WOW! Above and beyond by providing delivery and setup of product! I’m a home health nurse, and was searching for an affordable full bed rail for my patient. The first company I called was rude, and the rail was twice the cost of Gateway’s. Couldn’t be more satisfied with the customer service and product. Thank you! My Mother-​in-​Law came home from Kaiser today, and as she’ll need temporary assistance, we had a shopping list of things to buy for her. We knew exactly what we needed and so didn’t have to ask a lot of questions.
We were pretty sure what we needed, so shopping was actually quite easy.
I did some price-​comparisons and out of three items, I found one of them to be overpriced and will be shopping elsewhere for it.
However, they can’t be beat for location and convenience.
Next to the Longhorn Restaurant off of Fremont and Saratoga-​Sunnyvale. Closed Sundays. Easy parking.

They don’t have cica-​care silicone gel sheet. But they do sell steri-​strip and tegaderm individually (instead of a box) and in different sizes, which is nice!

Gateway was very polite and helpful, and helped me think through my options about toilet seats, like how easy to clean and versatility when guests are over and you want to convert back to regular.

Both the man and woman working here were very helpful and friendly. I interacted mostly with him, and he helped me find what I needed and measure to make sure it was the right size. The few interactions I had with the woman were quick and friendly, too.
They didn’t have the exact item I needed in stock, so he ordered it for me and it arrived in a couple days.
I’d be happy to come back here again, if I needed another medical item.

Tucked away next to the 24-​Hr Fitness Center at Fremont and Sunnyvale-​Saratoga is a store which sells medical supplies. Though the store is small, it stocks everything I needed for my 91-​yr old Mom. From walkers and wheelchairs to wound care and incontinence supplies. I’ve compared the prices at 5 or 6 other local medical supply stores and these were the most reasonable. And store hours are convenient — open until 6 PM.
Steve Sona, the owner, is very knowledgeable about his products, very patient answering basic questions and very nice with a ready smile. If you’re in this store, no doubt, you are already stressed out caring for a loved one. He is very soothing.
I’m glad I found my way to Gateway Healthcare.
