I come here often for a quick Filipino meal when I’m in town. I’m a sucker for their adobo and sisig dishes, though I’d like to eventually try most of their menu. Friendly staff and satisfying food– not much more I could ask for!

Came here if i would like to eat the Fu yung hai dish since only few places offer it. Mom and pop eatery places. They also have the philipino dessert suman. They do deliver to surrounding area.

This place has good filipino food. I love it! I never tried their chinese food though. The price is decent for the amount of food. Filipino breakfast here is a must! Inside has like 3 tables. It isnt very big. A great hole in the wall.

Oily, bland and not so good. It came on time and doesn’t look like it isn’t good. Something tells me the Filipino food is way better than the Chinese

Sweet sour chicken was ok/good. The mixed vegetable chicken was not our taste, maybe its authentic, but no one wanted to finish it. Friendly staff and food was ready very fast.

Very greasy and oily food. I got catered at work and was excited to see the amount of food for everybody and the variety. But even the green beans that were supposed to be healthy were soaked in oil. The rice was low end and the noodles were better than expected. I felt heavy the whole afternoon.

They make the best Laing and Chicken Sisig — Sarap! No, I am not Pilipino. I am old fat white guy and an honorary Pilipino. I am married into the culture. My Filipina Asawa has introduced me the fine cuisine. This is good, fresh food. Yea, they do Chinese food there too, but I have never tried it. When she doesn’t want to cook, this is the place that we go to get our dinner. If you can, get a menu and call ahead. Good Filipino food can not be cooked in two minutes. Although I enjoy the good candies while we wait.

We ordered the Szechuan chicken skewers, kungpao chicken, and fried chicken wings. The fried chicken wings came out completely charred. The chicken skewers were cold and hard as bricks, and the kungpao chicken should more accurately be called water chestnut with sauce garnished by 12 bites of chicken. Fool me once… Very disappointing.

My go — to place for a quick Filipino food fix in Sunnyvale. — Laing: Spiciness is on point — Sinigang: Sour — just the way I like it. Needs more meat. — Tocilog, Longsilog, Bangsilog: Can’t get wrong with these. — Tortang Talong: Too much eggs IMO Conveniently located right in the corner of Reed/Wolfe. Place is small with only 3 – 4 tables. Best to order ahead of time for pick up. They also deliver with $ 25 min purchase.

The epitome of meh, oily, tasteless Asian food I don’t care for. Catered at work. Veggie stir fry — Good range of veggies. Way too much oil. Way too little flavor. A shame because they included some of my favorite veggies. Rice — You know how when you were a youngin and had your cool treehouse clubhouse with a «no boys allowed» sign? Yeah, they should put up a «no spices allowed» sign. The rice was rice with a couple tiny pieces of carrots and peas. There were also non-veg options that included beef, noodles, and egg roles. In summary, I ate oil for lunch. If I were a car, I’d be ready to go. Instead, I’m just ready to go eat a better lunch.

We used to live not even 5 minutes from MagicWok, and we were so spoiled. I could order my food just as a I was walking out of the house and know that fresh, hot, home cooked food would be ready in no more than 10 – 15 minutes. I think the most I’ve had to wait for food was maybe 25 – 30 minutes for a pick up order. And at least MagicWok is clear about how busy they are. They’ve never given me a run around. The variety of the Filipino and Chinese, with different breakfast, lunch and dinner also just made MagicWok our go to local restaurant. My daughter who is 4 just loves the sinagang! So for me, those three things: 1) good food with variety 2) timely made pick up orders 3) just over all goodness for a local and family run business is my win, win, win… We don’t live in the area anymore, but we’ll still make it a point to go to Sunnyvale occasionally and get MagicWok.

I’ve always wanted to try this place. Tapsilog Bistro in Campbell set the bar high but I was looking for some place closer to home. Alas, my search continues. The garlic rice wasn’t. The eggs did not look that appetizing. The lechon in my silog had bones and cartilage. My kids were not impressed with their Lumpia Shanghai or the longanisa. However, the tocino was well received by them and the wifey. This place is really geared towards take out as available seating was minimal. It didn’t look all that clean. The back counter was a bit messy with papers, etc. My search continues…

I got take out here, the Mongolian beef and white rice. Came in 2 little Asian take out boxes. Food was pretty good, slightly strong tasting(salt). Could do with a little less flavour, from both a taste and health perspective. I ordered small for both the dish and rice and it was more than adequate for 1 person. Total for all that was under $ 10, which was a very pleasant surprise. Ambience looks like a mom and pop Asian restaurant, which I love, because I like supporting small businesses. I really wish restaurants would stop using those take out boxes. They’re extremely hard to eat out of because they’re so skinny and tall.

Extremely well-priced. Free delivery with minimum purchase Would be 5 stars if dishes were made more consistently. Also, ordering first doesn’t mean getting your food first. Be prepared for that. Some dishes do take longer than others to prep, namely Wonton soup or things with dumplings. Avoid the Chinese menu, it is kinda meh. Fried rices and noodles are ok, yet the a-la-cart plates are not up to par with other Chinese places. Heavy competition. This place shines for its Pinoy Breakfast(available all day) as well as offering free delivery with a minimum purchase. Great for large workplace orders you need delivered. If you work with Filipinos, show them the website and order a huge delivery.

I placed an order over the phn a few weeks ago for a delivery to our church missionaries since it was a busy night for me and I wasn’t able to have dinner cooked for them. They loved the food and it was very easy to place the order and it was delivered within 45 minutes. Would definitely order from here again =)

my second time with them. first was for pick up and the food was ready when we arrived. 2nd was for delivery and it arrived earlier than expected! The delivery man was very polite and kind. The food is awesome, tastes like authentic filipino food! They are now my officially emergency restaurant to go!(very close to our home!) Thank you for your service and great food!

Great service, good tasty food and reasonably priced. My favorite is the Combination fried rice. Rice is always fresh and well seasoned. Will definitely will be back. Salamat!

Yummy place for Filipino food. Originally came here because I thought it was a branch of the popular SoCal magic wok but it appears unaffiliated. Place is hole-in-the-wall restaurant with only about 3 – 4 tables inside so I suggest getting to go since there wasnt any empty tables when I was there. The inside is sparsely decorated and just looks outdated. They cook it after you order, not exactly quick fast food. They have plenty of choices as well, but I suggest you stick to the Filipino menu rather than the Chinese one. I brought my Mexican friends here and they did not have a lot of experience with Filipino food but they loved it, especially the beef dishes.

New to Sunnyvale, so trying to find our go to Chinese delivery place. Unfortunately this is not the place. For two of us we ordered: pan fried noodles with chicken and veggies, general tsu’s chicken, crab rangoon and egg rolls. The noodles were good, but everything else was pretty terrible. Crab Rangoon’s were tiny and tasteless, the chicken tasted like it was mixed in orange soda, the egg rolls were slightly burnt and otherwise tasteless. Also, the sweet and sour sauce looked and tasted more like red koolaid. Delivery was pretty fast and ordering was easy, but for two non-picky eaters who have experienced some bad Chinese delivery before. Tonight’s dinner was not worth paying for.
