Got curious about this place because of its name and its look. I stopped by to try and ordered chicken tikka. The portion is small, which I like. The taste is acceptable.

I took malai kofta and naan. Food was not good. Malai kofta taste like tomato purée with preservatives. Very small portion for the price. Good — Decent ambience — Veg option Bad — Food is not good. — Very small portion.

Some businesses never learn to go to the next level of greatness to grow. In Spite being one of the earliest customers and a regular over the years, the manager asked more money to add 2 spoons of yogurt to the spicy chaat they made for my young daughter. This after we asked for a non spicy version. They spent more time arguing that we should have insisted for really non spicy chaat and that I needed to pay more money rather than please a customer who has a regular for many years as well as given them tons of corporate business. Only when I raised my voice and said it was my right that they replace the dish or refund my money as they didn’t cook the dish that was specified, they agreed to replace the dish(as the manager noticed other customers taking an active interest in our conversation). Bah ! 2 thumbs down if I could rate it that.

Visited this place for the first time this week. When I told the person at the cash counter that I wanted food without milk products, they cooked the chana saag without cream, and gave me masala chai with soymilk. The chef even called out from the kitchen saying«no problem». I Could not ask for more. Food was so delicious that I ordered more of the same to go. Very courteous and friendly staff.

Our go-to place whenever I don’t feel like cooking. We’ve ordered chicken biryani, veg biryani, veggie and paneer wrap and paneer paratha. All good. We also like to take their kulfis to-go.

Pros : — Food is good — Good options for vegetarians — Variety of different Indian snacks Cons : — Person who handles the counter doesn’t know how to handle customers, inexperience in customer service — $$ a bit on the higher side

This is regarding one of the worst experience I have had and the customer service was pathetic and on top of it arrogant. Ordered on lunch entre which comes with Plain naan. Had requested to substitute the regular naan with stuffed naan assuming I will have to pay the difference. Unfortunately, they charged the whole price of the other naan and they said they will not give the regular naan which was part of the menu. When questioned, they told this is how the system works and either I take it or leave it. Felt really frustrated and will not be coming back just for the rude service.

I usually go here in weekends for my lunch and dinner. They are typical Indian restaurants in bay area. Their food is not at all different from what you would expect. I am not saying that its bad, just dont have very high expectations. The tea is not good so avoid that. They have lots of choices, vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian. The dinner/lunch plate is usually enough for one. The place is not very big only 8 tables inside and a couple more outside, if I remember correctly, the service is pretty fast so you can order to go.

This place truly deserves two stars. I have been there twice and ordered few different items to try. First off their Qty is very small. Their chicken wraps are very BASIC, just take a naan and roll in the chicken curry, no lettuce, onion, cheese, no frills etc. Their dinner plates are small too. main course(paneer or chicken curry) was tasting good, but again qty was so small. Dinner plate comes with two naan a little rice, 3 tbsp saltless Daal(really just 3 tbsp !!), 3 tbsp of tasteless chole ! Service is OK… The cashier always asks whether we have cash, even if we are spending upwards of $ 26.00. It is clearly written in a notice board that«we need cash for bills below $ 10.00» I call that unprofessional !

Nice ambience. Well known for chai. Chile bature is good but bature is not as delicious and crispy I expected. Had high expectations. Pricey same as any other Bay Area chat cuisines. Chole tikki chaat is just ok.

Came with an Indian colleague for a Thursday lunch since he strongly recommended it. He said this restaurant has the best naan he ever tried in bay area. We ordered Malai Kofta Curry and Kadai Paneer with plain naan. Super good! There’re plenty of seating space. The ordering is easy. You can see what you order on the cashier’s screen. Total is around 38 bucks including tips. Food is fresh and tasty. The curry comes with rice and naan. Portion is generous and it provided enough energy for afternoon’s work. Would come back again and try more dishes.

The chicken wrap is soo good, next time I’ll have to try something else but each time I go I get the chicken wrap. I’m hooked and they get the food to you on a timely manner. If you’re looking for a quick meal, this is the place to go!

Love this place! Love Ambience! The tables, the music, the customer service I received when ordering. The Aloo Tikki is two little patties of deliciousness! I also love that they have a huge variety of teas, hot and cold. Tazo yum!

Super slow service during lunch. They have full staff working in the kitchen and front counter but orders are slow with people just talking to themselves. The place is nice & clean but with this kind of skis service for lunch, I won’t be coming back.

Grossly under-staffed and very slow service. Line out the door. Phone ringing and one person unable to cope. Please go somewhere else. Lots of better Indian places in the area with superior service.

I had a chicken tikka masala wrap or something and it was nice and warm and tasty. Worth the money I’d say, and even came with a potato salad. The service however was just really bad. The workers make no effort to even care about you. Not sure if I would come back.
