Papa John’s Pizza

Wow. DON’T use the online ordering system. If you do, and they screw up the order they will NOT make it right since they didn’t take the order. The pizza they delivered is inedible due to husband’s sensitivity to tomato products. The pizza was ordered with the Ranch sauce. But they didn’t take the order so there’s NOTHING they can do about it. I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering. I won’t be again.

If I could give negative stars I would. That’s literally how bad this place sucks ! I highly recommend not wasting your time, yes the pizza is good but it’s not worth the headache. I ordered two small pizzas & two sprites & they told me it would be a 45 minute wait. ok?.. a full hr & a half later my pizza still had not arrived so I called to see what was going on & the guy puts me on hold for almost 10 minutes. Just for the manager to tell me they never finished my order & it wasnt put in !!! NICE. F for FAIL. I’ll never order from here again these guys sucks.

What a nightmare this papa johns has created lol. and they INVENTED online ordering? lol. First, No menu? hide the prices, a nightmare of BS marketing hoops to jump thru it seems, if you try the online stuff. Tons of flowery prose about papa, his pizza, ingredients, and how lucky we are to have him/​But, I want to see the prices, choices, sides etc. I looked over and over, can’t find a menu. oh well, totinos for a buck 29 at winco seem to look better every time I try to order anymore lol. Now I’m going to try to have my infor from the account removed, I really don’t believe they collect and store all thisinfo for no reason, with out ‘selling it”, but they might rent it, or let a friend who gives them money borrow it.

Pizza and cheese sticks was very good. I am from Kentucky and if you know anything about Papa Johns, you know that it’s from Louisville, Ky. The pizza there in Lakewood, was the best that I’ve had since Kentucky. The driver was very respectful and even brought me paper plates and cups, considering I was in a motel. Thank you for showing support the community and carrying on the tradition.

Pizza is always good but delivery is always always late– like at least 15 minutes and sometimes 45 minutes, even 2 hours late after the 40 minute quote one Sunday afternoon. I am actually waiting right now. 20 minutes past my 40 minute promised time… But it tastes great and not a grease bomb like PHut. Would give 5 stars if delivery was on time. Ever.

Our pizzas from here are consistently good! The service can be hit or miss but I don’t think it’s anyone’s life goal to work at a pizza joint, so I understand. They always seem pretty quick too.

It has been years since we ordered Papa John’s, that I had forgotten how they tasted, and no other pizza place seemed to have any really good specials but them, so we gave them a try this week, and we loved loved loved them.
The crust was perfect, it was not greasy, and it was not dry, the toppings and the cheese were wonderful, we will order again, like maybe tonight, because my mouth is drooling just thinking about their pizza! YUM!

I have never been so unhappy with a company before. Last night (Sept 13, 2011) in Tacoma, WA (the 72^nd St location) I ordered a Spinach Alfredo Chicken Tomato pizza (substituting the tomato for olives) and a Apple Pie for dessert. Was expecting it in 45 minutes, like the guy had said on the phone. 50 – 55 minutes later, a lady (Brianna M) drove up, delivering my pizzas. I signed my receipt and off she went. As soon as I closed the door, I opened the boxes to start eating and notice that I got TWO pizzas, two different pizzas, no dessert pizza. I run outside, wave down Brianna, who is still in my driveway… I’m in the yard, waving and she just drives off. Not sure how she couldn’t see me? Off she goes, and I called to complain and let them know I got 2 different pizzas. The lady who answered didn’t apologize, just told me she was sending the right pizzas out… it’ll be there in another 45 – 50 minutes! (Reason why I ordered was because I wasn’t able to eat the dinner I made for my family because of my acid reflex, so I decided to order PJ’s since they had a Alfredo sauce pizza instead of tomato sauce). I asked the lady if she can atleast refund my card, she said they’re not allowed to do that. She gave me «credit» at their location and said hopefully it’ll work (who says that?) next time I order pizza. I also told her to take the tip off that I gave the delivery person, and she said she would… I checked this morning and it came out my account, tip and all. She ended up getting a hold of the delivery lady and she had my pizzas in the car, so she came about 15 minutes later… with my semi-​cold pizzas. Demanding the pizzas that were a mistake BACK. Another, who does that? The least they could do was let us keep the ones they dropped off. Not pleased at all with the customer service I received here. I’m very dis-​pleased and besides my $ 19 and some cents of «credit» I hopefully have there, I won’t ever be ordering from there again.

This is our local Papa John’s so we order from this location and the food is always on point but it’s the orders that seem to get messed up or the communication or something? I will say that everytime they mess up the owner is always offering a discount or credit so I guess that solves the issue whatever it may be. Taking accountability of a mess up is far and few these days…

I have not had Papa John’s before, so I decided to give it a try. I have to say it is the best pizza I’ve had from a national chain. I also tried chicken strips with buffalo sauce, and it was very tasty also.
I ordered online for delivery from this location, and the pizza arrived on time. When I want pizza delivered when I’m visiting here in Tacoma, I will contact Papa John’s.
Delivery Fee is $ 2.50.

Really, the only big pizza chain I enjoy eating. I love their pan crust pizza with chicken and onions. SO GOOD.
