Park Point Marina Inn

This is my second time staying here and I’ll definitely be back for a third. Great view. Love the scrambled eggs and sausage.

Great clean hotel. Friendly courteous staff. Pool could be bigger along with main level seating area. Overall great hotel, great view on the lake side.

Location is great, view is wonderful, nice, clean rooms, they should be at $ 180 per night. But when I returned from a day of touring we discovered an item stollen from our room. It’s not the item they stole-​an unopened food that was with all our other food, it’s that someone on staff feels they can steal from quest and go in unnoticed.
Not what I would expect.

We have high standards on a lower standard budget, but this place impressed us both! The shuttle driver was funny and interesting to talk to. Adult hour from 10 to 11 in the hot tub was nice.
The front desk made me a late night pizza, the room looked new and clean, direct tv, even a cute little newsletter at our door in the morning. Convenient, comfortable and friendly. We hope to come again.

As soon as I heard the words, «We were able to accommodate your request» upon check-​in, I knew we were in for a good stay. The request had been for a room with a harbor view. It was stunning as we were there at both sunset and sunrise.
The complimentary breakfast was more than I expected and it meant we didn’t have to go looking around for somewhere else to go before a full day of discovering Duluth.
Our room was clean and welcoming. The location, within walking distance of the Aerial Lift Bridge, meant we took advantage of an early morning walk to Canal Park. Shuttle service is available during the evenings to take guests across the bridge to the local business district. Having opened just over a year ago, Park Point Marina Inn is a wonderful addition to the area.
Even though Park Point Marina Inn was not our first choice before we arrived I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Duluth. I know I’d stay there again.

Great location and great price. Everything at this hotel is brand new and in working order. The breakfast was pretty good and they kept it well stocked. We stayed in room with a harbor view and while foggy for most of the stay, it made for a unique experience for us. The staff was very nice and willing to accommodate our needs. I highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

I am thoroughly pleased with my stay at this hotel! The view is beautiful. The rooms are clean and smell fresh! This hotel overall is very clean. The sauna, hot tub, and pool are excellent as well. I have not been disappointed by any aspect of my stay FIVE STARS!!! The breakfast is pretty decent as far as hotel breakfasts go. We all got very full on the best kind of breakfast (free) and went out on the town. In Duluth, I have stayed at many hotels and this is by far the best experience ever!

We planned a last minute trip up to Duluth and decided to stay at Park Point Marina Inn for a night. This is the best decision we’ve made. Very friendly front desk staff welcomed us right away once we entered the lobby. Very clean and spacious room with a nice porch. Fair price with great location, too. We’ll definitely return when we go to Duluth again!

Nice hotel but you can’t smoke on the property. I didn’t smoke in my room or on the balcony. I was outside and picked up every cigarette butt. I wouldn’t stay here again just because of that.

5-​star all the way! We came up from the cities for a quick getaway, and were just looking for an inexpensive place to end the day. Driving up, I was fully expecting a cookie cutter chain hotel experience, but not so! They’ve really thought of every detail. Classy finishes, spacious rooms, beautiful colors, and small but super useful amenities (USB plugins by the nightstand, fridge and microwave tucked away under the TV, a separate coffee station that’s not on the bathroom sink) But the best part is the small deck off of nearly ever room. Whether your room is harbor view or «city view» (read: nice view of parking lot) it’s nice to have a few yards of outdoor space attached to your room.

This is the best place to stay. Hotel is awesomely clean, the staff is great, and the area is good. The Canal area in general is $$, but there is a park farther out on the point to look at the harbor and boats, and a small park 2 blocks to go dune side to look at the lake. Will always come here when in Duluth.
