Think of every movie you’ve ever seen that has a real shît-​hole Mexican dive bar in it and this is «Magos» («wizard» in Spanish).
Long bar up front, Pool tables and Cards in the back. AWESOME fresh food from the abuelitas who run the open kitchen at the end of the Bar. Beer only, no hard liquor.
«Magos» has a mix of hard-​working (and harder drinking) immigrant types, and the fine, fine «Employees» from the establishment (You’ll see) next door.
Awesome rowdy atmosphere. Mostly safe. NOT a first-​date bar. Unless you like that sort of thing. I’m usually the only Gringo in the joint after nightfall. Enjoy!
