Sautter’s Five Star Market

I love the fact that you can go in there and not have to walk the length of a football field to get what you need. Sautter’s has «personality», great staff, a warm feel to it, and great food. Their quality of meat is also exceptional!
I’ve had a lot of people tell me that they would rather pay a little bit more and have a great shopping experience, than deal with Kroger or Meijer any day and I agree!
Too bad that there aren’t more stores like this around Toledo. Bigger is NOT always better.

Favorite grocery store… Home town feel… Good old fashioned service… Yummy sweets too!

Always shop Sautter’s at Sylvania for high QUALITY & friendly, efficient service and am so happy they now offer Crimson Cup Coffee… also high QUALITY and local OH company!!!

I had only been to Sautter’s a couple of times before but yesterday I went to get my neighbor a gift card. Tried their veal patties that were already made up — my family loved it. Will defintely go back again.

They don’t have a bar or pool table but Sautter’s is as close to Cheers as you get in Sylvania. It’s where mothers get part-​time jobs as cashiers and high schoolers learn to slice meat in the deli. Still family owned and run by Jim Sautter, Jim goes out of his way to say hello and help you find what you are looking for. If he doesn’t have what you need, just ask and he might be able to work his magic to get it for you. With the growth Sylvania has seen over the years, it amazes me that Sautter’s maintains their high level of quality, friendliness, and convenience. It is a true staple of my hometown!

Sautter’s was my first job when I was 16! This place really is becoming a rare breed of store. They have a killer deli and bakery. If you get there in the morning the whole store smells like donuts. This is the type of place you go to for specialty items like meats, wine or the aforementioned deli.

One of the few Five Star markets left in the area. Sautter’s has survived the onslaught of the mega stores by providing good service at a reasonable price. They put people first and work hard to gain your respect and business.
Sautter’s has quality meats, produce, and has greatly expanded their wine and imported food selection to gain advantage over the corporate giants like Krogers. The entire staff is friendly and very helpful.
A nice break from the big box stores!!!
