Bertolino Bros Coffee Bar

When I need to get out of the confines of my home and get somethings done I appreciate that bertolinos is opened all night. The drinks are fine. During the day this place can fill up easy which is a stage but I enjoy coming here time to time.

I usually go to this place often but recently went and they got my whole order wrong and it was something I couldn’t drink it was that bad. When I called to let them know they didn’t care, they were basically like that sucks have a good day. I was disappointed because their old baristas are not that way and do care if your drink is messed up. This is coming from a regular customer. I was very disappointed.

First first off service was fast, and then the coffee was also really good. I’ll be stopping in here again if I’m in town

This Christian, family run establishment is exactly what you’ve been looking for. Great assortment of hot and cold drinks, nice choice of delicious baked goods, scones, muffins. A great place to hang out and do some work, study or just socialize.

Great little spot on the corner with a limited menu for beverages and food but great service and I look forward to exploring the space more this summer!

I love this place. Great service and coffee, but the constant smell of burning bagels drove me away. Otherwise i d give it 5 stars.

1. It’s clean.
2. $ 3 for a stale slice of pumpkin bread. The barista admitted it was yesterday’s bread. And she just set it on the counter top, wrapped in plastic. No plate. No offer to warm it up. $ 3, please. And don’t forget to tip. Just fill in the amount right there on the screen before you sign.
3. Mocha was ok. Barista did smile.
4. Annoying Christian Rock music station playing way too loudly. Bad songs with five minutes of commercials every ten minutes of music. Enough already, play something different. Try streaming something — that’s what the Internet is for.
5. Great location. Big windows let in lots of light. Easy parking.
6. Old dude in the corner with the lap top coughing his lungs out. Sir, please cover your cough, this is s public space.
7. It’s clean.

Thank you Bertolino’s for being one of the few coffee shops that’s managed to stay around while others cafes have opened and closed faster than a new fashion tend (pointed long nails anyone?). This good and faithful coffee shop is open 24 hours a day which has been helpful in meeting up with friends at odd hours of the day. Just… thank you. A good tea and sugar-​free selection and two versions of sugar-​free white chocolate up in here! Boom!

Vanilla chai latte made earlier today was one of the best I’ve ever had. If I lived here, I’d come back over Starbucks or Panera any day!

Best little place ever. Such a comfy atmosphere. I love it. The people are so nice and engaging. The coffee is great, I always get a hazelnut frap with an extra shot, always consistent. Definitely my favorite place for coffee.

Disappointed in this place… Smells super burnt inside. Only one employee working and she did not greet me when I walked in. After small coffee shops as well as Starbucks always being so friendly, this is off putting. Cant speak regarding the coffee quality as I left without getting any. Not much to choose from as far as food aside from one bagel, cookies and what appeared to be sliced pound cake. Maybe just that day the options were limited. Who knows. One star the place gets for location bc it’s super easy to find and right off 16. Second star for good parking availability. But that’s all. I don’t think I’ll be back as there’s nothing that was pleasant here. I’ll just stick to the usual spots. I suggest you do too.

Pretty standard coffee shop. Was passing through, waiting for my ride. Coffee was about average and the wifi didn’t quite work. Open 24 hours though!

I love this little coffee shop! It’s got great coffee and tea, lots of outlets to plug into, and even a comfortable couch in addition to tables. The only downside is that there is no place to lock up my bike. Hopefully, the owner will consider putting in a bike rack.

They had one coffee maker and she was slow. The place is OK and I mighty give them another try but they did lose one star since they do not have a Barista who draws designs on the coffee — my personal opinion.
The other stars lost are primarily due to them allowing dogs in the place. I don’t know about others but I was not happy with a large dog — table size — sniffing my food — inside the restaurant. He was on a leash but the owner could care less and apparently neither do the employees.

Love this place! They have endless flavors, allow your doggie, always kind, and pretty fast! They are good at what they do, and they do coffee. It’s most impressive that at most times there is one guy in a full house. But he handles it sooooooo well! The baked goods are fabulous as well!

The only place I know that you can study literally all night long. I LOVE this place. Great drinks and tasty sweet treats. My only wish is that they served light savory snacks as well. But who really cares?! My dreams of a perfect coffee house have come true. Open 24 hours. I am an English major and this place meets all of my needs and most of my wants. So grateful!

I really like that this place is open 24hrs. That is super awesome. It’s the only place in Tacoma that you’re able to go inside and enjoy a tasty coffee at all hours of the day. I’m not a super big fan of their roast but I am a fan of the customer service, the quite and friendly atmosphere and OF COURSE the fact that’s open 24hrs! I’m not the kind of guy that goes to the bar on the weekends so having a place like this is perfect. I use to go to the 24ht cafes in Seattle when I lived downtown. I really wish there was more down south in Tacoma. Thank you bertolinos!

My nursing friends and I use to come here all the time to study. The atmosphere is great! Their staff is always warm and welcoming and can suggest great coffee for your liking. The coffee is amazing! Way better than Starbucks. I just wish they had a drive-​thru.

The coffee is surprisingly good. Especially their dirty Chia lattes. The ambiance is a very relaxing and inviting. Also the fact that it is open 24hrs is a huge plus from a student’s point of view.

The barista that helped me was very nice and friendly. However, I ordered a dry cappuccino and the drink she made me was much more of a latte than even a wet cappuccino. It also took almost 5 minutes for her to make the drink.
That being said, the coffee itself tastes very nice and the atmosphere here is great. I have had different baristas in the past who made excellent cups of coffee, this just wasn’t one of those times.
