Holiday Inn Express & Suites Superior

Our family stayed here last night and it was a disaster! We were on the first floor and a hockey team was upstairs– they were so loud! We called the front desk at 10:00, 10:30 and I went to the front desk at 10:50 to complain about the noise! Nothing was done! I was told that the team had just gotten back from their tournament and had ordered pizza so it would «be a while» before they were quiet!!! We paid to stay here too! I was sick! The noise started up again at 6:00 in the morning! Disgusted!!!

We stayed here for a girls weekend and the hospitality/​front desk could not accommodate our complaints. There must have been a hockey or basketball team also staying at this location. Consistently it sounded like the ceiling might cave in with the «elephants» stomping above us, running down the stairs, slamming doors and our own door rattling because of it. We complained twice and the noise continued. I’ll have to be in a dire situation to stay at another Holiday Inn especially if hospitality can’t do anything. Very disappointed.

Here for work and was greeted by the friendliest receptionist you could imagine. Rooms were clean and what I expect for the price. The wifi in this hotel however, is worse than dialup service in the 90s. So if you plan on doing work or streaming anything, good luck. Embarrassingly poor internet service.

This place needs better internet. Nice hotel but come on, dial up internet?

The room was nice and comfortable, although the entry hallway was really dark. I had to use a flaming torch to light my path on most nights.
The breakfast options were enough to satisfy, however the juice/​water machine was broken one morning. This, and this alone, completely ruined my vacation. I spent the rest of my day very depressed, and often contemplating jumping off the nearby interstate bridge into the chilly waters below. But alas, I pulled myself together and traveled home, where I now sit trying to re-​assemble the pieces of my shattered life.

Nice room. More of a suite (at least in this case) with couch/​pullout in sitting area, fridge, microwave, and extra tables/​desk areas. Admittedly, booked by a family member, so not sure of cost per night.
Typically, when I stay in more affordable hotels, I worry about germs/​bugs/​invisible creatures. However, I felt comfortable walking around in room with bare feet and sleeping under covers. Room came with bag of extra pillows and down like comforter.
Decent free continental breakfast. Served until 10:30 in weekends — nice for us late risers. Includes coffee, juice, bagels/​bread/​muffins, cinnamon rolls, sausage patties, individual sized pre-​made egg and cheese omelets, cereal, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes via an automated machine.
Only complaint — noise from hallway easily heard in room. Room by elevator tends to pick up excessive noise during morning hours.
