This place is big inside! I highly recommend their local cider black cherry cider, which is the best cider I ever had, not one of the best, the best! Their fish and chip are great looking, and I tried their lunch free range turkey burger, great too! It’s good for happy hours and business lunches!

My co-workers and I usually come here for lunch at least twice a month. The food is always really good and they have a unique lunch special or two each day. My favorite is the grilled salmon which is usually on the menu, but they also have a lot of other great dishes. Oscar, the bartender, is always very helpful about each dish and knowledgable about each beer they serve so don’t be afraid to ask.

Went here for lunch at noon on Friday. The location is in the middle of a bunch of strip mall business yet it is beautiful. The setting feels like you are not in the city. The building is surrounded by ponds, fountains, trees, and ducks. The restaurant is nice inside as well with great views. When we walked in there were 2 other groups waiting. A group of 5 and a group of 2. Our group was 3 people. Though there were at least 30 tables open, we were given a pager and told a wait time of 10 – 15 minutes. I guess they were under staffed, yet it was a Friday so you would think they should not be. Once sat, our server was there shortly and was very nice and attentive throughout the meal. The food took quite a while to come out and was mediocre at best according to all 3 of us. This was our first time there for all 3 of us. We had Fish and Chips, A cheeseburger, homemade chips with beer cheese, and Ceviche. None of us very happy with our food. The fish and chips tasted like old fish, not fresh. My ceviche had no citrus taste to it at all and was chewy. All I could really taste was the onions even after I squeezed lemon on it. Probably the worst ceviche I have ever had. The burger was fine, but a bit dry after being ordered medium rare. The beer cheese sauce was decent and the homemade chips were alright. I give this place a 3 for the server and the beautiful scenery, but the food and the beer were nothing I would ever try again.

The good: Their beer is pretty good. Have had most of them and they are all as they should be. The jambalaya, while not traditional, is quite tasty. The bad: Don’t bother with the Kobe burger. At $ 26(?!) it should come with much more than just a burger and chips. Seriously — you’re in proper steak territory here. Mine came overcooked(asked for medium rare and it came well done), with a crushed bun and cold chips. For $ 26 I expect spot-on cooking and fresh, sizzling, cooked to order chips. The ugly: We ordered martinis to start and mine was the wrong vodka(came flavored when I asked for regular — citrus with olives?! come on guys…) and a dirty martini should NOT come with a slice of lime. Ever. Stick with ordering beer, which we switched to.

My coworker treated me out to lunch one rainy Friday and we got here at exactly 11:30am. I requested a table next to the window, nice view of the small lake and water fountain. We saw a family of ducks waddling about too. Spacious interior, smelled kind of musty though. Our waiter, Joseph, took care of us and recommended a watermelon beverage. Opting for a non-alcoholic drink, we ordered coconut lime spritzers. Complimentary bread was ok. For lunch, I had the chicken piccata with capers, cream sauce, mashed potatoes, and crisp green beans. Tasted fine, excellent green bean texture. The chicken texture was somewhat rubbery, it seems they didn’t use breast meat. My coworker had clam chowder and fresh cut kennebec French fries. Loved those! I could eat those fries all day. Cut like flat wedges, seasoned just right with a pinch of salt. Interesting how the clam chowder was topped with croutons. Good service, fills up fast for lunch and the parking lot is always full around 6pm. Happy hour?

I’m marinating my review to reflect on my true experience. This wasn’t my party, so I don’t really want to be dismissive of the Faultline, it just wasn’t remarkable in any way, a meh type of evening. Overall, I’d say it was an underwhelming dinner celebration. A serene setting outside featuring a pond with a fountain. Nice spacious building, good ambience. A little cold and industrial, but it’s a brewery, so quite fitting at that. I’d expected the dining area to be filled with people, then again, on a Monday night, probably not so much; I bet they’re up to capacity on the weekends. Yet it was loud with chatter due to acoustics, as it always is — intentionally constructed that way. My main beef is with food and beer selection. None of our ordered dishes was worth it IMHO. With so many original and unique beer choices all over the bay and the coast — beer is «the thing» nowadays and everybody is brewing — I felt the list here wasn’t original, and it underwhelmed me as well. We ordered some apps to start with, your bar basics, spicy wings, crispy calamari, seafood ceviche, the usual. So ordinary to the point of being not at all tasty, nor crunchy, definitely not a finger licking good, ha-ha. The Indonesian spicy wings weren’t exotic or anything, a bit undercooked to my liking when the meat doesn’t come off the bone that easily. They supposedly were tossed with fresh ginger, garlic, basil, and a sweet and spicy soy paper sauce, but I tasted none of that, only bright red spiciness killing the joy. Mind you, I love my spicy foods! They got cold fast(or were they heated up enough to begin with?) So did the calamari. There just wasn’t any deliciousness in the air, none of that great aroma you’d want. Main dishes: again, limited(but expensive!) selection, especially for what you get. Ribs are ribs, they were Ok but not extremely delicious and quite expensive. Simply grilled fish choices included«today’s» fish selection of salmon, red snapper, or something else(which name escapes me at the moment). That dish, neither finished with pineapple salsa, nor with tarragon butter, served with house vegetables and garlic rice, didn’t do anything for me. The saffron rice was plain, the veggies included a snippet of plainly boiled cauliflower and broccoli, lukewarm. The fish itself was under-broiled if you ask me. The burgers as served, grilled burger patty with sautéed mushrooms on a ban, no greens, no tomato slices, pickles, nor fresh onion rings, nothing of that sort of thing; served with potato chips… Well, rather disappointing. Perhaps my expectations were too high?

This place is great for happy hour, work or personal! Great house beers on tap as well as local favorites. The food is not bad neither. Try their nachos.

This place is really underwhelming… and quite expensive. Between my two friends and I, we ended up paying about $ 35 bucks per person… and we ordered 3 appetizers, 1 entrée, 3 ciders, and 3 shooters. The food was meh compared to other places that don’t charge an arm and a leg. I mean, I guess the vibes were cool. We came in on a Friday evening and there was a live band that was singing and playing instruments by us. The only unfortunate part was that they were a bit too loud for us to have a normal conversation. Service was mediocre for the cost and it just was overall very underwhelming. I don’t think I’d come back to this place as it is disappointing and lackluster in all senses.

Pro: Beers, service, ambiance, proximity to hotels. Their beer selection isn’t huge, but I don’t need a million beers, just three or four that are good. Waiter was knowledgeable and honest about taste, based on personal preferences. Con: Food was okay, about the quality of room service in a nicer Hilton or Marriott.

Cool spot! Got a groupon for 2 flight samplers and an appetizer. Beer was coo! Different flavors and the outdoor patio had pretty flowers and a spot for ducks. Fries were ok nothing to brag about but all in all it was a coo lil spot loved all the sports things they had on the walls

Friend and I were excited to try Faultline out, as we rarely venture out of our own area and were just excited to try a brewery we hadn’t been to before. I was already sorta wary about the restaurant /brewery combo — those rarely are exceptional places… either the food is good, and the beer is bad or vice versa… or even both! My ‘expectations’ were definitely ‘met’, you could say… I ordered the Chickpea & Eggplant Burger and my friend ordered the Kale Salad w/Ceviche. Very average, nothing too special. But ultimately filling for both orders. The chips that came with my burger were the best part of my meal. I also liked the combo of my veggie burger — have never seen that before. We also ordered a beer tasting tower to share — 10 tasters. Beer was very, very average. And I always feel bad when I come across average beer because some brewer is probably proud of their work. :(However, all the beers here were VERY watery and quite a few tasted too similar to one another. The only ones I ‘enjoyed’ were the IPA and the Kolsch. All were around 2 – 3 stars on Untappd for me. Overall, it’s a cool, chill place itself. There was even live music the night we went. Sweet lake view from the dining area windows. I’m sure the outdoor patio would be cool to sit in. Giant dining area — feels like a wedding venue haha. Wouldn’t be back myself for food/drinks, but would be back if I was hanging out with a group.

The appetizers were the only positive part of my experience here. The wings were excellent… we should have stopped there. When the waitress came by to take our order she asked my 7 year old son if he wanted to sub the chips that came with his burger for fries or a salad– and being 7 of course he wanted the fries. When we got our check my wife and I were alarmed to see that we had been charged 2.50 for the substitution! We had also been charged an extra dollar for cheddar cheese. This is America! I should not have to pay an extra dollar to substitute American cheese on my burger! I assumed this was a upscale establishment, not a McDonalds, yet I was charged 2.50 because instead of chips, my son wanted fries with his burger! Oh darn it, it just makes me concerned to see these westerners doing this, see now this is why the Chinese are beating us in education! Not only that but this restaurant is located near a dentist building and an office– I believe this attracts riffraff and made the overpriced walk back to my car unnerving. All in all, I feel much like the Resturaunt itself: empty and full of regret

3.5 stars. But had to round up for the awesome staff and service! Nice casual ambiance for catching a Warriors game after work. There was nothing spectacular about the overpriced food. Very typical bar food quality. Even the fries were just meh. How can you go wrong with fries? :(I miiiiight give the calamari a try next time. If I do come back, it would only be for a beer! My favorites were the Scottish ale and dunkelweizen(darker version of their hefe). The banana and clove flavors very subtle, so don’t worry about it being too sweet or overpowering.

The wait time is ridiculously high, which would still be fine if the staff could try to be less rude, whoever wants to spoil their mood even before starting to have fun on a Friday night. Expected better from a place like this.

My boyfriend and I went there for the first time Wednesday and were not at all impressed. Everything was pricey for being so mediocre. We had a flight of ten different beers — only one I would have ordered again. The other nine were so boring I felt like I was drinking Coors. The nacho fries were underwhelming. He had the turkey burger, and it was just ok. Even the chips were pretty basic, especially for being a specialty. I had the pasta with seafood. The seafood was good and cooked well, but the pasta was spaghetti from Olive Garden. I’d rather spend the same amount of money at a place that has great beer and yummy food!

Not happy with service or incompetence of employee ATALL! 1. We split the bill of $ 150 including tip between 6 people, everyone paid cash and I put $ 25 on my card. I checked my bank account 2 days later and have a charge of $ 135. I clearly signed the receipt for the right amount. I did not and will not leave a $ 125 tip for meh service. now I have to go out of my way to correct incompetence and illiteracy of employee… 2. food is not memorable, especially for cost, beer was better, only reason for 2 stars. Friends ordered multiple orders of fish & chips. When asking for extra tartar sauce, the server brought out 2−¼ filled dipping dishes and told friends to split…(?) 3. needless to say, I will not return

I would give it 2.5 stars. I would only recommend here as a happy hour place to chat, chill and drink the beers. I wouldn’t recommend the food at all. They have a lot of varieties of beer to choose from. Not as much a real pub, but enough for you to get a variety. I would say the best food here are the fries. Whether they are garlic or truffle fries, they come out hot, crispy and tasty. The other food is not that great. The fish in fish & chips wasn’t that crispy and crunchy and it came out lukewarm. I was a bit disappointed in that. Overall, I would say to come here for some drinks and try out the fries, but I would save your stomach for some better food elsewhere.

This is a really nice place to chill with some friends after work. There’s plenty of room inside if you’re into that, but they have an awesome patio out back. There’s even a little waterfront out there. The apps are solid. They have a pretty wide range of in-house beers, which is nice for a brewpub. If they didn’t they’d need to supplement with outside beer. I haven’t had any of the service problems people seem to be mentioning here. There’s nothing all that remarkable about the food or which is why I only give it 4 stars, but overall I recommend it.

Faultline Brewing Company is very welcoming, boasts excellent customer service, and has decent beer. However, the food is a mixture of tasting okay, and a mixture of tasting downright awful, so choose wisely. I’d recommend skipping the chef’s lunch special, which is some type of BBQ beef sandwich. I went with a couple friends for lunch and I ordered the fish and chips plate($ 16), which came with three large pieces of fish that were battered and cooked to perfection, with a side of tasty fries. While the fish was visually appealing, it lacked a bit of flavor. Moreover, the tartar sauce that came with the fish was bland and didn’t help flavor the fish much at all. Alongside the fish and chips, I ordered a beer flight and a basket of Thai chili wings that saved the day. I enjoyed the Kolsch beer, but the other beers were just okay. The wings were juicy and flavorful, but a tad messy. The lowlight of the meal was my friend’s sandwich, which was labeled as the chef’s lunch special. The meat was minced into tiny pieces and covered in some type of sauce, probably BBQ. The meat literally tasted like it was processed, and was of the same quality as dog food. While I enjoyed the wings, the customer service, and the atmosphere, I don’t think I’ll be back to Faultline anytime soon.

I came over on a Sunday to visit specifically to try their brews. I found the place closed. My bad for not first checking their web site. I then checked their web site, determined that they are open on Mondays, so I went over. The place was pretty busy when I arrived, but I found a spot at the bar and chatted with the bartender about their brews. I ended up tasting all of them: Kolsch(4.7% ABV) Golden Ale(FBC Session Ale)(4.8% ABV) Hefeweizen(5.3% ABV) Pale Ale(5.1% ABV) IPA(6.8% ABV) Belgian Abbey(8.0% ABV) Cask Conditioned Golden Ale(4.9% ABV) Best Bitter(5.8% ABV) Stout(6.2% ABV) I have to say I was incredibly disappointed in all of their brews. Having stated that, I am not a fan of the Kolsch, Golden Ale, Hefeweizen styles — and typically don’t like them anywhere. Having stated that — the beer styles I do enjoy that Faultline brews — IPAs, American Pale Ale’s, and Stout’s — I did not think were very good. As an afterthought, with a cool name like Faultline Brewing Co. — you think they could come up with some interesting names for their brews. But no — they simply are named for the most part for the style of beer that they are. No imagination! But I guess that is par for the course, the beers sadly are not very good. As I was walking out, I noticed how packed the place was and how many folks had full pints of this or that. Either the food is really good to attract so many folks, or the locals really like their beers. I did notice, as at least one other Unilocal review pointed out, I could smell the restrooms in the entrance area. Not a good thing. I won’t be back — at least not for the beer.
