Don’t buy from this store. I ordered items in June 2010 and still have not received them (in September), despite them debiting my account upon order. I have emailed them and left messages on the voicemail. I finally (after two months of not receiving the merchandise and not hearing back) contacted American Express to file a complaint. I just received an email from AmEx stating that they are refunding me the $$ since they haven’t heard back from the store either!

This is a really cute gift store in Downtown Tacoma. It has tons of great stuff for women, children, and babies. Not very much stuff for guys, but that’s okay – I went in there to buy something for my wife. They also have stuff from a couple of local jewelry designers, and it’s always nice to support Tacoma artists.

I felt compelled to write a review after the terrible customer service I encountered after purchasing something from Ever After’s website. I was purchasing a birthday gift for my best friend, and I thought it was a great deal, so I bought it (it was a beautiful wedding planning book). I made the purchase in late November… and here we are NEARING THE END OF JANUARY and she still has not received it! There were a couple problems: first off, when they first sent the package, the UPS delivery person apparently dropped it in a puddle and it got damaged. However, no one bothered to let me or the gift recipient know that there would be a delivery delay because of this. I waited patiently for weeks before I finally called them myself to figure out what was going on (since by then, the birthday gift was already a MONTH late!!) It was only then that they told me what had happened with the first delivery and that they were now out of stock. First of all, WHO THE HECK DOESN’T INFORM THEIR CUSTOMER OF WHAT IS GOING ON??? Shouldn’t they have emailed or called me when this first happened? Regardless, they informed me they would ship the gift out as soon as they received another shipment, and I asked them to expedite the gift to her since it was already late. They assured me that would happen. HOWEVER, it is now WEEKS later and she still has not received it. I checked the tracking number on the package, and it turns out they never expedited the shipping at all. What kind of terrible customer service is this??? I will never make a purchase from this company again, nor will I ever take a chance online with a store I have never heard of, just because it looks reputable. I suggest you do the same!

I just discovered this store, they have the cutest stuff! The staff is super friendly too! I’ll definitely be back for more purses. They also have adorable baby gifts.

This is a snazzy gift shop with yummy smelling Aunt Sadie’s candles, fun funky jewelry, kids items such as books, plush, princess and prince items, purses, and tons of other things I wanted to buy. Whoever the buyer is for this store really knows what they are doing. I found that the staff was very helpful and friendly and were excited about showing me all their new items. I will definately keep shopping at this local gem.

I love to support local businesses and I’ve been to this store several times. They have some very cute merchandise and it really is a lovely store. That said, the store’s staff is just unfriendly. There is a level of apathy higher than I’ve ever seen in any other retail store. It’s the kind of attitude you might expect if you were a businessman in a three-​piece suit walking into a biker bar. The store is ALWAYS devoid of customers, perhaps because the staff do such a great job of making people feel unwelcome; or, maybe the opposite is true — no one comes in, so the staff hasn’t a clue how to treat a customer properly. They do have a pretty slick website, however, so maybe that’s where they do all their business without all the pesky personal interaction. Oh well.

Great selection of cute and cuddly stuffed toys. I’ve ordered from them for various gifts a few times and the order is always delivered on time and the customer service is great.
