Always providing great service and delicious coffee. Out of all the different places to go, they are the ones I regularly stop at.

The girls working here are always SO rude and have the worst attitude every time I come here and buy coffee. I won’t be returning as a customer here any more. I have a punch card with Hazelwood Road and it takes TWELVE drinks purchased in order to receive one free drink with them. Today, I went to buy a coffee in addition to receiving the free coffee on my punch card. I ordered a 24 oz red bull sunrise with light ice as my free drink. Instead, they gave me a 16 oz with light ice. I was in a rush and didn’t notice the mistake until I got home. I placed a call to them to bring the mistake to their attention hoping that they would rectify the mistake. The girl I spoke with was rude and told me that they gave me an 8 oz smaller drink because I asked for light ice. Needless to say, I won’t be bringing my business back to this place who does not value their customers.

Great independent coffee place. They have some of their own signature drinks as well as the standards.
The ladies are always friendly and know how to make coffee.
The drive thru can back up a bit but it’s wort it and supporting a local business too.
Nice part about it is you can swing over to the car wash after you get your drink

This is my favorite coffee stand! I go out my way because of the friendly baristas and delicious drinks. I highly recommend a dirty vanilla chai and the strawberry-​banana yogurt parfait.

This place is the best! The staff are all excellent, even at 6:30 in the morning. Coffee is consistent, inexpensive, and the taste is superb. I’ve never waited longer than 5 – 8 minutes in line. This is all-​around a really great coffee drive through. I HIGHLY recommend!

This is my favorite place to get coffee! It is always consistently delicious. The service is amazing most of the girls know my order without asking. One of the only drive thru coffee stands with good food items that are good and fast. Pretzel melt is amazing. Once I started going to this place Starbucks wasn’t even good to me anymore.

Decent coffee. I drive by this little shack all the time and I finally stopped by to get a latte. The coffee was not amazing or unique, but it was good. I would not drive out of my way to get their coffee, but I would pull in for a drink if I was in the area and was craving a decent latte.

Not a bad little drive thru coffee hut. The times that I have been here service has been friendly and prompt.
I liked the mocha’s and chai’s here. I got the Spiced Chai and it was good but there was a fairly thick residue of powder on the bottom. Maybe that is what a spiced chai is supposed to be but I am more accustomed to the liquid chai mixes that other places use and that I use at home. Still it had a good flavor to it.
I got their waffle here for a sweet snack and that tasted very good! It got plenty of TLC during it’s creation and had a great cinnamon taste to it!

4 stars for service — 3 stars for quality — 2 stars for consistency, and 1 star for location.
The service is FANTASTIC.
I think that their coffee is served lukewarm, I don’t always remember to ask them to turn the heat up a little bit, and sometimes when I ask for it to be just a little warmer, they burn it. I’m a coffee fanatic, and I know that coffee should be served at 155 – 175 degrees F, my average cup of coffee here has been 127 – 132 F, only a few times has it been above 140 °F and the heat does not hold well, it gets cold fast.
The coffee flavor is good for a coffee stand, it’s definitely one the of the better stands in town. Their specialty drinks can be a sugar overload sometimes, depending on who makes your drink. I think that is one of my biggest hold-​ups about this place is it’s lack of consistency, it can really be hit and miss.
Because they serve food it can take a while to get through the line, and
it’s a pain to get in and out of this place.

Hands down, best espresso stand in Tacoma. I have been coming here for 8 years, and I won’t go anywhere else. The coffee is amazing, perfection! The service is outstanding… all the girls are super friendly, fast, and will remember your drink and name. If there is a wait, they always come out to my car and take my order, or even actually… see my car, start making my drink, and it is ready by the time I pull up!

Pretty standard coffee hut for the area, much better than the large chains but there is some stiff competition in the area.
They have a great little selection of pastries and sweets too.

When I moved to an Oregon city with multiple fantastic/​authentic all-​night Mexican restaurants, I watched with bemusement as cars queued around Del Taco for its grand opening. Similarly, I’m amazed anyone in Tacoma patronizes Starbucks when this place is just a few blocks away.
I’ve had numerous versions of «yours,» as the employees here knowingly refer to one’s custom drink. Once I’ve ordered the same thing twice, I’m asked during the next visit if I want it again. All six or so of the employees I interact with know my name, and I can’t say the same for all of them. Coming here is a good, personal experience.
The drinks are great; the food offerings are OK. I sometimes grab a bagel to go and have not struck out once despite the fact that I’m an early-​afternoon customer. This place is tailored toward commuters and offers food to fit the bill.
I initially dinged this place for what ended up being a positive. The kiosk is next to a busy-​in-​the-​summer car wash, and that annoyed me at first. Then I learned that I could sign up and get a free car wash for every 10^th drink I purchased. Most coffee kiosks, if they have any rewards program at all, offer a free coffee upon the 10^th or 12^th purchase. That’s worth, at most, $ 5 or $ 6. This one offers a car-​wash coupon that’s worth $ 10. If you visit every day, as I do, you have both a free car wash and an incentive to keep your vehicle clean coming every two weeks.
Hazelwood’s best attribute is its consistency. The apparent proprietor is great and hires baristas who consistently offer great service.

This place is great! My girlfriend boasts about how incredible her drinks are always made with such great flavor. They always know my drink even if I haven’t been there in weeks.

This is the BEST Espresso stand in Tacoma. I have been going to this stand since it was first built. The Girls are so amazing and cheerful. I drive all the way across town specifically to get my morning Mocha here, passing at least five or six other stands.
The service is always fast and friendly. Prices are extremely reasonable and they have a prepay system that works great for me. I have truly enjoyed the years of service this establishment has given me and I will continue to remain a loyal customer. I am all for keeping the small businesses in business. Giants like Starbucks and Tullys dont really deserve my money.

I am in town from LA visiting my family for a week and I have become a regular here for my morning pick me up (and to warm up bc it is effing freezing here!). This place is UH MAZING!
DRINKS: the decaf, soy, white chocolate mocha is my thing! Unlike the white mocha at Starbucks, this one is SO creamy and savory. My sister loves this place bc it offers like two dozen sugar free flavors INCLUDING sugar free chai! Her favorite right now is the sugar free almond. They also have fruit smoothies, ice cream milkshakes, and italian sodas.
FOOD: Being vegetarian I had the veggie omlett bfast sandwich which has egg, cheese, mushrooms, bell peppers and onions on an english muffin for $ 3. It was SOO nice to have a veg option on the go that was tasty, nutritous and reasonably priced. They have all the normal baked goods that you would expect-​scones, muffins, and cookies. For lunch they have sandwiches and bagel dogs (gross bc I am vegetarian… but if thats your idea of a good time…).
SERVICE: The baristas are SO friendly. After my first time there, Lilia (if I remember correctly) remembered my drink! They are fast, friendly and accurate! It is a drive thru stand so no bathroom.
PERKS: After you purchase 9 drinks, either the 10^th is free OR you can get a free carwash ($ 7 value). The best thing… they will file your card for you so you do not need to keep track of it.
It is a local shop owned by a husband and wife team; the wife runs the coffee shop and the husband runs the adjacent carwash.

This place has the best coffee ever! Super quick service and the girls working there are so super nice. I am always sad when I need a coffee fix and am to far away to go here! Nothing else compares.
Oh and I just had the pumpkin pie latte. Super delish!
