Hands down the best location in the Bay Area. Fresh bread, brewed sweet tea and a clean seating area. The staff deserves all the credit. Top notch crew all the way. Being a regular had its advantages, staff knows what I want before I’m in the door. Plus they always make sure my order is done correctly and fast so I can get in and out fast. See you tomorrow. Hasta mañana

This subway gave me diarrhea! This is the second time I’ve been here and the first time I ate here I got diarrhea. I figured it was something I ate the night before. Well sure enough I’ve blown the bottom right out of my pants again. There’s something wrong with this subway. Don’t eat here unless you want to crap your pants shortly after.

This location was pretty awful. The lady didn’t understand that I wanted my sandwich toasted after all the toppings were inside it and she had to ask two people and was still confused so I said screw it. I also asked for pepper on it and even made a hand signal like I’m shaking a pepper-shaker and I got bell peppers –___– I didn’t feel like trying to communicate with them at that point so I said screw it and paid for my sandwich and left. I’ve never had issues with any other Subway until this one and I will avoid it at all costs.

I’ve come to this Subway for a couple years, and at best I would have rated it 3 stars. Not a great value for your money, but good enough that I came for lunch now and then. Since the last time I visited, they raised their prices by a dollar for all the subs I used to get(though not a dollar across the board, I think). $ 6.25 for a footlong meatball is very, very much not worth it. Two stars instead of one because the staff is very nice and the place is clean.

I went to this location on Sunday 10÷2÷11 and had the best service I have ever had at any Subway. Both of the guys working were friendly and quick. I frequent Subway locations all around the bay and this was definitely my best experience at any of them. I just wish they would serve breakfast sandwiches all day, the egg whites are so yummy!

This is probably the last time I go and buy one of their sandwiches. I ordered a mesquite chicken sandwich that just ended up all soggy by the time I ate it. It was not tasty at all, and the chicken tasted like it was just defrosted.

Thumbs up for this location! Hands down my favorite Subway in the entire area! Unlike a couple of the more critical reviews, I’ve always received great service from the staff here. I do have to say though, please keep in mind that it’s a freakin’ Subway! Of course they get busy during the lunch and dinner rushes, of course they DONOT have a drive-thru, and of course they don’t just give out free subs… shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody(sorry Beno H.). I tend to avoid the rush periods, but most always the store is clean and the crew is ALWAYS polite. They always build my sandwiches to perfection and they’re not super stingy with the toppings if you ask for extra(like MANY other Subways are). I have never had a bad experience here and I come here faithfully. The language barrier that people speak of is highly exaggerated in my opinion as I’ve not had any problem communicating my order to any of the staff members. Common sense: as long as you can pay attention to details on your own order, you should have no issue guiding them through it without incident. If you see them reaching to add something you don’t want on your sandwich(like oil, for example, Bob C.), either stop them or take their gracious offer to redo your sandwich(instead of dropping only 2 stars for something they offered to fix immediately but you decided to decline). Sorry if I’m calling anybody out personally here, but I hate when people write unfairly bad reviews for issues that they themselves failed to address when they could have(not understanding the $ 5 Footlong Menu, them not giving out free food and not taking the initiative to express your order when it’s apparent it should be done… just for example). This location deserves a pat on the back for the quality of work they do. Sure it’s just Subway, but how often do you have a really perfectly built, perfectly delicious Subway sandwich just the way you asked? Think about that question, then grab a sub here.

the $ 5 footlong offer is _very_popular right now. i took advantage of it a couple of weeks ago and returned to do it again today. i could not even get a parking spot in this subway’s little parking lot today. i had to park across the street and run over. i’m confused by the $ 5 footlong offer. it’s supposed to be _any_footlong sub sandwich, right? but the fine print excludes double. stacked subs and«premium subs.» however, what are premium subs? i noticed that on the menu, some sandwiches are marked with a $ 5 logo. it’s not just _those_that qualify, right? i _believe_that’s from the _old_$ 5 footlong offer. i believe, with the current offer, i can order most of the sandwiches on the menu. i’m confused. even though last time i ordered a chicken teriyaki(which doesn’t have the $ 5 logo), _this_time i stuck to ones with the $ 5 logo. i can’t emphasize enough how crowded and busy it was. i like how they offer to toast your sandwich. that’s nice. i know they started doing that to compete with quiznos. when it comes time to add the toppings and veggies, there is one guy that always asks you what you want as if most people _don’t_ just say«everything.» then there’s the girl who pretty much assumes you want everything, which i figure is the obvious choice. i always have to ask specifically for jalapenos though. well, i’ll give this subway 3 stars. if it had more parking and a drive. thru and gave me free sandwiches all the time, then i’d give it 5 stars. i appreciate that they accept credit cards.

I wanted to order several large sandwich platters for a get-together a couple months ago. I figured I would choose this place because it’s on my way home. When I called to place the order, I couldn’t speak to anyone who spoke English well enough to understand my order. I figured that I would just stop by early and place the order in person. When I arrived, it was the same problem. The two workers just looked at each other blankly as I repeatedly tried to tell them what I wanted, even pointing at the take-out menu that clearly indicates the existence of said party platter. This was the response: «Do you want to order a sandwich?» Arrrgh. I took my business to the Subway at El Camino and Henderson. It’s a much better operation.

I would say that I frequent at this Subway location because it’s convenient, their food(i.e. bread, meat, veggies, cookies) is always freshly made every day and most importantly I like the staff that works at this location(very friendly). In the past, Subway had those Atkins Wraps, which were delicious so when I went in this morning and asked about it. the guy that works their often was very nice and actually offered to make me one even though the item doesn’t exist on their menu anymore. So, I give 5 stars all the way. And whenever you want a sandwich with specific ingredients the staff will ask you more than once before they put things on randomly so you get that 110% satisfaction guaranteed. You just have to make sure that you and the staff is on the same page and communicate clearly for them to understand you.
