The manager at that time had put his hands on me and told us in a somewhat threatening tone that we couldn’t leave. We did. Since then, we had been content to ignore Wingers, except as a joke, a place my wife or I would threaten to take the other if someone was«acting up.» But today, my wife was craving wings, and seeing as it’s the deep dark heart of the playoffs, I felt the craving as well. So, we decided that since we weren’t the sort that goes to Hooters, we’d give Wingers another shot. Almost immediately upon arrival, I could tell that we would regret it. Wingers is slowly replacing the local microbrews on tap with its own proprietary microbrews(«Winger Bros.») that do not impress. The lager is bland, and the pale ale has no hoppiness to it.(Yes, I believe hoppiness should be a word. Would you prefer«had a low IBU,» my fellow beer nerds?) We were amongst five customers at the bar(which seats about 20 – 40) at lunchtime, it was striking that the counter was still dirty, likely from the night before. The restrooms were also dirty, on par with what one would expect from a McDonald’s. My wife had the boneless wing wrap; I had the four boneless wing combo. Right after we ordered, I checked in with my phone on Unilocal. It was kind of creepy. Right after I did so, the manager, a portly bald man, came over and gruffly asked if everything was all right. Mental note. Check in on Unilocal more surreptitiously. The food came out after 20 minutes, and was, yet again, cold. My wife had ordered the Medium sauce(three pepper rating on the menu), I the Original(one pepper). Strangely, mine was spicier than hers. The fries, which were barely room temperature, had a thick coat of salt and what seems like bay seasoning on them. Not good. An hour after we ate, my wife and I both felt sick, which is impressive because we both have spent a year living in Asia, dysentery’s kingdom. Our hunt for good wings in the PacNW will have to continue. I regret not sticking to my decision to never come back.

SPORTSBARANDFOOTBALL when driving to tacoma mall, i always see this restaurant and wondered about it. so we busted a u-turn and came here to eat. the place reminds me of a redrobbins slammed into an apple bee’s. i really thought the place would have an array of chicken wing selections but the menu was just a typical menu. what a perfect time, its football sunday and seahawks per playing. i’d assume there would be more people but the place wasnt extremely packed nor was it empty. good places for friends to gather and eat and watch football. we ordered two mini black pepper steak meals. satisfying and i thought it was pretty well cooked and made great for a $ 10 steak. our services could have been better. took forever to get our server to come check on us. when she did, i didn’t have a steak knife and i asked for A-1 only for her to bring me some other Heinz bbq sauce and said she couldn’t find A-1. i think my not-so-thrilled response sent her to go find the A-1 bottle. don’t be lazy, you know its somewhere, go find it. she found it in a matter of 2 minutes. come on now, it was’t that tough. i’m disappointed i didn’t get to try their fried chicken wings but their wings were spicy and they couldn’t put the sauce on the side. when fried chicken wings are drentched in sauce, its a hit or miss. sometimes it can be good and sometimes its not. i passed but regret the pass. Will i be back? Perhaps. Unti the next review…

I came here to watch the Apple Cup this year and my friends were so excited to take me. «Good atmosphere, good food, and good place,» they said. Well guess what? They were WRONG. I’ll give them one thing, the establishment isn’t bad. Tons of flat screens line the wall and each one is turned to something that at least SOMEONE will be interested in — basketball, UFC, hockey, etc. However, that does not make up for poor service and mediocre bar food. It took 30 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged us. When we got there, there were a few tables occupied, but nothing too serious. Then, it took another 40 minutes to get our food(even 15 minutes before being served water… seriously??). We ordered from the happy hour menu. The food was fine. It was typical bar food… nothing too exciting. I would have ordered more food except that I was afraid of the game ending before we got our second rounds. All in all, I wouldn’t come here again on my own accord. I’d rather go to Applebees.

I had a really long review but I thought a quick list would sum up my complaints without getting lost in the verbage: 1) Waited so long for a server that we got up and attempted to move to the restaurant from the bar before finding staff 2) Ordered«plain/dry» burger that came covered in ketchup and mayo 3) Burger meat was so tasteless that the frozen patties from the store have more seasoning 4) French fries had seasoning to make them taste like BBQ chips. Eww. 5) Server NEVER came back to check on our meal(and wasn’t the one to drop it off either) 6) Finally flagged him down to hand him my credit card then waited 14 minutes(literally) to have him come back with receipt **Though, if you’re underage this could be your new hangout because I overheard one bartender just ask a customer if she was 21 and took her word for it when she said yes without seeing ID.

Last week my company and I went here to have a lunch party. There were about 30 of us in a completely empty restaurant at 1130 am. Keep in mind, we had phoned ahead to inform them that a large party was on the way, so be expecting us. At the table, they had advertisements for All You Can Eat wing and chicken strip combos for $ 11.99. This sounded like a great deal to me, seeing as how this place charges $ 1.00 per wing anyway. I figured I could down at least 12 wings and make my money back. I was horribly mistaken. When I placed my order the waitress informed me that it could take up to 10 minutes to get a refill on the wings. I was totally fine with that, but I had to wonder, 10 minutes to sauce up a couple of wings? I should have listened to my conscience at this point, but I digress. 20 minutes later my food arrives. More than half of the plate is french fries(obviously a filler«decoy» for those less experienced«all you can eaters»), and the other side of the plate has 6 chicken wings. The wings looked no different than what you would get at Pizza Hut. The sauce on the wings was WAY too sweet. It tasted like honey with some pepper sprinkled in it. Absolutely disgusting. The fries were standard, although I only ate a few because I wanted to reach my goal of 12 wings. It took 15 minutes for the server to come by again, at which time I put in a refill for my wings. It was at this point that the 2 servers taking care of us disappeared. A party of 30 with no servers, and not another soul in the place. Drinks ran out, tempers ran high. 25 minutes(read: TWENTY-FIVEMINUTES) after I placed my refill order, the server brings out a small plate with 3(read: THREE) wings on it. SERIOUSLY? YOU’REJOKINGRIGHT? I waited 25 minutes for three wings?! Oh, but that’s not all, these suckers are ice cold. I am talking«sat in the refrigerator» cold. Totally inedible, hell, they might not have even been cooked through. Fed up, I left my table and went to go talk to some friends across the way. As soon as I get there, they dare me to try the sauce they had on their wings. Dubious, I dipped my finger in the sauce and placed it on my tongue. First, I got a hint of teriyaki. Then, a taste from the bowels of hell erupted in my mouth. How to describe it? Well, it had hints of sesame seed oil, but what it really tasted like was hand lotion. Seriously. THISISTHEWORSTTASTINGSAUCE I HAVEEVERHAD. Anywhere… even worse than the honey with pepper I had tried earlier. After recovering from this experience, the waitress drops off the bill. My total for the experience: $ 18.17. Yep, I paid $ 18 for 9 wings and some fries. Oh, and they added on 15% gratuity. Regretfully, I paid the bill and left. Next day I check my bank statement, they overcharged me $ 9. In short, I paid $ 27 dollars for horrible service, horrible food, and an overall horrible experience. This review may not have a huge impact on their business, but I will be telling everyone I know not to go here. Honestly I do not know how they stay in business. 1130am and the place is a ghost town? Oh that’s right, they overcharge customers after they leave. PLEASEDONOTEATHERE!

Let me start by saying, this is the first place I have been to where I got popcorn instead of something like nachos or dinner rolls. That neither helps or hurts why i am giving this place a 1 star rating. For appetizers, we had a chicken quesadilla which in my honest opinion, was the real deal breaker here. What they basically did was put sweet sauced chicken, with some weird version of salsa which tasted nothing like salsa, wrapped around tortillas, with what I believe was chipotle sauce to dip in. Quite honestly, none of it went together at all. In fact, I hated it, it was terrible, all of those flavors clashed in a very bad way. For the main course I ordered wings and a baked potato. The wings had a good spiciness to it, but the potatoes, were quite bland. Maybe it was a matter of the potato was too big, and I could not spread all the toppings they threw on there evenly. You ever heard of a problem of a potato being too big, because I guess I’m here complaining about that very thing. When I leave washington, be assured that this is one of the places I will not miss.
