In line currently at the drive-thru speaker & sat at the speaker for 2 minutes. Radio silence. The line is moving in slow motion & no apologies for wait. Service is horrible. Even for a Jack n the Box.

So, I live fairly close to this one and when Shawn is working, I never have a problem. However, One good employee cannot make up for the stupidity of the rest. I was the ONLYPERSON in the drive through this morning when I ordered my sausage burrito combo with an iced coffee. First, let’s talk about the iced coffee… It literally tasted like cream and water… that’s it.(In the trash it goes, and I will likely end up with a headache from now not having my morning coffee. Now this is a drive through employee error as they are the ones who put together the drinks. Secondly, the hashbrown… ridiculously overcooked and cold to top it off… I ate it cause I was hungry, but let’s be real… after the disaster that was my supposed sausage burrito I would have ate rocks! I’m sure we all know where the blame lies on an overcooked hasbrown. Third — The«sausage burrito»…when I get to work and open my burrito the wrapper interior is covered in nacho cheese. I think«well, that’s weird, since they don’t normally put nacho cheese in a sausage burrito». I open up the tortilla to find I have been given one of their new jalapeño bacon burritos… and I literally HATE bacon. I’m not sure who is to actually blame for this one, since there was nobody there(seriously even inside the place was a ghost town) it could be the cooks fault for making the wrong burrito… or the girl working the window could have mistakenly picked up a burrito meant for an employee? Fourth — Management Time! I called the store to let them know they made a mistake. They offered to remake it however it’s not like I have all the time in the world to return to the store… I was 5 minutes from opening the doors at work, so I was going nowhere. Being as I rarely go to Jack in the Box anyway, I asked her if I could get the money refunded to my card. Her response? «Yes, but you need to bring the food back». OK, I literally already told you it was in the trash, now I have to dig it out of the trash, and keep it for maybe a week before I find myself at your store again?(and yes, I asked her this). Her response? YES!!! Are you freaking kidding me? Who wants to keep food around for a week to get their money back because they were given the wrong freaking food? If it weren’t for the ONEGOOD employee this place would get a negative 3 in my books! Just wait til I bring them back the disgusting burrito they insisted I hold onto for a refund!

Only doing a review on this place so you know what to expect if you ever go there. I live right down the street from this location and I’ve been there at least 10 times. I can only remember one time they ever got it right. I honestly don’t know why I keep going back, convenience and starvation I guess. Here are some experiences I have had with them MORETHENONCE: — Old food. Not old as in moldy, old as in no where near fresh. On multiple occasions I’ve ordered the spicy chicken sandwich(it is so good when fresh and tender!). Each time I got it from this location it was SUPER dry and damn near inedible. Old fries too. — Not getting the order right. Several times they have messed up my order. — Not having a menu item available. Nothing worse then craving something and them then telling you they don’t have it(this happened more then once at this spot!) Oreo Milkshake: AMAZING! Customer Service: The food is pretty sucky but they do have a lot of friendly employees working there.

I took my family by for a quick snack. We went through the drive through and the cashier got our simple order wrong. So at the window we tried to correct the order for 3 plane chicken sandwiches. They gave us our order and we drove off. When we checked the sandwiches they were not plane, so I returned to get it corrected. I handed the bag of sandwiches back to the manager for correction and she was very abrupt, rude and and unapologetic. So when I finally got to my destination, I opened up my grilled deli trio sandwich and it was missing the pickles. So in all they messed up 4 sandwiches and the manager was rude. This was my worst Jack in the Box experience ever.

This place is always filthy inside. The staff are usually kind of rude, even the managers. They rarely get your order correct. The seating area is really small and dark. The restroom always smells awful! I rarely EVER eat here anymore but used to work nearby and my boss always insisted I go pick up breakfast jacks for the crew. Otherwise I always drive to another JIB. I hate using their drive-thru because they’re so freaking slow here. Remember those TV ads from the late 70’s when they showed a hook & ladder fire truck going through the drive-thru on their way to a fire! The driver ordered and paid and the guy in the very back of the trailer in that little cabin thingy picked up the order, it was done that fast! LOL! Well, this JIB changed all that! Like Jack In The Box? So do I. But if you do, keep driving! The one out in Spanaway by the golf course is always much cleaner and has friendlier employees! 56th& Pacific is another good choice but with limited parking because the employees use up the spots.

Cashier was stupid. We told her we wanted Strawberry smoothies and she put strawberry shakes on the order. I noticed the difference in prices and I knew they had strawberry shakes there too… I told her smoothies and she said«You want smoothies instead of shakes» We never said we wanted shakes. It could’ve gotten ugly if it were someone else. But I bet most people wouldve just chugged down the shake and forgot they ordered a smoothie or noticed and didnt want to confront that the order was wrong. The 2 smoothies were the only thing on our order and she couldnt even get that right. Shake and smoothie sound nothing alike. She really needs to LISTEN to the customer orders. I normally go to the one closer to my house anyway… so not my problem after today.

If you want desert the milkshake machine is usually broken. Not too many healthy options at Jack in the Box. But if you do go, you can get the chicken pita, ask them to hold the cheese, They also have a mandarian chicken salad, that can be decent, just make sure to stay away from those high fat dressing packets!
