Great pizza and excellent service. I didn’t have to wait for my order any more than 5 minutes and everyone working was so polite. Not to mention the pizza was DELICIOUS!!! I will definitely be going back and recommending this location to my friends and family.

Worst ordering system per phone! We called 5 times and 4 times they dropped the call and then put us on hold for too long. Finally, we gave up on the last call and went somewhere else.

Awesome yummy and fresh pizza. All my friends loved it! We ordered CYO with our favorite toppings. Loved the take n bake style. The marinara bread was okish.

I got sausage, mushroom pizza with white sauce. There is something unique about baking and enjoying fresh off the oven pizza. Crust was decent.
OK price for the experience.
Couple of things I would change is have additional sausage even if I have to pay extra for it. it seems sparse. also the white sauce was too salty for me. My be will try marinara next time.

Wanted a thin crust pizza and found Papa Murphy’s on ECR. Ordered a Chicken Garlic Family size and was disappointed. It tasted good but the lack of toppings was a bummer. It was more like an $ 8.00 pizza not a $ 16.00 pie. I may try them again, we’ll see. Maybe just a bad night. It was ready when promised and I was in and out in a flash.

Terrible service last night. As A walk-​in I expected to be bumped by phone order pick-​up, but it was a mess! Two people working a Sunday night, one was training the other was frustrated by being left short staffed and was rude to the trainee.
I asked why the owner had not been called and was told they were on vacation.
I had already paid and as I watched the same 12 orders be shuffled and restacked and placed out of order, I knew it would be a long, long wait.
After asking for a refund 1.5 hours into my wait, I was offered a «free» pizza but the kids behind the counter are not allowed to give those away — so I was asked to return and see the manager for the freebee. That will not be happening anytime soon.
Terrible organization, service and follow-​up.
Owner — vacation may have been earned, but you need to train your employees better and allow them to make on the spot decisions when things get out of control, such as stop taking orders and get caught up on making Pizza’s; place orders in the order they are received (why don’t you have a place to put said orders?); allow kids to hand out free pizza coupon on the spot instead of being asked to come back and lastly, I should have been offered a free coke or cookie dough. I just want you to know that our 15 year tradition of coming to Papa Murphy’s is over.

Over priced. Quality ok, better at most chains, e.g. Papa John’s, and many non-​chain restaurants serving pizza. Local management at this site very rude. Try to cut corners on almost everything — no specials, coupons, etc.

I used to really like Papa Murphy’s, but the last time we picked it up, it was just okay. Nothing to write home about, and for the price, I would rather head over to Pizza Studio and build my own pizza with unlimited toppings and have them cook it for me.
Would I come back? Probably not

Update: Ordered the same pizza last week — awful.
Almost zero cheese, not much meat — called to complain.

Do not come here! I called in advance and was told 15 minutes. I get there and only one employee working which was fine until 4 more customers came in and since he was taking everyone’s else’s order I had to wait 15 more minutes. I understand he was alone so I don’t blame the guy, but it’s a Friday night they need better management. After cooking our pizza we tasted something funny we couldn’t really distinguish what it was until we realized that the bacon and chicken were past their prime; the ingredients were old and made the whole pizza taste terrible.

Worst customer service I have ever had at any pizzeria. I walked in to grab a take and bake, hoping it would be relatively quick and easy, I ended up leaving with nothing.
The older lady behind the counter was making a pizza when I came in, there was no one in line and I thought I scored because no line meant no wait. I was wrong and in fact not one of the 3 employees acknowledged me in the 10 minutes I stood right in front of the counter. The manager didn’t have time to greet a customer but she did have the time to tell a regular customer that her crew was the «worst she ever had… so lazy. I really need some better help.»
I have worked at 5 pizza restaraunts in my life (including this very Papa Murphys store) and never have I seen so many dirty bins and tubs of ingredients stacked in a work area before. It looked like the dirty dishes had a litter of babies and they took over the entire restaurant What the place needs is a new manager, I ended up going into Safeway and buying one of their brand pizzas to bake at home.
Huge disappointment, if I ever try Papa Murphys again it will be at a different location.

I will only buy pizza from Papa Murphy. It is fresh and I can cook it at home whenever I want so it is hotter than delivery stuff. Also they give you coupons for $ 2 or $ 3 off on each visit.

Lost my order on super sunday. Told me it was going to be an hour wait, so I left and returned. They had possibly given my order to someone else. Instead of just making another one they looked for a few minutes then would go back to making other orders. It would only take them about 60 seconds to assemble a pizza. I dont know how there could be so much confusion. The kid with the glasses taking orders is asleep at the wheel. The guy with the tattoos on his arms is fast and seems to care the most.
Two hour wait total.
Give myself one star for not leaving sooner.

Now here’s one of the best kept secrets!
After talking with friends about looking for a new pizza place with good thin crust
pizza, two friends highly recommended the Papa Murphy’s.
I’ve been by there over a hundred times and never even realized it was there.
They do an outstanding job on their Thin Crust pizza. I think it’s called their
Delite pizza, or something along those lines.
Sure you have to bake it yourself. But you get it made up fresh to order.
We were able to get a great pizza made just the way we wanted it.
It turned out to be one the the best pizzas we’ve had a long time.
All in all, we’ve found this to be much better quality pizza than that found
in some of the other chains.
It’s a good location and not much of an interior. But then again, they
don’t expect you to eat there. Parking is easy
We’ll definitely be going back.

I waited half an hour for one pizza. Only two people ahead of me. It seemed like the people working were brand new. There was absolutely no sense of urgency or efficiency.
It takes 5 minutes to get my pizza at the San Jose location and they are friendly. I should have just gone to that one. So should you.

Good pizza, fast service, friendly workers.
I’ve been here multiple times on-​and-​off over the years, and the pizza is still good for the price.
I went in for one of the chicken pizzas that was on the December special, and it tasted pretty good. I personally like the white sauce pizzas over the red sauce pizzas at this place.
I’ll of course be returning sometime in 2013.

Whenever I’m craving pizza, I come here for their herb chicken mediterranean deLite. It’s not as healthy as a home made pizza, but with healthier fats from olive oil, along with ingredients like spinach, sun-​dried tomatoes, feta and their wafer thin crust it beats pretty much everything offered by the other chain pizza places. On top of that a family size is only $ 11 (or $ 9 with a coupon), so even better!
For best results (with the thin crust… haven’t tried the regular crust because it’s just empty calories), we preheat the oven to 450 degrees for 30 – 40 minutes before putting in the pizza (and lowering the temp to 425 degrees). This way the crust comes out really crisp.
Staff is extremely friendly. You can place your order over the phone and pick it up, or if you place the order in-​store then it’s usually ready within 5 – 10 minutes depending on how many other customers are placing their order at the same time.
I’d give em 5 stars if they didn’t use the same «fake» chicken (breast chicken mixed with rib meat, potato starch etc) as the other chains.

I’ve been to other Papa Murphy’s locations, both in surrounding cities and higher up in the north bay. They’re all been consistent… except for this one.
There is something about the pizza sauce that I just can’t stand. The flavor is awful, and overpowers any and all toppings you put on it. When I have the misfortune of eating a pizza purchased from this location, I pull up the toppings on my slice and scrape as much sauce off as possible. Even then, the rest of the pizza is tainted with that horrible flavor.

Love that I get coupons for this place. $ 3 off a family size pizza? I’ll take it. It can go to my morning addiction — Starbeez.
Papa Murphy’s pizza is great and cheap. My 3 star rating is because this location is so small. There’s only one bench, and when we arrived someone was already occupying it. I don’t think this location can handle any more then 6 people inside its store and even that is pushing it’s waiting capacity.
