The absolute worst pizza place in town. I have ordered from them twice and this will be my last. I put in an online order at 5:40pm and it was supposed to be delivered at 6:24pm. I called them at 6:49pm and 7:26pm. At 7:26 they said my pizza just came out and is on its way to my house. All I ordered was a medium pepperoni pizza. Easy enough you’d think, right? When another 30+ mins passed I called back at 8:02pm and they said my pizza had just gone out for delivery. So it has been sitting there getting stale for 40mins? Oh no, they reassured me its in an insulated bag! Wonderful. I cancelled my order and will never try this place again. **UPDATE** after speaking with who I think is the boss or head manager, Akfar(cannot spell his name) he told me he would refund my money and credit my account so I would get another free pizza. Wonderful, right?! Well, I just called to order my free pizza and they said my account wasn’t credited. I then called Akfar to ask why and he said it was because I gave them a 1 star review on Unilocal.In order for my account to be credited, I have to update my review. Well, here is my updated review. Garlic Jim’s, you can keep the credit for the free pizza and use it to train yourself on how customer service works.

My experience was disappointing to say the least. My husband and I placed an order online around 7:00pm, and received our email saying our food would be «ready» at 7:40. We waited… and waited… and around 8:00 I began to wonder where our food was. My husband assured me they were probably just busy, and that it would be there any minute. We waited longer, and decided to call them around 8:30. A young woman answered, and explained that they were so busy that they forgot about their deliveries! She offered to have our pizza made fresh, but we declined because we didn’t want to have to wait 40 extra minutes. So we told her that the original«stale pizza»(her words, not ours) would be just fine if it got delivered within 20 minutes. She said it would, and again we were back to waiting. At 9:00pm, two hours after placing our order, we finally decide to just go get something else and call to cancel our order. To the woman working tonight, Thursday, May 26th, I’m sorry you guys got so busy. I’m sorry that the system for that restaurant are flawed and awful. And I’m sorry for any abuse you and your coworkers may have suffered tonight, and may suffer more often than tonight. I hope the owners of this business find a more efficient way to run their online orders. From my end it seems that’s where a weakness lies.

Staff is really nice. Pizza is really bad. Save yourself some cash and get a Red Baron, you’ll get the same result but it will be hot and you’ve spent $ 20 less

Came here for the vegan cheese. Huge waste of time and money. It would have been faster cheaper and less hastle to go to the Food Co op and make the pizza myself.

The website says the cheesecake is suppose to serve«two» When it arrived I saw that it was a tiny round cheesecake that serves one! I paid $ 4.99 for it, pretty disappointing. The sandwiches had barely any chicken on them and no ranch at all, they were burnt all around the edges and hard .The delivery driver was polite but the food and prices are horrible. I will never order from here again.

Pizza is not bad! Their gluten free selection is actually great. I am out of their delivery zone and pick up for me is 45 minute round trip. My problem is that my order is more often than not wrong and when I make the«mistake» of not checking my order, getting home, having the wrong food, calling back to get«well, it’s your fault for not checking and you just eat what you have» attitude. By the time I get back to pick up my original order it’s been sitting on a warmer for over and hour and I get to go home and eat my sort of warm over cooked $ 20.00 cheese pizza. No consideration or apology! Mistakes happen! Just take the steps to correct them and be pleasant/polite.

We ordered pizza from this location last night & we were pleasantly surprised! The pizza was delicious — from the sauce to the toppings! The customer service was polite & helpful. When we placed our order they made sure we got the best deal offered. I will definitely be ordering from Garlic Jim’s again.

Pizza wasn’t bad, wasn’t great. The«bones» are 2″ wide so I’m getting less pizza than I’m paying for. The salads are tiny for $ 5. But $ 16 for a supreme pizza that is 14″ with 2″ of crust is robbery. So the quality is «ok» but the value is terrible. And my delivery was late even though I scheduled it two hours in advance.

Gave this place a couple tries, thinking the first mess up was a fluke. I ordered two orders of BBQ wings, a large pizza, and two salads. They brought the pizza, and one order of hot wings, which were essentially just drenched with franks red sauce. When I called to get my delivery fixed it took 45 minutes to get it corrected(after waiting literally over an hour with the delivery kid calling twice to get directions the original delivery) and when they brought the dressing and salad they forget they were both filled about half way and thrown together as to say«f u» to me. Rude customer service when I called to talk to the Manger saying they don’t know the next time he’d be in. Not worth the trouble and frustration when paying an expensive price for nothing.

Who is the genius who realized that a restaurant can slap the label«gourmet» on an item and mark the price up 75%? Was it Garlic Jim himself? This gourmet pizza is pretty average. You can get the same pie at Papa John’s for 2⁄3 the cost.

Not good save your money I thought my BBQ chicken sandwich was my garlic bread no chicken big chunks of peppers and onions no cheese just an joke horrible won’t ever return my chicken bites were a joke all bread no chicken not to mention it was cold when I got it and gave a 5 $ tip atleast the driver was nice I guess u live and learn

Hands down the best pizza my family and I have ever tasted! No exageration, it is that good! My wife is not a pizza person, and she could not stop raving about it. As far as service, the team was wonderful and the service was fantastic! If I can give one sugestion, put tables on your restaurant so we can enjoy your amazing food right there on site.

Last night was quite the Garlic Jim’s experience. I think their pizza is decent but we had a rough adventure last evening. After putting in my order I ran some errands and got a call that they were out of Tomatoes. The employee asked if it would be ok to just finish the pizza without tomatoes so I asked about the price reduction for the lost topping. This turned into a 3 – 4 minute discussion on if they could do that and what that price might be. Well, I showed up and they gave me a receipt for the full amount to sign. I talked with them and they immediately made the adjustment. As it relates to the tomatoes, if I’m a pizza joint on Monday with football on, I’ll run to safeway or Tacoma boys and buy more but so far, I was fine with how it was done. This is when the dough hit the ceiling… they forgot another topping… ONTWODIFFERENTPIZZAS Yes, one topping was missing on the pizza. I called Garlic Jims and left a voicemail around 7pm and never got a call back. We’ve been eating the pizza and I know mistakes happen but hopefully I get a call back. I’m ok if it’s within 24 hours. Let’s go Garlic Jim’s, don’t let me down!

The Garlic Jim’s in our neighborhood went out of business so we thought we were going to do something great by bringing home the chicken bacon ranch to our kids who’d been talking about it for months. I have to have gluten free and it’s hard to find decent gluten free pizza, but this was not decent pizza. Over cooked, extremely over priced, and I think they forgot the ranch part. We dropped thirty bucks, discounted down from forty on the worst pizza we’ve ever had. I guess we know why they are going out of business.

Probably the best delivery pizza I’ve ever had. It’s a little on the pricier side compared to others, but the pizza makes up for it a bit. The crust is soft and chewy and crisp around the edges. Not too thick or thin and very flavorful. The cheese stayed nice and melty and didn’t congeal after a few minutes like with some delivery pizza. I didn’t have any problem with«charred» toppings. Like I said, they are on the pricier side, so I won’t be ordering again unless they have some good deals or coupons going on. The service was also friendly and it arrived quickly.

Started out as a bad experience but Garlic Jims turned it around. Ordered pizza and then received a call back that they were out of chicken so I reordered different pizzas. Because of the mistake, they made the new pizzas extra large and gave them to us for free. Exactly what all businesses should do to fix an error. Can’t wait to order this delicious pizza again. :-)

Never in my life have I been accused of stealing. Therefore you can imagine my shock as the employees of Garlic Jim’s insinuated at my doing so. I went to go pick up over $ 50 worth of food from«Jim’s»(before the discount) and I was informed by the Area Manger, Craig, that my gift certificates were«photocopied» and was hemming and hawing about honoring them. Yes they where old, I had just recently purchased them through a fund raising program at my children’s school, and from what I gathered by «Craig’s»: and the store manager’s conversation, who mumbled his name as he walked away, that the store was reopened and was a franchise before. Okay, so the certificates came from a franchise. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that photocopying is probably how the previous store owner made his certificates. So then as he is done insulting me by saying things like«I don’t know what to do with these and they are obviously photo copies» he begrudgingly accepts them. Oh it gets better dear reader, He was not going to give me change on $ 60.00 worth of gift certificates! I insisted for my change and after 20 mins I took my, now cold, mediocre pizzas and walked out of the door. I will never go to this«Jim’s», or any other one in «Craig’s» area again. I would rather go across the street to Farrelli’s for better pizza and, I know, MUCH better customer service.

Garlic Jim’s in Tacoma clearly creates some great pizza’s. Garlic Jim’s offers gluten free pizza… try it. Try the Garlic Pesto with Artichokes and dried tomatoes. It is excellent!
