The ice cream is good and big positions. Went in early November and no one was there. The service is good too

My favorite place to get ice cream. Favorite flavor is Apple Crisp. Great place for cones, sundaes, and pints. All fresh and home made. Make sure to bring bug spray in the summers.

This place is so good I just want to die when I walk in and smell all the waffle cones… All the flavors are soon good(love coffee milk and I get pumpkin whenever it’s seasonal). And if it’s nice out you can go eat your large great valued waffle cone by the fence and watch the cows! Cash only. Also I drive 40 min to come here too many weekends.

If you love ice cream you’ll love The Ice Cream Barn. PROS: — Delicious ice cream made on premises from fresh milk. — Great selection of flavors including the classics and a few custom creations. — Excellent value for the money. Huge scoops for a very reasonable price. — Glad they are open throughout the year, not just the Summers like other local ice cream shops. CONS: — Location is hard to find, even with a GPS. — They only take cash.

Best ice cream and waffle cones around in Bristol County! I love that they always have the flavor cinnamon. It’s hard to find at other ice cream locations and they definitely make a good one. The atmosphere is great, indoor and out! Would highly recommend to family and friends!

Ok, the seasonal maple bacon ice cream? Seriously. I have a few pints hidden in my freezer. Unbelievable! So is their pumpkin.

The Ice Cream Barn uses milk produced at Baker Farm to make their ice cream. This was one of the places listed in «10 ice cream places to take your sweet tooth this summer» in the Fall River area. It is the 7th place from that list that we’ve visited. They also make their own waffle cones and waffle bowls. i saw the waffle bowls to late(I don’t usually do cones), but the girlfriend had a waffle cone. That, along with her Pumpkin ice cream made her a happy woman. I had the Coffee Milk ice cream with some hot fudge. A small is sufficient and it came out to $ 9.00 and change, which is pretty average across the places we’ve visited this summer. Inside is clean, the staff is friendly, service is about as quick as you could expect, and the ice cream is wonderful. Full of flavor, creamy and made by them. The Ice Cream Barn is a contender along with Helgers and Simcock Farm for the best of the summer. Give it try, you’ll be glad you did!

Nice job Unilocalers. From the moment you walk in, you are completely overcome with the smells of waffle cones and ice cream. You are welcomed to smiling faces who never fail to ask you if you’d like a sample or two. The flavors we tried(banana peanut butter cup, pistachio, mint chip, and mocha chip) were fabulous. And I must add that the freshness of the REAL mint in the mint chip was so delicious, that it made me sad to think about the monstrosity of the bright green store bought kind. Well worth the round trip of 40 miles and I look forward to going back.

FYI for everyone in the 21th century, they only take cash! Ice cream is ok. I actually thought that they would have better favors than they do. The ice cream was very soft and melty. Also found it to be very pricey! Don’t think we will be returning any time soon.

This place is excellent. I’m really impressed by the interior and how nice it looks with the granite countertops. The aroma of fresh waffle cones filling the barn makes me impatiently waiting. It’s also very clean and the staff is welcoming and helpful. The icecream is delicious and addictive and I will be here all summer! The only thing that sucks is that there is always a huge line and a filled parking lot.

#1 favorite place for ice cream, nobody else can compare. It’s homemade and they give you a generous amount! The staff is extremely friendly and offer samples. Can be a bit pricey but definitely worth it.

Seriously the best ice cream ever. I honestly do not understand that any review can be less than 5 stars. Tom & Jocelyn are the sweetest; this is definitely a place where names and faces are remembered and welcomed. I love trying their new & seasonal flavors. My bf and I come here very often and every time we leave with our ice cream cones we are just completely happy with life and whatever issues we may have had previously have dissolved. it’s almost magic! The smell when you walk in is seriously the best thing and just builds the anticipation so much more. We like to eat well and only consume«real» food. The ice cream barn uses fresh ingredients. Since discovering the ice cream barn, we just won’t eat any other ice cream.

The best ice cream I have ever had. My husband and I found the Ice Cream Barn last summer thanks to Unilocal and have been back almost every week since. The ice cream is SO good. It’s nice that you can sample flavors. My favorite flavors are Chocolate Peanut Buttercup, Peanut Butter Heath Crunch, and the limited edition Salted Caramel is SO good. My husband loves the Mocha Chip. I have sampled many other flavors and they are all excellent. The line moves quickly and it is cash only. The servings are very generous and the staff is friendly. Outside its so peaceful. Sitting on the bench looking at the fields behind the barn you almost feel like you’re in VT or up North. The Bulls and cows in the pasture across the street are fun to watch too. In the Winter they are open into Dec and you can buy your Christmas tree and get an Ice Cream. We stock up on a couple Pints to hold us over until they open back up in the Spring. If you can’t tell, my husband and I LOVE ice cream and now we only get it from The Ice Cream Barn.

This is quite easily the best ice cream shop around. They give you huge portions and everything is noticeably fresh and delicious. There’s no surprise that they are always packed every time you go so if there was any downside to this place is would be that you’d need to block off an hour to spend there as it’s no quick thing.

Homemade ice cream. I think the best in the area by far. It’s located off track. But so worth the ride. There a long horn cow farm that is so cool to watch. The ice cream is the best and they make there own waffle cones and bowls! The kids love it. The portions are huge! I’ve had the sugar free cinnamon and it’s so tasty ! You don’t even know there’s no sugar.

I’m probably one of the last people in the area to try The Ice Cream Barn, but I finally got there. As the name implies, it’s in a farm area with cows across the street. There’s a field behind the barn so if the regular parking fills up there is plenty of room around back. There are some wooden benches to sit and enjoy your ice cream but I’d imagine they would fill up fast when it’s busy. The service was quick and friendly and the barn was spotless inside. I got a scoop of the chocolate brownie chunk and a scoop of S’mores. I wasn’t a huge fan of the S’mores flavor because the graham cracker crumbs gave the ice cream a gritty texture that was a bit off-putting. The chocolate was good. My husband had the Cranberry Jubilee and really liked it. I tried a bite and it was pretty good. It’s definitely a bit out of the way, but worth the drive. I plan on visiting again to try some more flavors.
