Dror Catering

TL;DR: Excellent food with timely and courteous email service/​ordering/​correspondence.
Dror Catering provides yummy, diverse home-​made food. Great both for holidays/​parties and just for day-​to-​day orders.

Dror, the business owner, came into my office and passed out catering flyers and conveniently I needed to order lunch the next day for my office. I decided to go with his services and was so pleasantly surprised! For one, the presentation of the food is out of this world compared to other mainstream catering options. Dror comes in and sets it all up himself and it’s just so clear that he is very passionate about his business. I loved his services so much that I made him my weekly caterer, he would send me menu options every week and I loved the variety he offered. I would recommend him to anyone!

Amazing value. Very high quality food with a respectable choice of tastes.
The food is delicious.
It is obvious that the owners deeply care about their work and cooking.
Bottom line: Dror was, by far my (and several other colleagues) favorite caterer among about 20 caterers in my previous work place.

Ordered from Dror Catering for the first time a few weeks ago and it was excellent! The food was delicious and the services was 100% client first! The owner Yair was on time with the food (this was for a corporate meeting) and he set up everything wonderfully!
We ordered:
#6 Roasted Salmon w/​Herbs
#34 Lamb Kabobs
#60 Chicken Marsala
#51 Greek Salad
#21 Stir fry Asparagus and Mushroom
#46 Rice pilaf
Everything was delicious! My favorite though was the Roased Salmon w/​Herbs!
I recommend Dror everytime when asked about a good place to order from that doesn’t only serve sandwiches. Try it out. You will not be disappointed!

===Good items===
Tangerine Ham and Pineapple Glaze — really good combination. Ham is juicy.
Garlic Bread — the amount of spread is perfect. Not overly heavy.
Stuffing — Very yummy. Nothing special.
===Decent Items===
Caesar salad — nothing special. Typical caesar salad.
Spinach Salad — same as above.
===Bad Items===
Mashed Yams and potatoes — way too bland. need way more salt. One bite and I was done with my portion.
Herb and Mustard Turkey — flavor feels boring.

Just before the holidays, I ordered lunch for all our 100 employees. After placing the order I was a bit worried what happened if they would not like it and that all my plans for a great event will be spoiled … but, I was wrong… it was the other way around!!!
They all LOVED Dror’s food. The food came on time and was finished after 10 – 15 minutes. I received A LOT of complements and many EEs even asked where they could order from him. Not only that, some managers left behind as they were late for that event and didn’t have a chance to taste the great food so with one phone call to Yair, I got in no time, a whole new order (for 10 people) with even more great stuff.
His service, his generosity, they way the food comes and the manners of his workers were outstanding!!!
A week after, I ordered another big order for another company, belong to the same owner, and again, it was a huge success! They all loved it and asked where could they buy more of it.
If you have a company and you are looking for a way to compensate your EEs, this is a great one.

This place is open to the public from 11:45am-1pm (AMCC Cafeteria) 215 Moffett Park Drive, Sunnyvale. They have a new menu everyday.
Today I took a co-​worker for lunch the line was long there was only one person and she was very sweet and apologized 5 times that today they got very busy. Anyway when we got there the salad was gone and so the chicken shish kabob but still Beef Gyros and some side dishes left. Soft drink from a vending machine is $ 0.25. The food is very yummy it’s home cooking the portion are OK; my co-​worker complained it was not enough for him and he is a short and slim guy. Lunch Meat with 2 side dishes is $ 6.50 with taxes. You can go for 3 side dishes for more $$$.

So my work decided to cater this place for Lunch on a really boring Wednesday. let me tell you it is BOMB and I am very picky when it comes to this type of food as I grew up on it.
They brought us many delicious dishes.
Schnitzel = Nice and crispy. not too much breading. Tasted great.
Cooked turkey meatballs in sauce = I don’t think I’ve ever had turkey meatballs before. these tasted bomb on top of the vegetable rice!
BBQ chicken kebab = Very tasty chicken on a stick
Potato burekas = Nice flaky crusted pastry with potato inside
Cauliflower in tomato sauce = Never had this before. this actually tasted very good!
Pita with hummus = An oldskool favorite. The hummus was delicious and fresh!
Roasted potatoes = Even with very light seasoning these tasted pretty decent. A Mediterranean place that serves potatoes? AMAZING!
Vegetable rice = Your basic vegetable rice. nothing amazingly out of this world but it was good with the turkey meatballs.
It’s a shame that this place only does catering. They should totally open to the public. Their food is delicious!
It would make a great place to take someone into this type of food. Would I say this place is better than Dish Dash? Definitely.
I like the fact that they also did not need to make their food spicy to make it taste good. Dror is awesome!!!
