This is drive thru only location. Service was great — very quick and friendly except they overcharged me but I didn’t see it until an hour later. Bummer. My problem is with the location — it is super difficult to get into — I circled around 3 times until I figured out how to get into the damn thing. If you have a big vehicle have fun getting around also. It’s in the parking lot next to McDonalds, a tiny plaza and Walmart. Whose bright idea was it to build a stbx on like a 5×5 piece of property? But it’s the corner of 23rd and union and a prime piece of commercial real estate in Tacoma so they made it work. –2 stars for overcharging me for an extra drink when I only had 1 and also for difficulty of coming in and out — next time I’ll drive further in order not to deal with that which is sad bc service itself wasn’t bad.

Cashier asked me taste the tea latte to see if I liked it. I tasted the tea just a little and burned my tongue and couldn’t taste anything. Don’t these kids know when tea is too hot to serve? I’m not going back.

Nice location, drive thru only. Although it was pretty quick, and my drink (peppermint white mocha) was perfect down to to the chocolate on top :)

1÷9÷16 @ around 9:10am: ordered venti chestnut praline and tasted like warm milk with a hint of coffee. Was terribly disappointed. The walmart coffee vending machine as you exit taste better and more like coffee. For the price of a meal i got terrible coffee, what a dissapointment.

This is a drive-​thru ONLY location so expect lines, that’s my 1st tip for this location, 2nd if you have a large vehicle that is hard for you to maneuver in tight spots, avoid this location all together because they squeezed this poor location in such a small spot that entering and exiting can be quite difficult.
To reiterate the above, I do love that there is a drive-​thru only location near the freeway but they gave it piss poor planning when it came to entering and exiting this place, you will see when you visit! The service has always been good, which is pretty universal to all Starbucks as they are a corporation. I’ve only had a couple mishaps with my drinks but all fixable and even with the lines and all they work pretty efficiently to get everyone through the long line.

It’s Starbucks, nothing special. I wish their teas weren’t infused. Their green tea is infused with something minty in the Starbucks brand green teas which I personally would prefer without.
If you’re looking for a good snack the popcorn is very good!

Definately the friendliest batistas I’ve ever met. Not like fake friendly for tips, but genuinely happy friendly people. Plus, they always get my order right. Keep up the good work.

There was an accident and the responders blocked the exit. Understandable. But the people working here hurried and diverted traffic so we could all go out the wrong way and Get on our way. I am going go make it to work on time because of their quick thinking. Nice job Starbucks!

Attractive building. Drive-​thru and walk up window. No outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Open a little later than most Starbucks. Great warm coffees, but about half of the fraps I order are terrible and have to be remade. Once, even after remaking it, it was still terrible. Undrinkable. Had to get my money back. PLEASE you guys, fix your frap problems. I’d come every day this summer if your fraps were drinkable

Love this little Starbucks. The convenience of being able to get some snacks from Top Foods and my coffee is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and often have samples of food or drinks out to try new things.
